It is an honor to present from the Czech Republic, Nela Slivková, Journalist, Model, Beauty Queen, Miss Globe Photogenic 2022, Miss Globe Czech Republic 2022, TOP14 Miss Czech Republic 2022. Nela grants me an unmissable interview and we know her now!!!
Welcome Nela Slivková!!!
1.- Nela, you were born in Czech Republic, What do you like about your hometown in Czech Republic? What are your hobbies?
What I like most about my country is probably our patriotism. Czech people can be really stubborn, but If something goes really wrong, we are able to stick together and support each other. I think its because of our difficult history. My hobbies are mostly sport activities, dancing and writing, but also explore new interesting places and traveling.
2.- What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
It can be a lot of things. My family, dog, friends, but even a good movie or long bath. Nowadays it’s really important stay positive and have healthy mindset.
3.- Model , Beauty Queen, Miss Globe Photogenic 2022, Miss Globe Czech Republic 2022, TOP14 Miss Czech Republic 2022, When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I am doing modeling with some pauses from my twelve years until now. But when you start at this young age, it’s not easy, because you don’t really know what you wanna become. I remember I should go to China do model work, but I was too young and a bit scared and my mum didn’t allow it. I wonder what will happen when I go there for two months, maybe I would become someone else…As for the beauty pageants, I’ve always like the concept of this shows. Beautiful, strong, independent women with nice hair and dress who aren’t afraid of their voice. I try to win at two czech beauty competitions. At one I was one of the TOP10, but the pageant had to be cancelled due to pandemic covid-19. In the second pageant I ended as TOP14. I was a bit sad I couldn’t make it to the TOP10, but it is still a big success for me. It follows that you should never be scared about anything and try it. I wouldn’t say I am recognized influencer woman, but it’s a nice vision… Maybe I can be a role model for some girls and influence them….
4.- Young journalist- Do you like the entertainment industry? Are you more oriented towards investigative journalism as a reporter, being a TV Host or a written press?
I would say it’s like a rollercoaster in medial industry. Sometimes it’s such a hard work and so many information I just need to take a break and doing nothing, just relax. But as a journalist, I think I do a service for our society and that’s a good thing to do. What I would like to do the most is a TV Host. My big dream is also write and public my own books, for example some thriller series…
5.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Nela in each activity carried out as a person, journalist and model?
It’s probably peace. I try to solve everything with peace, because my nature is calm.
6.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be a model?
Faith in yourself
7.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I haven’t thought about this yet. To be an idol for someone is such a nice thing, but it comes with responsibility. You have to act polite, show young girls good manners, be always nice and beautiful. But it’s also necessarry be autentic and don’t copy. You can ibe inspired by someone, but it still have to be you.
8.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I don’t remember the very first time, but I remember our first photoshooting in Miss Czech Republic. I wasn’t feel confident about myself that day and the photos showing it quite properly. It’s all experience and every this moment makes me stronger. You always have to believe in yourself, there is no other way how you can make it.
9.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
That is a good question. The power is huge and still raising. Sometimes all social media scare me….But it also have a positive impact. You can connect with people around the world. Without social media I never know your journal.
10.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I have Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. I mainly use Instagram, because there I have the most followers. I like to share with them my daily activities through posts, stories or reels.
11.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
It’s natural that young people are scared. You have to leave your comfort zone. But the best things in life starts when you leave it. Parent’s who don’t support their children’s talents should focus on their children more, but there is a lot of other questions…. It’s not always that easy. There can be for example financial reasons….
12.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I used to be sad when someone didn’t like me. But you have to face it. Everytime there will be someone who do not like you and that’s completely ok. Your biggest supporter is you.
13.- Nela, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
It wasn’t easy at all. It’s a completely different world. It’s rough and you can’t expect kindness from everyone. But I am my own filter or have some kind of a „bubble“ and I can „defense“ myself. I think it’s really important. I had obstacles with my body vision, my confidence, my imperfections…but sometimes the imperfections helps you to stand out. So you can turn it and make it your weapon. What also helps me a lot is for example social detox, spending time with my family and friends or sport activities. But I also think it’s a bit about your nature. If you have a hard shell, something just won’t put you down….
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I trully hope women in these societies will aquire more power in the future. I truly hope more women will get education and respect.
15.- Nela, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is a vision of greater life than I have now. That’s my speed. But I am grateful for everything that I have now. I mean my family, home. That I am healthy and have a full fridge and bed when I can sleep. You can think that’s absolute normal, but for a lot of people our normal life is their dream. We should think about this more.
16.- Nela, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from Czech Republic?
Yes, traveling is my passion. In Europe I know Austria, Italy, Albania, Bulgary, France, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Spain and Croatia. Outside Europe I was in Cape Verde Islands and Thailand. I definitely wanna see Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia, Dominican Republic and Maledives. It’s a lot of places, but life is long. In Czech Republic its a lot of must-see places too. I would recommend the Prague old town, where is for example famous Charles Bridge, Prague castle and St. Vitus Cathedral. Prague is really lovely, romantic city, especially in winter time.
