Lauren Jordan steps into the international spotlight as one of the most authentic and inspiring voices of Ms Shapely Australia Regency 2026. Born in the charming city of Hobart, Tasmania, and now based in the vibrant heart of Melbourne, Victoria, her journey reflects a powerful contrast between peaceful beginnings and the fast-paced energy of a city where dreams are chased fearlessly. But Lauren is far more than a beauty queen — she represents resilience, inclusion, and genuine empowerment.
Since taking her first steps into pageantry in 2022, Lauren has remained committed to breaking barriers and redefining beauty standards. As the passionate voice behind Mental Matters Australia, she raises awareness about mental health and neurodivergence, openly sharing her lived experience with Schizoaffective Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Her message is simple yet powerful: knowing your worth can change your entire path.
In this exclusive interview for Perumira Global Talent Magazine, we uncover the woman behind the crown — real, courageous, and determined to inspire a new generation.

1.- Lauren, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Hobart, Tasmania. I have lived in multiple states around Australia throughout my life but I’m currently living in Melbourne, Victoria. Tasmania is the small island at the bottom of Australia, it’s a quiet place to live but I prefer the business of Melbourne.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I collect sauishmallow toys! I am basically just one big kid.
3.- Ms Shapely Australia Regency 2026. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I first started pageants in 2022 however I had been following them for much longer. I always had the dream to attend The Regency International Pageant and I’m so excited to finally be able to live my dream and not only represent my country but also other people who are plus size like myself.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Lauren in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I truly care about what I do. I love helping my community, I love raising money and creating awareness regarding mental health and neurodivergent conditions through my platform Mental Matters Australia. As someone who lives with Schizoaffective Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder I always try to stand tall regardless of my disability.

5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
100% know your worth and your value.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I think it’s hugely important because you don’t see a lot of people like me around. Whether we are talking about my clothing size or my disability. I am proud of who I am and I like to show people everywhere that you can achieve your dreams no matter what, as long as you believe in yourself.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Nervous! I have gained so much more confidence these days, but at first I was a nervous wreck! I am grateful for those who have helped shape who I am today.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think social media is a very powerful tool. It’s a great way to meet people and learn new things.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love Instagram, I feel like it’s a great way to find likeminded people. I also have a Facebook page that I post on for people who don’t use Instagram but want to see what I’m upto.

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
For the young people: reach for the stars! If you have the passion, go for it! For the parents: You should relish in your child’s passions and talents. Nurture them!
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I would say the most important thing I have learnt is that your size and disability does not define you, it’s what makes you a very unique person.
12.- Lauren, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
It has come with lots of challenges but I’ve had many great people by my side along the way who have lifted me up on my bad days and cheered me on.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Back in the day when I was still in school I wanted to pursue acting. It was a dream, but I’m pretty content with not doing it now.
14: Lauren, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I am grateful for being alive. I’ve had a few near death situations so I am just grateful for simply being here on earth.
15: Lauren, your last words or final tips
I hope there are people out there who see my story and feel inspired to live their lives the way they want to. Continue reaching for the stars, because as a good friend once told me “dreams don’t have deadlines.”
