1.- Evi, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Russia in the Ural, my mother is Russian, and my father is half German. During my life, I managed to live in several countries; we left Russia when I was still very young. At the moment, my main and only city and home is the city of Zurich in Switzerland. I have lived here for almost 20 years, have a Swiss education and Swiss citizenship.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy
Some of my favorite hobbies is dansing, diving & snowboarding. This things give me the feeling of soul-freedom, wich makes me feel very happy. I also love to read books (last year i read more than 50 different books) and of course one of my favorite hobbies, wich already became my lifestyle – is travaling. I love traveling so much.
3.- International Model, TOP 10 Miss Europe Continental, Maxim Cover Girl Magazine 1st RU. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
The modeling world and fashion industry have always attracted me, since my childhood. At the age of 16, I finished modeling school and began working as a model for the first time. But this was more of my passion and hobby than a real professional activity. Later, at 23, I got married and gave birth to my daughter, and then I completely left the modeling world.
I continued to study and was engaged in business according to my main education (I have two higher educations: psychological and economic). And now, many years later, completely unexpectedly for myself, I returned to this industry again. My Instagram page, which I kept just for myself, was noticed by scouts and international managers who were actively looking for models for the beauty contests.
I received my first invitation to such a competition in August 2022. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to return to this sparkling world. Maintaining appearance and beauty at a decent level is not an easy job. Strict diets, strict regimens and grueling workouts are just part of what needs to be followed to stay in shape. I work hard on myself, and of course the positive results make me very happy and proud of myself.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Evi in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
All people are different and unique in their own way, this is what makes them different from each other. Therefore, I always remain myself in any situation. I am aware of my uniqueness and charisma, which only I have. My appearance, my style, my manner of behavior and conversation, it’s all mine, it’s all me – and this is my strength. I never try to be like anyone else.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
Of course, first of all, a woman who wants to become a Model or Miss needs to have the appropriate appearance, I think this is a very important, but not the only point. She must also know what she wants, follow her dream no matter what difficulties and know that her destiny is in her own hands. In this industry she needs to have a strong character and strong will. And be able to lose. Unfortunately, no one can always be first. But its important to always look up and strive for the championship!
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I realize that a large number of people are watching my life on social media. Sometimes I receive pleasant messages in which girls say that I am their motivator and thank me for it. It makes me very happy that I help other women to become better or more beautiful, as well as go towards their dreams and goals. I am pleased with this fact and I always try to become better to not disappoint my audience. It turns out that I motivate my virtual friends, and they motivate me 🙂
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a Video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I am a leader and extrovert person from nature, so photographers, filming and the stage are the things I adore. For me this is not something difficult, I am a fairly self-confident person and I take great pleasure in expressing myself in this world. Moreover, I know that I am a motivator for many women and this gives me superpower. In general, I think that I was born to shine brightl in this life 🙂
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think that social media, like the entire Internet industry, have a huge impact on our lives. this is our reality and our future. Don’t underestimate the power of social media, because if its used correctly, it is possible to achieve huge results with its help. Especially in the modeling, beauty and film industrie. Model scouts, international managers and various agencies actively use social media to search for new faces.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite social media is undoubtedly Instagram. This is the network which I use the most. I enjoy communicating on various topics with my followers. By the way, many of them became real friends for me. I am happy to share valuable advices, especially regarding the topic of appearance and beauty. I love Instagram and can’t imagine my life without it anymore.
Instagram has definitely become a part of my life. And I like it.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I always say that behind every child who believes in himself there is a parent who believed in him first. The support and faith of parents are very important for children; this lays a reliable foundation for the child to build a future. Therefore, my advice to all parents in this world is to support and believe in their children, even if it seems to them that their ideas are not feasible. Regarding young people who have talents, but do not dare to take the first step – guys, always believe in yourself!! Always, no matter what, even if you are the only one who believes in you. Our destiny is only in our hands and in this life absolutely anything is possible. Any huge story always begins with a small first step.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
The main lessons that I learned were to be able to control my emotions, to be patient and resilient, to be able to lose and rejoice in other people’s victorie, since someday others will rejoice at your victory, not to deviate from your path and never, under any circumstances, to give up!
12.- Evi, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
The world of beauty is sometimes a very cruel world and not always as fair as it may seem to us. But I never considered this an obstacle. My life motto goes like this: if one door closes in front of you, then 4 other doors will definitely open soon. And it will be better. Patience is the key.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Oh yes, I really like this industry. At one time I even dreamed of becoming an actress, but I never knew where to start. I am a very emotional and open person, I am an extrovert, I think I could become a great actress. Who knows where my road will take me next? Maybe this is still in front of me? :))
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think that progress will do its job and gradually women in all countries will become freer or completely free. I think that women should have the right to speak their own mind and enjoy all the privileges in business and everydays life on an equal basis with men if they want it. But I still believe that a woman should not turn into a man, she should remain a woman. I think that there is too much feminism in our world right now. Men are our strong side of humanity, they should take care of women, protect them and never abuse them.
15.- Evi, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I am very grateful for everything I have and for the fact that life has been very kind to me. I am incredibly happy that the people I love and who are very dear to me are alive, healthy and well. I know that many magical and happy moments are still infront of me and living these moments is my motivation. Also, every morning when I get out of bed, I know that today I will be better person than I was yesterday and this is my huge motivation.
16.- Evi, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Oh yes, most of all in this life I love to travel. I have traveled a lot in my life and have been lucky enough to visit many special countries. Discovering beautiful places, meeting new people and learning about their culture and customs are all things that make me very happy. My dream is to see a volcano erupt and look at penguins and polar bears in the wild. 🙂
Regarding my country, Switzerland – all winter sports lovers – be sure to visit the Swiss Alps in winter, because they are the best in the world for skiing and snowboarding. And the famous Swiss Fondue in winter – everyone simply has to try it at least once in their life :))
