It is an honor to introduce Livia Popów, International Model , Beauty Queen, Miss Warszawy Finalist 2022 – Miss Egzotica Finalist 2019 – TLOTY Poland Finalist 2018. Livia was born in England and is of French-Polish descent.

1.- Livia, you were born in England ,What do you like about your hometown in England? What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
What I love about Ealing Broadway is the beautiful park, I used to go there with my sisters all the time.
My hobbies are horseback riding, knitting, and volunteering for a specialized rescue team.
What makes me laugh is often myself, as I find that it’s important to reflect on life, and the realization that something is not as big of a deal as I thought it was at the time is amusing.
Helping others and helping animals brings me the most joy in life.
2.- Are you half French and half Polish ,What do you feel for France and Poland, its people and its culture?
Indeed I am half French from Martinique and half Polish. I grew up in Poland so I do feel a lot of gratitude for being able to grow up in a safe country. Despite hardships growing up I love Polish culture and people. France always makes me think of vacation, when I was younger we used to travel to Martinique and France all the time, the people and culture are amazing it’s a completely different world.
3.- International Model , Beauty Queen, Miss Warszawy Finalist 2022 – Miss Egzotica Finalist 2019 – TLOTY Poland Finalist 2018 , When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I’ve always wanted to be a model, however my first show was in 2016 for Guy Tang from there I was hooked and started doing research.
I love being able to achieve my dreams; every show, music video pageant is amazing and I consider myself lucky.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Livia in each activity carried out as a person and model?
I think what is unique about me is definitely my personality. I find that being able to be myself and genuine no matter what the situation is important.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue is definitely confidence. Loving yourself and believing that you are beautiful is the key to success.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I knew that from the start I will have a responsibility to bear when becoming a model. It’s not necessarily about being an idol it is more about leading as an example in action and behavior, recognizing that nobody is perfect and that when you make a mistake you use it to learn and grow.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled I was very excited and nervous. I wanted to do my best and I was still learning on how to pose and move correctly and how to have more expression in my face. A million thoughts racing really.
My first time at a beauty pageant is when I truly felt beautiful. I was surrounded by beauty. I felt like I was experiencing my fullest potential and this gave me more confidence than I ever thought I could ever have.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think social media is an incredibly powerful tool. Without it I wouldn’t be where I am today. However I know that social media can be incredibly toxic if not used correctly and in moderation.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I like to post stories and on TikTok in order to interact with my followers. Currently I have a small following however I really want to grow my follower base to be able to share more with the world.
My favorite social media is Instagram but I’m starting to enjoy TikTok a bit more.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
My advice is go for it. In Poland there’s a lot of modelling events that are safe that happen at shopping malls where they recruit models and beauty queens. Otherwise you can look online and definitely message your local models. Research is the key to success.
For the parents who do not support their children, I understand the stress that may come by allowing your child to join the modeling world, however having a child that is successful in more than one area, has communication skills and knows how to network is a child that is set up for success in the future. Beauty, brains and confidence is definitely the trifecta to have. If you’re scared that your child will fall into a bad crowd go with them to the photo shoots, help them research, get involved. The lack of support comes from preconceived stereotypes and the shadiness from the 80’s/90’s/00’s the world has changed.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
The most important lessons that I have learned is:
– Fake it until you make it with confidence but don’t be fake and have attitude
– Just because you don’t get a job doesn’t mean you’re bad or ugly
– Find your niche before they want you for everything you have to be amazing at something
– Don’t be so serious, laugh at adversity, move in silence, and bask in your success
12.- Livia, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model definitely has not been easy. Since I work a full time job and I study it is hard to find jobs that fit my schedule and often I have to choose between my full time job and advancing my modelling career. However I find that by networking and making connections at every gig that I get people will remember me and I get offers that I can adjust to my schedule in advance.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I have thought about being an actress and it is something that I will be working towards once I move to Canada
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
My opinion on the role of women in these societies is that sooner or later they will rise and receive the equality they deserve. With education and rights men and women in these countries will realise that women are equal to men and there is no reason as to why they shouldn’t be treated as such. Equality for all doesn’t mean that religious values have to be sacrificed. My favorite quote to people who think that equality goes against their religious views is: “And God promised men that good and obedient wives would be found in all corners of the earth….and then he made the Earth round and laughed!”
15.- Livia, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is wanting a good, safe and secure life. If I could give my future children even a quarter of the possibilities that I had when I was growing up I would feel like I have succeeded. I am grateful for the love and support from my family and friends they are my bedrock in staying grounded.
16.- Livia Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from Poland?
I love to travel! I have been to Poland, England, Wales, Spain, Italy, Egypt, USA, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Greece, Martinique, Germany, Belgium, Ukraine, Czechia and Finland.
I would love to visit, more islands in the Caribbean, Indonesia, Japan, S. Korea, Tunisia, Algeria honestly I want to travel the world!
Places to visit in Poland, definitely Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Zakopane, and Gdańsk. These cities are truly magical and Poland really has everything from mountains to sandy beaches to thick forests and clear lakes.

Overall I truly believe that modelling and beauty pageants have evolved from the stereotype of the catty and empty headed men and women. These days it has become more and more difficult to become successful in any area of life and in order to promote a business you have to promote yourself. It is a 24 hour job and it is not easy. However doing things right and becoming iconic instead of a trend is definitely the way to go. Patience is key.
