Johacny is a native of Maracaibo – Venezuela and is making her way every day in the competitive European market as a world class athlete and model.

1.- Johacny, you were born in Venezuela. What do you like about your hometown in Venezuela? Currently in Ireland, what are your feelings for Ireland, its people, and its culture?
I feel fortunate to have grown up in Maracaibo, Venezuela, a city that holds a special place in my heart. Maracaibo is known for its vibrant nightlife, delicious food, and warm, friendly people. One of my favourite things about Maracaibo is the variety of delicious street food available, such as patacones, tequeños, and cachapas. But what I love most about my hometown is the sense of community that exists there. Despite its size, Maracaibo feels like a small town, where people look out for each other and are always willing to lend a helping hand.
Moving to Ireland has been a big change for me, but it’s also been an incredible experience. I’ve been struck by the beauty of the country’s countryside, its rich history and culture, and the friendliness of its people. Irish culture is deeply rooted in traditions such as music, dance, and storytelling, and I’ve enjoyed learning about these customs and their significance. One of the things that stands out to me about Irish culture is the importance of hospitality and community. Like in Maracaibo, people here are welcoming and always willing to help out.
Overall, I feel proud to have roots in both Maracaibo and Ireland. Each place has its own unique strengths and qualities, and I feel lucky to have experienced both of them.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
As a fitness model and beauty competitor, fitness is not just my career but also my hobby. I love staying active and trying new workouts that challenge me both physically and mentally. In my free time, you can often find me at the gym, I also love to explore new places and go on adventures. Traveling to different countries and experiencing new cultures brings me a lot of joy and fulfilment.
Recently, I discovered a new hobby which is to visit different gyms around the world, train, and create motivational content with my boyfriend, the fitness and cover model Serkan Akgun.
When it comes to what makes me laugh, I find joy in simple things like spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family, and making memories with them. I also love watching comedy movies and romantic movies, as they provide a fun escape from everyday life. Aside from that, I enjoy reading, listening to music, and trying new foods. Overall, I believe in living life to the fullest and finding joy in the little things, which has helped me maintain a positive attitude and a healthy work-life balance.
3.- International Fitness Model – Athlete , Beauty Queen, Miss Bikini Ireland 2022 1st RU – When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
Firstly, I have to say that I made this decision at one of the most painful moments of my life, when I was suffering from depression and anxiety, and my heart was shattered by a personal situation that I prefer not to mention at this time. This situation happened at the end of 2021, and during the last month and the beginning of 2022, I had to deal with a psychologist as I didn’t want to eat or get out of bed. But my prayers to God and my therapy helped me a lot, and I must mention that my psychiatrist, Marianela from Maracaibo, provided me with a lot of support during this period. Mental health exists, I have been there, and it is a big struggle that you have to deal with, but you are the only person who can decide to continue living and encourage yourself that you can get out of the hole you are in at that moment.
One day I woke up and decided to give myself a chance to live again, that I am a strong and powerful person who can achieve anything. So I started going to the gym in the mornings to do any type of cardio depending on my mood. For a long time, I did spinning classes
steppers, sweat classes, etc. After that, I ran to connect to the computer and start my work commitment in finance, where I need to deal with a lot of numbers and very high responsibilities related to the revenue of a transnational company. There was a lot of pressure, and when I finished work, I went back to the gym to work out and release the pressure from work and the bad moments that I had gone through for many months. But I managed everything by paying attention and focusing on my goals. I did all of this for many months, every day, maybe resting one or two days a week.
When I started to see my changes, people also noticed them and started asking me why I didn’t compete. So I checked what I could enjoy and competed in the Miss Bikini Ireland 2022, obtaining the 1st Runner Up and the title of Irish Power Angel 2022, which is actually one of my sponsors for the new energy drink in the country. In the same competition, I won another sponsor where I am the main face of this Skinfinks.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Johacny in each activity carried out as a person, athlete, and model?
As a person, I believe my positivity and resilience are my distinctive stamps. As an athlete, it’s my determination and discipline. And as a model, I strive to bring elegance, confidence, and individuality to every shoot or runway show. I try to bring my unique perspective and personal style to every project I work on. By doing so, I hope to inspire others to embrace their own individuality and express themselves through fashion.
Overall, the combination of these qualities is what makes me who I am, both as a person and as an athlete and model. They’ve helped me overcome challenges, pursue my passions, and achieve my goals, and I look forward to continuing to develop and refine these qualities as I move forward in my career
5.- What is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
Confidence is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model. It’s essential to have faith in yourself, your unique qualities, and your abilities to succeed in this industry.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I’m aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models, and it’s an honour and a responsibility that I take seriously. Being a role model and inspiring young women to pursue their dreams is incredibly important to me ask my mission is to promote positive values and behaviours and I hope to continue doing so for as long as possible.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modelled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modelled in front of a video camera, I was nervous, but also excited. I knew that modelling was something I wanted to pursue, and the opportunity to be in front of the camera was thrilling. The first time at a beauty pageant was also nerve-wracking, but it was an incredible experience that taught me a lot about myself and gave me the confidence to pursue my dreams.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think social media has a tremendous amount of power today. It has the ability to connect people from all over the world, share information and ideas, and amplify voices that may have been otherwise unheard. However, it also has its downsides, such as the spread of misinformation, cyberbullying, and the potential for addiction. It’s important for individuals and society as a whole to use social media responsibly and to be aware of its potential impact.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? What’s your favourite social media?
I like to interact with my followers on social media by responding to their comments and messages, sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of my life, and using my platform to raise awareness about issues that are important to me. My favourite social media platform is Instagram, because it allows me to share photos and videos in a visual way and connect with people from all over the world.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would advise young people who have talent but are hesitant to take the next step to believe in themselves and their abilities, and to surround themselves with supportive people who will encourage and uplift them. It’s important to remember that taking risks and facing challenges is often necessary for personal growth and success.
For parents who do not support their children’s talents, I would encourage them to try to understand their child’s passions and interests, and to support and encourage them in pursuing their dreams. It’s important for parents to remember that their children’s happiness and fulfilment is ultimately what matters most.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
From my experience in the world of fashion and beauty pageants, I have learned some important lessons that have helped me in my personal and professional life. One of the most important lessons I have learned is that perseverance and hard work are key to achieving your goals. I have also learned to have confidence in myself and to never give up, even when faced with obstacles. Another lesson that has been important to me is the importance of teamwork and building relationships with others in the industry.
12.- Johacny, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model has been a journey full of ups and downs, but it has definitely not been easy. I have faced many obstacles, including rejection, competition, and criticism. However, I have learned to overcome these obstacles by staying true to myself and my goals, and by focusing on my strengths rather than my weaknesses. I have also learned to use these obstacles as opportunities to learn and grow, and to become a better model and person.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, I have thought about being an actress, and I think it would be an exciting challenge to explore a different form of art and expression. I have always been interested in the entertainment industry, as it offers many opportunities for creativity and self-expression. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows, and I appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into creating them.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
In my opinion, it’s essential to keep fighting for gender equality and women’s rights in societies where women are still abused. We need to raise awareness and take actions to end violence against women, provide support for victims, and promote equal opportunities for women in all areas of life. It’s crucial to empower women and encourage them to speak up and take leadership roles, and we need to work together to create a safe and equal world for all.
15.- What is your motivation and what are you grateful for every day?
My motivation is to keep improving and growing as a person, to inspire others to follow their dreams and passions, and to make a positive impact on the world. I’m grateful for my family, friends, health, and the opportunities I’ve had in life. I’m also grateful for the support and love of my fans and followers, who inspire me to keep pushing forward and pursuing my goals.
16.- Do you like to travel? What countries have you visited? What other countries would you like to visit, and which places do you recommend to visit from Venezuela and Ireland?
I absolutely love to travel! It’s one of my favourite things to do. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to visit several countries, including the United States,

From Venezuela, I highly recommend visiting Angel Falls, Los Roques, and the beautiful beaches in Margarita Island. From Ireland, I recommend visiting the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, and the vibrant city of Dublin.

I am very grateful for this opportunity to share a little about my life, my career, and my dreams.
First and foremost, I would like to give a message to all those girls and women who are looking to step up in their life and they don’t know how to start I would say it is essential to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve and set specific goals to work towards. Don’t be afraid to dream big and push yourself beyond your comfort zone.
Secondly, success often requires hard work, determination, and perseverance. You may face obstacles along the way, but remember that each setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. Keep pushing forward and don’t give up on your dreams.
Thirdly, seek out mentors and role models who have achieved success in your field of interest. Learn from their experiences, ask for advice, and build a network of supportive individuals who can guide and inspire you on your journey.
Lastly, always remember that your success is ultimately determined by your own efforts and attitude. Believe in yourself, stay focused on your goals, and work tirelessly towards them. With dedication and persistence, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
