1.- Rose , tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

I was born in Harare, Zimbabwe. And moved to England when I was 6 years old and raised in a small town called Crawley in Sussex. I feel like both are my home town Harare is beautiful full of life and Crawley is quite and somewhat suburban it’s a nice blend.

2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?

My hobbies are travel and making other people laugh, I am bit of a joker my friends will say so, it’s usually me making others laugh and that brings me joy. I used to do athletics 100/200metres and 4×100 they taught me discipline, so I still watch athletics and get excited when the olympics come around.

3.- International Model – Miss Planet UK 2024. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?.

I started modeling when I was about 13, I was approached and kind of went from there, beauty pageants came around 16 and they helped my confidence in modeling and just personally due to the sisterhood. I like to take what my grandmother says about me “perseverance is her middle name” so I’ve always gone for any dream I dream off, I feel accomplished when I achieve them and I hope whoever is watching can have the same mindset. Miss Planet is a great platform as I’ve always wanted to work with the United Nations so I figured why not achieve this doing what I love. You can have both, you don’t have to limit yourself.

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of  Rose  in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?.

I’m fearless, focused and determined in both aspects you’ll never see less than 100% out of anything I do, but distinctly about me is my walk and aura, it’s always positive and that is infectious.

5.- What is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?.

Trust yourself and listen to your gut, it’s easy to fall through trapdoors, but your gut instincts will always tell you if the right choice is being made.

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be beauty queens? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?.

I am, I have a 5 year old daughter now, so I’m even more aware how important the message I send to young women is, but anyone who knows me will tell you, I’m always uplifting and never let anyone talk down on themselves. I despise that, and don’t allow anyone to make a negative image of themselves around me, It really bothers me because we’re all special in our own way, so what are your doing?. Would you say that to a 5 year old version of yourself?.

I like to hope other girls see me and dare to dream head on against fears or self doubt.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?

First time for me was later on as when I was younger social media had just begun so there aren’t a lot of videos but my biggest show was in Budapest, Hungary and that was empowering. I watch the videos back and I’m like wow that’s really me?. My first beauty pageant I came third and I was super proud of myself and it gave me confidence, that’s when I knew I was in the right place.

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?

I think social media can either make or break you, both in life and mentally. You have the power to reach the world in one simple post so I chose mine carefully, I don’t put on a fake lifestyle or persona what you see is what you get and I hope people follow me because they can relate, I’m not rich I come from humble background, I just have dreams and make them happen.

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? What’s your favorite social media?.

I post more personal content and thoughts on my Snapchat that’s more personal people feel I should make them longer for YouTube or something.

I love Instagram because it allows me to see what I want and keep in touch with more people in my industry and I love getting DM’s from girls who need advice.

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step?

What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents? What I always tell girls who approach me is, “nothing is impossible”, like I said I’ve set a precedent and that allows me to say look if I can why can’t you?.

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?.

I’ve learned it’s all about timing, if you work hard enough your time will come.

12.-  Rose , being a beauty queen for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?

It’s not always been easy, especially in pageants it’s financial challenges but, to have great support from family and friends, I’ve overcome obstacles by knowing when I can and when I can’t and never force anything.

13.- Artist, singer-songwriter,  When do you decide to take your first steps as a musical artist?.

I’ve always been around music my brother studied it in uni and I was always singing around the house, he eventually decided to record me one day and from then on I started my journey, I didn’t focus too much on it until COVID 19 hit and I had a lot of time and a small studio set up at home. It sort of just went from there and now I’m really suprised people like my music.

14.- What genre of music do you feel comfortable with, or do you like to sing??

I love all genres I listen to music in so many languages from so many different countries, music has always spoke to me regardless of where it came from geographically, I actually began rapping but, my producers heard me sing and said to me “why are you not singing?” I thought I had a good voice in the shower & my family and friends were just being nice until I released music of me singing and it did better than me rapping. Now, I love singing and I’m comfortable. I have an amazing producer who knows my sound now.

I love singing R&B but the world is limitless in my eyes so I’m open.

15.- Which artist would you like to share the stage with?

Oooh that’s tough, I’d love to work with Cardi and Nicki Minaj, but, I also really like Morgenstern, Bad Bunny & from my home country, I’d really love to work with Jah Prayzah or Kikki Badass to name a few.

16.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?

I have a long term goal, I definitely want to get into acting. The entertainment industry is a mix of good and bad but being creative, I’m in my element.

17.-  Rose , what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?.

My mother grew up without the opportunities I had and I’m motivated by having those opportunities and grateful to be in a position to chase my dreams. My mum always supports my dreams because she never had that so I don’t take anything for granted in that sense.

18.-  Rose , Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?

I’ve traveled a lot of Europe as they’re so close, but I’d really love to see more of Asia, Cambodia, Thailand, Indonesia those parts of Asia and South America, I’d love to see Colombia, Mexico, Peru & Brazil to name a few, from my country I recommend the Great Zimbabwe ruins and Victoria Falls ofcourse. As the UK is also home I recommend the Scottish highlands, North Wales and South England. We have beautiful places like Bath,  Brighton. Most of Kent is also beautiful.

London is great but I’m a small town girl so I love to see the history and older towns than main cities.

19.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.

20.-  Rose , your last words or final tips.

Who ever is reading this and daring to dream all I can say is. Don’t ever doubt yourself, go forward with all you do, that little voice in your head telling you can’t do something or be something, silence it.

Be motivated by a no turn it into a yes, when someone says “I don’t think you can do it”, it motivates me to prove them wrong. The only response to “you can’t”  is “Watch me”.

But…never lose who you are in the process stay grounded.
