1.- Edna, tell me about the city where you were born and raised.,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, I love my city very much, it is very interesting, it has many historical features and events that are important for my country, as well as many historical artistic souls. The city is mostly always full mostly in the summer when many tourists come and I really like to see that. Tuzla is also known for its source of salt, as well as the “Tuzlanska so” – “Tuzlas salt” packaging.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobby is training, gym and pilates but also running, where I am a member of the athletics team and I like to go once or twice a week and it gives me pleasure and relaxation with positive people. My very dear hobby that provides me with additional use of my potential is marketing, that way I express my creativity and thoughts, I also study at the university. All this completes my time and gives me additional opportunities, but sometimes I need a break from that too, so I like to go out with dear people to beautiful places and to travel, that’s my great passion.
3.-International Model. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided 4 years ago to start my modeling career, when I got the opportunity to participate in some competitions and it impressed me and I realized that this is the job for You have to love all that and passionately live with those things every day and then the roads will open. Today I am also an international model, which is really a great success for me and I am very happy. Modeling career like probably any other requires a lot of sacrifice, struggle, sacrifice, sometimes stress, and a lot of risk, but we always have to know what we want, only that can make us happy.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Edna in each activity carried out as a model?
I think it is very important, whatever you do, maybe especially modeling in this case, it isimportant to have uniqueness and something special by which you will be recognizable, and also to have a person as a role model who has already achieved great things, so definitely it should be your appearance, energy and Maybe even your name, sometimes.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
I think the main virtue that every girl should have as an international model is self-confidence, it’s kind of crucial to start from that because first of all we have to believe in ourselves and we have to be ready to work with different people, and of course I would mention the bodily predispositions that are crucial for the job of an international model.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
That it’s actually a very rich feeling when other people everywhere experience you as amodel, especially girls to whom I may be an inspiration, especially younger ones, but I try to be an inspiration in everything I do and to present it in a beautiful way, so it’s also an honor for me if I serve as an excellent inspiration for some girls to start their career, therefore I also get more motivation to work harder on my career when I see that it is recognized somewhere.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
It was a wonderful feeling and I want everyone to experience the feeling of achieving their goals, it was a feeling full of satisfaction, even greater motivation, happiness and it’s still like that every time I’m in front of the camera, every time it fills me up and then I feel like I’m right where I need to be and that’s it.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I believe that today social networks are very important and that without them it is almostimpossible to build a career. Each person will first find us on Instagram or another social network and rate us that way. The obligation is actually to have a good Instagram or other account because that’s how we present ourselves as models and personalities. Today it is something different, with the help of social networks it is much easier to find brands, clients or models than it was many years ago.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Actually I really like to interact with my followers on social media, my favorite social media is Instagram and that’s where I’m most active and spend a lot of my time, I like to have good photos on Instagram, I like to interact with my followers by posting stories, mostly every day I have them, I like to make aesthetic and beautiful stories, sometimes I make polls or questions in the Instagram options, something that will intrigue the followers as well as PR advertisement that I also do for some brands.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would tell every young person who has the talent or desire for this job to just take thefirst step and not be afraid of the outcome or other people’s comments because that is irrelevant in the whole process, the most important thing is that you are happy because you are doing what you love and with effort, struggle and desire, you cannot have a bad result because many doors will open for you, I can promise that, and also a very important thing through all this is our parents, I would also like to recommend parents to just let their children start creating their career if they want it, it will strengthen them incredibly, they will be happy, and that is the most important thing for every parent, and one day they can only be proud of their children.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
Very important lessons that I have learned so far in my modeling career through work and competitions, and I believe there will be more, is that we just have to be persistent in our goals, we have to be constant and remind ourselves how much we want it and what we have been through now in order to be where we are, we have to protect our reputation because it is very important, we should review every step in modeling and we should know that we always work with different Personally, this job has greatly strengthened and changed my character. Taught me how to deal with many situations that come my way.
12.- Edna, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
I believe that what I currently have and what I have achieved so far was really not easy, itrequired a lot of sacrifices, risks, a lot of struggle and stress through it all, and most of all time for everything, because no one built a career overnight, of course there were various an obstacle, I will agree, many tears were shed, at first even those closest to me did not support me in everything I wanted to achieve, but as time went on, after they saw that I could do it, and then somehow everything fell into place. The most important thing in everything is not to lose your desire and motivation and just follow through on what you want, because it is quite normal to go through difficult things while building a career.
13.- You are actress? Do you like the entertainment industry? Do you prefer television, theatre, cinema?
Yes, I actually really like acting and shooting, I found that out when shooting a fewscenes for certain films and series where I had short dialogues or appearing in the scene, it actually gives me a very nice feeling and I can show my energy even more. I think that modeling is somehow closely related to acting, for example, taking into account the world scene, we will see many famous people who are models and actors and that is really a Maybe I would like to realize myself as such one day.
14 – What kind of characters do you like to play or feel most comfortable playing?
Mostly I found myself in such scenes where I show my emotions towards something,fascination or admiration or simply just appearing through the scene, for example an elegant femme fatale.
15.- Which famous artist would you like to perform with or share the stage with?
Maybe Iwould choose the american actor Noah Centineo.
16.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think that women today are quite free and have much more opportunities than they didmany years ago and before the feminist movement itself, which meant for the future of women, and I think that the future in certain spheres should not be a problem.
17.- Edna, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is my past success. Every day the things that I have done so far give mestrength and motivate me to continue because I see how much I can achieve. All the bad things that I went through and took risks are also my motivation today that I just need to keep going because nothing is impossible, and certainly yes I would agree that I am grateful every day with the things I have achieved, it is an incredible and very important thing to be grateful every day for everything and to analyze what we are doing and how happy we really should be.
18.- Edna, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
As I already mentioned, traveling is my great passion and maybe even a hobby. I reallylike traveling, sometimes with close people, sometimes alone, which makes me very fulfilled because in most cases it is because of my work, it is mostly an integral part of my work. I have mostly visited a lot of countries, but I would like to single out Turkey, specifically Istanbul, which has a special place. In the coming period, I would like to visit America and Italy, and Zanzibar is one of the summer Regarding destinations in my country, I would suggest the city of Mostar with the old bridge, which has historical significance and is a tourist attraction, Blagaj, which is nearby, and of course Sarajevo and Baščaršija, which has all the traditional things.
