1.- Thembeka, you were born inSouth Africa,What do you like about your hometown in South Africa?
What I like about my hometown is that we are united ,we believe that everything is possible, We shine in the dark, The past generation empowers the new generation and we believe in people’s talent we support them no matter what that because I love my hometown town South African and I am proud of being here in South Africa.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
My hobbies are modeling and motivating the new generation. What makes me happy is seeing a black child chasing her/ his dream believing in their self , motivating the new generation.
3.- Teen Model – When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
The first step i took as a model is meeting another models that already had more information and learning from them. I am proud of my self that I have achieved my dreams and being recognized as an influencer of women.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Thembeka in each activity carried out as a person and model?
The unique stamp I carried out as a person and a model is that I am being my self, I am not trying to be same one else ,in every activity I always represent the person who I am course no one can be me and I am so proud that i live my uniqueness behind.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue that any woman must have is confidence, it is believing in yourself and remember that everything is possible.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It is much more important to be an idol for many girls and teenager course I am empowering them to follow their dreams in life to not give up on them.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I was not scared the first time i modeled in front of the camera it because i believed in me I felt like I belong in the stage modeling is in my blood.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media today has a huge role in the teenagers today it because it where we meet new people, it where we find other models and communicate with them it where we sure case our talents.S ocial media it where we get an opportunity to sure case our beautiful talents.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Yes I love to interact with my followers because the are the ones that supports me here in social media.
My favorite social media is Facebook it is because we find many people from different countries that we can communicate with them and it is easier to be used.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
What I will say to young people whom have talents but not taking a step is that why are you not taking a step? you are too scared that it will not become the same way you wanted? How you are going to learn when you don’t go out and find people that are going to hlep you. It is better to fail while you tried , not everything will come to a silver plate you need to work hard. Fight make you dreams come true, if you fail never give up because F.A.I.L means “First Attempt In Learning ,if you feel down and think it is the End of everything you should know that E.N.D means “Effort Never Dies” and if you get NO from people you should know that NO means the next opportunity so follow your dreams and became the best version of yourself if you believe in yourself no one can stop you to accomplish your dreams.
And to a parent that is not supporting his/ her child talent i will say why are you not giving them are chance to live thier dreams and let them live the life they wanted. Surely you don’t what to be blame that you have blocked your children’s opportunity to life.it is better to let them try that living your life with the pain that you are the person whom stopped in your children’s success. Are support of are parent means alot to a child course not everyone is willing to be with you.Give your child an opportunity that you didn’t get and don’t stop them from doing what they make them happy also alive.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
What I have learned in the Fashion and Pageant industry it that modeling is not about winning it is about working together becoming are team, gaining confidence.It is not about the sasha and the crown it about valuing yourself, have self love and most of all is be yourself, being different from the others.
12.- Thembeka, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
For me becoming a model was easy course i was not the first person at home that become a model , I faced the obstacle but i overcomed them by praying to lord and by believing in myself.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes i have thought about acting, it is one of my dreams to be on television also on theater puting myself on someone else’s shoes.Yes I love to, to being notice for their good work I do and entertainmenting people is my thing.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
My opinion about the role of the woman in the future is to teach the future generations to not become abusers, to became a better version of them self is to not do the same mistake they did. It is to teach the future generations to help and to create better societies where no one is allowed to abuse.
15.- Thembeka, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation in life is that Loosing don’t means that you are a failer or losser but it means you are strong , power full and brave enough to fight for what is yours everything is possible even the world it self said” i am possible”
And what I am great full for everyday is that I still have life, an opportunity to achieve and accomplish my dreams.I still have time to do everything to became are role model to the generation of now and of the future.
16.- Thembeka, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from South Africa?
Yes I love to travel the country i know is South African my mother land , Countries I would like to visit are North America ,South America ,Keny,Lesotho, Swaziland. Are place I recommend to visit in South Africa is Kimberley ,It because Kimberley has it own natural beauty and is so beautiful.
17.- Thembeka, your last words or final tips
As Thembeka Maliehe former Miss Valentine 2019/2020 my last words are follow your dreams become the best version of your self , shine bright in the dark like a moon in the sky, believe in yourself ,be you and achieve , accomplish your dreams course everything is possible.
