1.– Victoria, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Scranton Pennsylvania USA and shortly thereafter I moved as a child to Auburn Washington USA. I loved growing up in such a beautiful place near the mountains and the sea. I love the fact that my hometown is full of friendly people and that the mountains and sea are not far away to get there. You can drive away to them for a day trip to hiking in the wilderness which is my favorite pastime when I’m not occupied with shoes and events.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I find joy in climbing/ bouldering and achieving my goals. Laughing with friends and building legos are some of the greatest experiences of life. The best joy is playing with my 4 year old son Wolfgang. My favorite game to play with him is hide and seek and tickling him. When he laughs, my heart is bursting with joy.
3.-International Model, Miss Woman Austria – Miss Independent USA. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I actually started taking the first steps as a model about three years ago when I began to model for my own brand. My designs needed to be presented somehow and what is better than wearing and I think what is better than to be presenting the designs myself? As far as pageants, I actually started this journey when I was scouted by a miss contest talent agent in 2023. It was a funny coincidence because I was just coming back from the couples therapy where I decided to divorce my husband and I saw the invitation to Miss Europe Continental in my messages. It was the literal definition of when one door shuts, another one opens.
4.- Fashion Designer, What do you think when creating, during the process? Do you like it?
Fashion designing is my ultimate passion and I love every minute from the idea to the sketch to the product and the best part is to wear exactly what I imagined and show it off proudly to the world!
5.- What expectations – pending task do you think you have? What are the next steps as a designer?
I have so many steps as a designer to take as I plan one day that my brand runs itesels and it is internationally known classic style clothing. My next steps are the presentation in Naples to my potential sponsor and the next few show presentations in Austria. I will make my first appearance in front the press of Italy at Rome FW 2023 and I never would have such an opportunity would arrive for me as a young one woman business.
6..- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Victoria in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
Victoria’s iconic stamp is confidence and elegance. As a model I am the most confident with my abilities and my talents so I carry myself that way. Another character trait that I would define as iconic is my ability to keep a classic, conservative, elegant look. A lot of people say I am like the rebirth of Audrey Hepburn.
7..- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
To be an international model you have to be outgoing and determined. You cannot be easy to give up. I mean I was told I could never model because I am too short and I am older than most models, but I proved the naysayers wrong when I was just signed as an international model with SEEDS Model Management. I believe you must act as strong character as possible if you want to win jobs and the heart of agencies you must be someone who stands out from the others.
8.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I currently see myself as a highly influential woman proving all stereotypes wrong as a model that is a mother and a titleholder who has been through an abusive marriage and divorce. My motto is that you should shoot for the moon and if you miss you will land among the stars. Everyone can be a star and achieve the dreams they wish no matter where they come from or where they are going as long as they are to try it’s possible. Audrey Hepburn quotes “ Nothing is Impossible as the word itself says “ I’m possible!”
9.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Modeling came naturally to me as did acting so I love being in front of a camera and I love presenting myself to the press. At my first pageant I tried to enjoy and give as much love to the camera as possible because I believe I was there to show the world who I truly am and that is exactly what I did.
10.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is the single most important form of marketing these days. Everyone has it and everyone views it. Whether they are on a bus or a bench waiting for someone, people are addicted to media. If you want to make an impact on people’s minds, you must be influential through the social media platforms and press presence.
11.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Instagram is my preferred social media channel as it is most effective at targeting the audience I want most and it must be good for us to make very nice stories and document as much of everything as possible. Everyday should give your followers a taste of your day highlights.
12.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I grew up always being supported by my parents in talent I have and encouraged to pursue them. I would say parents should be open to their children’s God given gifts as that’s what makes them unique and embrace it.
13.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve learned the fashion world is a cutthroat and very fast paced fish eat fish world. You must protect yourself, your craft and your art with your life. People are ruthless when it comes to advancing their careers and will do all even stealing designs from others to make it. This is the hardest part of the fashion industry for me to understand.
14.- Victoria, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model for photos has been easy for me, but dealing with naysayers about my height being too short of agencies and being too old to begin a modeling career were my struggles. Many said I started too late since I started officially at age 22 and my height was not good enough for the modeling industry of catwalk or fashions. Through of of this I am proud to say I proved them wrong as I am currently part of an international agency SEEDS model Management in Berlin.
15.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I actually AM an actress and I look forward to being much more involved in films and movies over the next span of my life as I get more and more known. I recently starred as a main character in the music video of Roman Josef Schwendt where I starred as the protagonist Antonia. I also have starred in numerous advertisements and commercials in my country.
16.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
Women are the future. Women have the ability to give life and that alone is the reason I would be first to say woman are great and should be treated as such. It’s like a woman has a superpower that men do not and without women, the population would dwindle and the human race would not exist. It’s important to treat woman with gentle love and care and not abuse them as they are key to our human existence.
17.- Victoria, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
What motivates me everyday is being able to ensure happiness for my little boy. Knowing he sees me as his greatest reason to wake up each day and knowing he loves me unconditionally motivates me to do the best to provide for my beautiful son a life he deserves full of love and laughter. Wolfgang is my everything.
18.- Victoria, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I absolutely love to travel and it’s the most amazing thing about my current career. I get to have work and travel together. I was given the “ travel bug” when I was 16 years old and my dad took me to Rome Italy which to this day is my favorite city in Europe. I’ve been to about 16 different countries and I plan to see more. The Philippines is one of them as I will participate this coming November as Miss Independent USA.
