1.- Katherine ,tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Russia, in a small city called Penza. It’s not as big as Moscow, but it has its own history, great famous people, and attractions. I love my hometown because it’s cozy and my parents live there. despite living abroad and traveling a lot, I visit my hometown quite often.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
I enjoy surfing; it makes me stronger and braver, and I meet many new people through it. Additionally, I’m interested in fashion and love spending time shopping at vintage or secondhand stores to find something unique and special. Actually, I’m an introvert, and staying at home watching films, reading books and spending time with my family brings me a lot of joy.
3.-International Model. When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
Modelling has been following me since my childhood; everyone kept telling me, “Kat, you have a big future in modeling; you should try that.” But I took my first steps at 20, when I came to Bali. It was the perfect place to start because there are a lot of talented and enthusiastic people here. Of course, I find satisfaction and express my creative potential in my professional path, but I also don’t want to hide that I have many fears and doubts. By overcoming these difficulties, I become more fulfilled and happy.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Katherine in each activity carried out as a model?
In every project I undertake as a model, my distinct, unique stamp is a blend of vibrant personality and a profound creative touch that enriches the collaborative process. Beyond the conventional expectations of beauty and pose, I bring a lively spirit to photoshoots, infusing moments with humor, spontaneity, and song, only to seamlessly transition into deeply contemplative expressions that captivate the lens. This unpredictability in my posing makes me a dynamic subject, consistently surprising clients and colleagues with the range and depth of emotions I can portray. Moreover, my approach extends beyond mere posing; I actively contribute my creative vision to every project, suggesting new ideas and eagerly bringing them to life.
My involvement in crafting the image concept and styling not only enhances the output but also fosters a collaborative environment where creativity thrives. Clients appreciate this blend of playful engagement and serious commitment to artistry, recognizing me as a model who doesn’t just present an image, but significantly shapes the narrative of each shoot.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
Perseverance and belief in oneself
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I think that at this moment, I am only moving towards fame. Meanwhile, I have no goal to become an idol for anyone. My goal is to express and develop myself, attracting and inspiring people who are similar in spirit to me.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
I remember feeling very tense, worrying that I didn’t look perfect and concerned about what others thought of me.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think that social networks now have a colossal influence on people. They both help and harm at the same time. It’s like a chainsaw – a wonderful tool, but you need to know how to use it and what you want from it.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I enjoy interacting with my followers through posts, reels, and comments. I’m not the kind of person who likes to constantly film myself and talk in stories.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
For young people, I would advise writing down everything that prevents them from taking the next step and gradually dealing with it until there are no problems or questions left. As for parents, I would advise them to ask themselves whether they want happiness for their children. And to ask their children what happiness means to them.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion?
In the world of fashion, I’ve learned that authenticity and resilience are your greatest assets. Staying true to yourself amidst changing trends and bouncing back from setbacks not only define your path but also inspire those around you.
12.- Katherine , being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
For me, modeling hasn’t been a walk in the park. Sometimes, I find myself running low on energy towards the end of a photoshoot, or even starting with none at all. Working under challenging conditions, especially under the scorching sun on the beaches of Bali, can be particularly tough. Yet, it’s these very challenges that have taught me to harness resilience and find my inner strength, turning obstacles into stepping stones.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, certainly! I already have experience performing in theater and immersive show. Since Bali doesn’t have a suitable acting school for me, I plan to pursue acting more seriously as soon as I return to London.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women possess an extraordinarily rich potential, and the patriarchal world is increasingly recognizing this. I hope that the era of neglecting women will soon come to an end.
15.- Katherine , what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is driven by the awareness of time fleeting. I fear reaching old age with regrets about NOT living life in my way. Thus, I aim to tune in to my desires and needs. Daily, I’m thankful for the people in my life, particularly my husband, and for my own resilience and efforts to stay true to my path.
16.- Katherine , Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I do enjoy traveling, but not too often and not in a rush. I dream of visiting the African continent, Japan, Alaska, and Brazil. These are the most desirable. As for must-visit places in my country, I would definitely recommend starting with Moscow. It’s the most comfortable city to live in the world. Everyone knows that there is no better service than in Moscow.
