Welcome Kristin Ann Tomasello!!!!
1.- Kristin, you were born in the USA; what do you like about your hometown in the USA?
I was born and raised in Tampa. My family settled here when they migrated from Cuba, and when I go around to have it reminds me of my family. From the food to the culture.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh, or does it give you a lot of joy?
What brings me joy is painting and learning new ways to paint.
3.- Beauty Professional Model, Beauty Queen, Miss South Tampa USA 2023 – Miss South Florida 2022, When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageant? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions, and being a recognized influencer woman today?
At first, when I was learning how it was possible to achieve your dreams, I always had negative thoughts in the back of my mind what if this didn’t happen? What if this did happen, and what if it never happened? However, the most significant life-changing moment for me when I was reflecting is that you can be anything you want to be if you truly live by your intentions.
And taking the time to heal every day and reflect on how things made you feel and what you can do to make yourself feel peaceful and the most healthy because that is when you will see the results of your dreams. Sometimes our dreams can be so big, but what if we simplified our goals to be about finding peace, happiness, and health? I believe in my heart that those three things will lead you to your destiny.
4.- What do you think is Kristin’s distinctive, unique stamp in each activity carried out as a person and model?
Learning what the word happiness means and having gratitude in your everyday life.
I spent a month understanding what that meant, and coming from America, you can forget the sons of I have everything I need, but I always want more. We’re never content with what we just have in the present moment; I’ve learned how to be happy with myself. I wrote my book, God enlightened me, and I showed how you can find happiness in the present moment and what you can do to find yourself to realize you have more than what you need.
I have suffered from lupus and had near-death experiences I have I’ve had kidney issues, physical ailments, hives, lack of oxygen, and irregular heart rates.
This emotionally affected me in so many ways because I didn’t feel good enough. I was overweight because of my medication. I knew that no matter what I did, I didn’t know where I fit in. I didn’t know where I belonged, and it was confusing. It was almost an identity crisis because I was sick for many years.
I truly learned in those moments that this day is not guaranteed to you and that we should choose to be grateful for this day and every day.
5.- What is the primary virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
My virtue is having trust in God and having faith lead the way because I want this pathway to be about blessing others and showing others that they have the power within themselves to rise up from any situation.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I didn’t have women that were young to look up to when I was in middle school or high school, and I wish that I had someone that took the time to speak on self-worth, self-love, and what you can do to be a better woman for yourself because that is how you lead a healthy life.
That’s one of the most important things to me because we have to start focusing on the positive in people and the world. I want to help lead women into their next phase of life to know that no matter how dark it is, if you just choose to find the light in the situation, you will get out of it.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I was on camera, I was utterly camera shy, and it was because I was a little bit overweight that I ultimately felt like I didn’t belong there or I don’t even know how I ended up there because I wasn’t “beautiful in the eyes of myself.
And I felt the same way when I first competed in a pageant. I was convinced that no matter what my dreams or desires were, I would still be that girl they just brushed over.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I genuinely believe that social media can change anyone’s life. It’s free and a great way to speak and post artistic pictures to start a business and express your mind; that is the positive side of it, but if that is what people genuinely use this platform for, we could have a positive movement for the future.
9.- How do you interact with your followers on social media? What’s your favorite social media?
I love Instagram. It’s the only social media platform I enjoy being on because you can do life and always have more engagement from your friends and family.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you notify parents who do not support their children’s skills?
When I started my entrepreneurial life, my family supported my dreams. Still, they weren’t supportive and everything I was doing, which is okay because they didn’t understand. Do you know if the social media platforms I want to encourage people to take advantage of the free platforms that are available to us because they can change your life by being consistent on social media and speaking on things that affect you who you are and sometimes it just takes one person to change someone else’s life, so I encourage people to start sharing their stories sharing their traumas sharing what’s inside of them?
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
We must stop comparing ourselves to others and be more present and who we are because that is what makes the world so unique. That we’re all different, but we’re similar in many ways, and that’s what makes our world so beautiful. I want to encourage people to only focus on what they can control and trust in the process. Not everything will happen when you expect it, but it will happen when God is ready to give it to you, and that is what I’ve learned in the process of competing for his Florida USA in 2023.
12.- Kristin, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
The hardest lesson was when I was trying so hard to be a role model, and I wasn’t even a role model for myself. Still, I was overthinking the process of being a role model when being a role model is just being a person who is just there to help guide people and show people; let’s not do this because I made this mistake when I was younger.
Let’s avoid the same thing and walk people through how they can become a better version of themselves without pressuring them into being somebody they’re not. Every day, I took time to write in a notebook about how I wanted my life to change, my intentions, and my purpose. I just kept writing every single day the same thing.
A lot of the things started to happen, so even in obstacles, if you register the same things over and over and over and start reading them, writing them, and speaking them, they are going to happen because that is what your focus will be on.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I have been asked to be in two movies, and I’m still kind of on the fence about it because I don’t know how to act. I have never thought about being an actress, even though I love the entertainment industry. I think it allows people to become role models and philanthropists, give back, and shape the future. That is what inspires me so much to be in the entertainment industry, not so much acting at all of that.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a more significant role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
When I was traveling to Indonesia, and I got to witness some of the top leaders in the country, what I learned from this woman was instead of doing specific things for women to get a job or a career what she did was she taught them how to make their own money. She helped them build up a business and skills to sustain a living for themselves and their family, and then one specific town ended up having tons of the companies she helped build, changing hundreds and hundreds of people’s lives.
I think I’ve learned from them that they were just themselves. They just wanted sound in the world they didn’t try to be perfect. They just tried to be a person who loves people, and that is what I aspire to be more of every day because we can try to be the best role model or the best example or the best at something fun when it’s just about a person who lives every day to make the world a better place.
15.- Kristin, what is your motivation, and what do you feel grateful for daily?
My motivation is when I wake up every day knowing that it’s not guaranteed and that I have all of my abilities still present at this moment that I can see here, talk, walk, move and drive.
I think it changed my life when I felt this way because I started to look at things that I had, and I started not to want them. I began to give stuff away because I was grateful for the basic things I was already doing daily. I’m thankful to breathe because without breathing, I wouldn’t be able to be the person I am, and sometimes it is just about taking your life and simplifying it because that’s what being grateful is. You can’t be grateful and unhappy.
16.- Kristin, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to learn and which places do you recommend visiting from China?
I would love to go to China. I love the great wall of China, and I love its history of it; however, I have been to Japan. I’ve been to Indonesia. I have been to the United Emirates, but the country that has my heart is Indonesia love my people there, and I can’t wait to return soon.
17.- Kristin, your last words or final tips
I will be writing more books as my time goes on in life. The more wisdom that I get from others I want to get as many resources to others and get people thinking the same way as possible to know that there’s more out there for them, that things can change for them, that things are possible for them because I have started with nothing I have had something that has failed. My failures have shaped me to be a person full of gratitude and appreciation that it’s not guaranteed to you when you do make it. Still, your heart is what made it possible because God loves you; God makes it possible.
I want to also give a big shout-out to my friends and family for their support and love. This is why I do what I do for you guys, and you guys make every day possible you guys all know who you are, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunities that you all have given me because this life is all about you guys and people so thank you as always for your love and support.
