1.- Shaye, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Raised in Auckland, New Zealand
I like how it humbles me and makes me more grateful for what I have.
The beautiful bond between kiwis – the funniest and the most welcoming people I’ve ever met.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
Singing, dancing and creating content that inspires and makes others laugh
3.-Influencer – International Model, Miss Australia People’s Choice 2023 – Internationally Published Cover Girl. When do you decide to take yourfirst steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
My first ever modelling shoot was when my dad got me into it, age 15-16. I restarted when I moved in Melbourne 2016.
Miss World Australia was the first pageant I entered in 2018.
I feel proud of myself being able to start and support myself alone the first times I started and feel like I’m very brave for taking these steps and going after what I want breaking the fear and anxiety of failure and the beauty standards that the industry usually holds today.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Shaye in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
The infectious energy and laughter I bring to all environment. Being my authentic self, having fun and creating memories whilst living in the present. Laughing and making others laugh is something I constantly want to bring and to attract.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Courage
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I have been told since high school I’m an idol and inspiration to a lot of girls and teens. It’s very important as young girls are very easily influenced and I’d love to be their motivation and inspiration for them to become the best version of themselves as I looked up to a lot of influential woman and models to help me become the woman I am today.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Anxious and shaky for both as I was a very self conscious young women until I reached my last years of high school – dancing helped me build a lot of confidence and for pageant I was very anxious until I stopped comparing myself to others..
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
It can either make or break you so I try to be very cautious and always try to be my authentic self and not be so consumed by it all. I try to expose for my raw self and my personality rather than just the good, luxurious life of an influencer and model.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Through DM, questions and polls. Instagram.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Go for it! Have fun – Change your mindset to rather how the experience will change your life rather than winning or being the best. And it’s better late than never!
Parents, let your kids imagination run wild – you’ll be amazed at how creative and talented your creation are, they’ll show you a side you’ll recognise in your self and make your proud.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
It’s all about confidence, the experience and the connections you make in this journey.
12.- Shaye, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
It has not been easy as I was always my worst critic and never thought I was good enough. It took a lot of networking and practice – the more shoots I did, the more confidence I gained. The biggest for me was affirmations, self development and discipline to get to where I am.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes! I have done a few short videos and That’s my end goal.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
As a woman who can relate to these women growing up in the religion and culture I was born into – it doesn’t stop but definitely gets easier when you are confident in your purpose and believe in your self – that’s why self improvement and self development is very important. You have to be secure enough so no one can break you.
15.- Shaye, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is my own vision of my future and the struggles and trauma I have overcome to become my best self and of course my family.
I am grateful for everything including good and bad that shaped me to be the person I am today.
16.- Shaye, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I love to travel. Ive been to Bangladesh, Thailand, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, New Zealand.
I’d love to know Morocco, turkey, Lebanon, Vietnam, America. I’d recommend Thailand and New Zealand.

18.- Shaye, your last words or final tips
This advice comes from my granddad who changed my perspective on everything.
Be romantic with life, whatever you do or put energy towards make sure you fall in love with it.
Tip- Put intention towards anything and watch the universe work in your favour.
