At only 21 years of age, Jessica has made an indelible mark in the international modeling industry and in the field of philanthropy, proving that beauty goes far beyond the superficial.

Originally from South Africa, Jessica has captivated audiences around the world with her dazzling presence on runways and in beauty pageants, excelling as a finalist in the prestigious Miss New Zealand pageant and earning significant honors, such as Miss Kanorau Culture New Zealand, third place in Miss Kanorau New Zealand, and the congeniality award in the same pageant. Her stunning beauty has not only positioned her as one of the most beautiful women on the planet, but has also given her a platform from which to advocate for important causes and encourage positive change.

Beyond the lights of the runway, Jessica is a driving force in the world of social activism and charity. Committed to the well-being of her community and the world at large, she is active with two charities and devotes her time and energy to promoting health and sustainable development. Her passion for making the world a better place has led her to present sustainable development goals to the United Nations, demonstrating her commitment to building a more just and equitable future for all.

1.  Jessica, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

I was Born In South Africa and moved to Auckland, New Zealand when I was around 14 years old, My parents ultimately decided to relocate to give my siblings and I a safer life and upbringing for which I am deeply grateful.

 

2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?

My hobbies include drawing, painting, and photography. I am currently in the process of launching my own photography business, which features a series on body positivity, modeling, and pageantry. I am also a finalist for Miss New Zealand,with the finals of the competition scheduled for this Sunday which I am very excited for. Participating in the Miss New Zealand pageant has afforded me the honor of collaborating with two charitable organizations, “I Am Hope” & “BRAVE ” Working with these charities has been immensely rewarding. These organizations hold a special place in my heart due to their significant contributions to the youth of New Zealand, and I am truly humbled by the experience.

The true joys in my life are undoubtedly my family and my dog Caesar, who is practically my Kid.

 

3.- International Model, Miss New Zealand Finalist – Miss Kanorau Culture New Zealand- Miss Kanorau New Zealand-third runner up – Miss Kanorau New Zealand Congeniality. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?

I began my career in modeling and pageantry with my body positivity campaign aimed at challenging Societal standards of what is acceptable and encouraging others to transcend societal expectations and that you do not have to conform to others while I am committed and determined to continue in promoting this message additionally, I have recently initiated another campaign focused on sexual assault awareness, which aligns with my chosen United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of Good Health and Well-being.

This project is primarily designed to support sexual abuse survivors by collaborating with counselors and legal advisors to offer free assistance and support. Furthermore, the initiative will feature interactive forums with safeguarded anonymity for those who wish to share their experiences, along with peer support networks, and various interactive tools and activities to foster self-care. My ambition is for this platform to evolve into a crucial resource for survivors seeking support.

 

 

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Jessica in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?

I have always been dedicated and committed to helping others, advocating for mental well-being has been a fundamental aspect of my  From a charitable perspective, I support and contribute to several organizations, including the Cancer Society, Kids Cancer Society, New Zealand Down Syndrome Association (NZDSA), Saving Hope Foundation, I Am Hope, and Brave NZ. My parents have been significant influences in this regard, inspiring me to consistently strive to do as much as possible for others.

 

5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?

Thereare numerous facets to becoming a model, but the paramount importance lies in  Embracing your unique identity and showcasing diversity are highly valued in this industry. While challenges and pressures are inherent in the modeling world, your unique contributions and perspective are what truly distinguish you and can lead to lasting success.

 

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?

Promoting body positivity and serving as a positive influence for young girls andwomenhas been a cornerstone of my campaign.  Having personally struggled with body image issues, I understand the profound impact they can have on one’s self-esteem and confidence. I only hope to make a significant and lasting impact in self-acceptance and empowerment. 

A quote that I have always resonated with is “You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously.” This quote by Sophia Bush encapsulates the notion that embracing both our strengths and areas for growth is not only acceptable but essential. It emphasizes the recognition that perfection is an unattainable standard, yet within our individuality lies our true value.

 

 

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?

I was nervous to say the least, but I found myself surrounded by an incredible community of men and women, many of whom remain dear friends to this

 

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?

Social media, while offering numerous benefits, also exerts a significant influence on self-acceptance, body positivity, and societal conformity, particularly among young people. The pervasive nature of idealized images and lifestyles showcased on these platforms can breed unrealistic standards and erode self-esteem.

As part of my campaign, I aspire to address these challenges by fostering a culture of acceptance and empowerment. Through advocacy, education, and positive messaging, I aim to provide support and resources to counteract the negative effects of social media, encouraging individuals to embrace their unique identities and celebrate their inherent worth beyond superficial standards

 

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?

As a Miss New Zealand finalist with a strong commitment to charitable endeavors, I prioritize meaningful interaction with my followers on social media platforms. I utilize these channels not only to share updates on my journey but also to engage with my audience on topics that resonate with them. Through live Q&A sessions, interactive polls, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into my philanthropic efforts, I aim to foster genuine connections and inspire positive change.

 

 

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?

Myadvice is to persevere in your pursuits, whether they showcase your talents or simply bring you joy. Embrace your diversity, as it is what makes you uniquely valuable. Your aspirations hold significance, and with dedication, you have the potential to achieve remarkable things.

Every dedicated parent wants their children to thrive and succeed in  To reach this point, it’s imperative to offer unwavering support in every endeavor, no matter how fleeting it may seem. Children often explore various hobbies before discovering the one that authentically reflects their identity. By wholeheartedly backing your child’s pursuits, you not only nurture a strong bond but also instill values of self-discovery, diligence, and perseverance. This supportive environment cultivates a sense of resilience, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and determination.

 

 

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?

To not compare myself to anyone else, my biggest strength lies in my confidence and diversity. These attributes not only set me apart but also fortify me in navigating any challenges inherent in this field.

 

12.- Jessica, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?

This has certainly not been easy,this journey has presented its share of challenges, the first challenge was placing myself in the public eye and that’s not an easy thing to do, Nevertheless, I focused on why I was doing it in the first place. With the modeling aspect, visibility was crucial to support my body positivity campaign and for pageantry it was the commitment to my charitable endeavors that truly necessitated my unwavering dedication. Consequently, the obstacles, however formidable, paled in significance in comparison with the greater goals I aimed to achieve.

 

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?

Havingpursued drama and theater for a few years, my aspirations ultimately guided me down a different path instead I took to modeling and pageantry.

 

 

14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?

With my platform for United Nations Sustainable Goal of promoting good health and well-being, I firmly believe that supporting victims of abuse is paramount to effecting meaningful change. By championing initiatives aimed at providing resources,support systems, and empowerment opportunities for women in these societies, working towards a future where they are no longer subjected to such injustices.

I am committed to leveraging my platform and resources to drive tangible progress in this endeavor, and I am prepared to exhaust every effort to ensure that victims of abuse receive the assistance and justice they deserve.

 

15.- Jessica, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?

My motivation stems deeply from my family, their unwavering support and encouragementhave been integral to my  I am immensely grateful, as I recognize that without them, I would not be where I am today.

 

16.- Jessica, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?

I absolutely love to travel, I just wish I had the opportunity to do it more. Traveling through the West Coast of New Zealand is a must.  The breathtaking scenery truly captivates making it an essential destination for any traveler seeking natural beauty.
