1.- Nicole, congratulations on being crowned Miss Face of Humanity Australia 2026. What did this moment mean to you personally and emotionally?

The moment felt like a dream come true. For years, I had aspired to become the next Miss Australia, and achieving this goal was a powerful reflection of my hard work, dedication, and commitment to the world of pageantry.

2.- After competing at the Prestige Pageants Australia National Finals, how did it feel to finally achieve your dream of becoming Miss Australia?

The experience was truly incredible. Prestige Pageants Australia hosted an exceptional National Finals, and being part of it meant so much to me. From the beginning to the end of finals week, the journey helped me grow, build confidence, and ultimately achieve one of my lifelong dreams

The crowning moment was especially meaningful, as my friends were in the audience cheering me on with such enthusiasm. It made the occasion even more memorable to be crowned alongside my roommate, Maia Diaz, who is the current Miss Globe Australia 2026.

3.- You’ve spoken openly about being diagnosed with ASD in 2013. How has this shaped your resilience and perspective on life?

Being diagnosed with autism has given me a deeper understanding of how my mind works and the unique strengths I bring. It has taught me resilience in the face of challenges, while also empowering me to use my voice and step into leadership. I am proud to advocate for the neurodivergent community, particularly within the pageantry space.

4.- In what ways has your journey helped you redefine common perceptions around disability and capability?

It has been incredibly rewarding to show the world what people with a hidden disability can achieve, regardless of the challenges they may face. By pursuing my goals and participating in pageantry, I hope to break down stereotypes and inspire others to recognise that a hidden disability does not define a person’s potential. I want to demonstrate that with determination, hard work, and self-belief, anyone can accomplish their dreams and make a meaningful impact in their community and beyond.

5.- What message do you hope young people, particularly those with ASD, take from your story?

Never stop believing in your dreams, and always pursue them regardless of what society may think. If you truly believe in yourself, take the leap and give it your all. The worst that can happen is that you don’t succeed right away—but with persistence, determination, and resilience, you can keep striving until you achieve what you have set your heart on.

6.- Your academic and sporting achievements are remarkable. How did these experiences influence your confidence and discipline?

It made me realise that hard work and dedication can lead to meaningful success. By consistently putting in the effort to be my best, I have been able to achieve goals I once only dreamed of. It has also strengthened my confidence, encouraging me to step outside my comfort zone and embrace new opportunities.

7.- How do you balance personal growth with the responsibilities that come with wearing a crown on an national/international stage?

I prioritise staying organised and maintaining a clear overview of my daily schedule. I approach each day with focus, taking things one step at a time, and ensure I manage my commitments carefully to avoid overextending myself.

8.- Community involvement is a big part of your life. What motivates your commitment to fundraising and advocacy work?

Giving back to the community and making a difference is incredibly important to me. It motivates me to know that, through my efforts, I can contribute to creating a more positive and supportive environment. Fundraising is also a meaningful way to support the community and various charities, allowing me to make a broader impact and help create a brighter future.

9.- Can you tell us more about your connection to NCBF and why this cause is so close to your heart?

The National Breast Cancer Foundation is very close to my heart, as my family has a history of breast cancer. I have been fundraising for the charity for the past three years, raising over $3,000 to support vital research and contribute to the goal of achieving zero deaths from breast cancer.

10.- What does the concept of “humanity” represent to you in today’s world?

Humanity means being a changemaker in today’s world, leading with purpose and using your voice to advocate for what you are passionate about. For me, it means championing the neurodivergent community and working towards greater recognition, inclusion, and understanding on a global scale. I strive to be a role model, helping to inspire and empower the younger generation to feel seen, valued, and confident in who they are.

11.- How do you plan to use your platform to create meaningful social impact during your reign?

My platform is focused on raising awareness of neurodiversity within pageantry and beyond. I aim to be a role model for neurodivergent individuals, showing them that they can pursue their dreams and have someone to look up to. Through my advocacy, I hope to inspire confidence, visibility, and empowerment for the neurodivergent community.

12.- Representation matters. How important is visibility for women with diverse abilities in global pageantry?

Visibility is extremely important, as it reflects my daily life and who I am as an individual. Today, pageantry is increasingly recognising the importance of visibility for hidden disabilities, and I hope to continue promoting this awareness in pageants around the world.

13.- What leadership qualities do you believe are essential for a titleholder in an international competition?

A titleholder should be compassionate and serve as a strong voice for the community. They should give back consistently and be someone younger generations can look up to. Additionally, a titleholder should act as a proud ambassador for the pageant, representing its values with integrity and dedication.

14.- As someone who embraces challenges, how do you stay motivated when faced with setbacks?

I always remind myself that a setback is simply a redirection toward where I need to be. Setbacks are never the end. They are opportunities to learn, grow, and keep striving until I achieve my goals

15.- How has your family or support network contributed to the woman you are today?

They have guided and supported me in pursuing my dreams and goals. Whether I win or face challenges, they remain by my side, offering encouragement every step of the way. Their guidance has helped shape who I am today and the positive impact I strive to make in my life and the lives of others.

16.- What role does authenticity play in your public image and communication with your audience?

Your public image should always remain respectful and appropriate, as young children may be viewing your online presence or looking up to you as a role model. It should reflect who you truly are and showcase your core values and beliefs. The same standard applies to communication, which should always be courteous, professional, and respectful.

17.- Looking ahead to the international competition, what are your main goals and aspirations?

For the international stage, my main goal is to remain completely authentic to myself while giving 100% of my energy and effort throughout the competition. I want to remind myself that, no matter the outcome, I have worked hard, stayed true to my values, and represented Australia with pride.

18.- How do you prepare mentally and emotionally for representing Australia on a global stage?

One of the most important practices for me is keeping up with my daily journal, which helps ensure my mind is in the right space for the international competition. I also focus on staying calm, centered, and prepared at all times to perform at my best.

19.- What experiences from your life have most influenced your passion for making a difference?

I want my life experience to serve as an inspiring story for others. I aim to be the role model I wish I had growing up, so that younger girls with hidden disabilities can look up to me and feel empowered. By sharing my journey, I hope to inspire confidence, resilience, and ambition in the next generation.

20.- In your view, how can pageantry evolve to create deeper social impact worldwide?

Pageantry has the power to inspire and create change, and it can evolve further by giving greater visibility to hidden disabilities. Many people face challenges that aren’t immediately seen, and platforms like pageants can help break down misconceptions, celebrate their strengths, and encourage inclusion. Initiatives like the Hidden Sunflower movement show how highlighting neurodiversity and hidden disabilities can make a real social impact and visibility aorund the world.

21.- What does success look like for you at the end of your reign?

To me, success means achieving the goals I set during my year of reign, making a meaningful difference, contributing to the growth of pageantry, and serving as a positive role model. If I can accomplish these, it would represent the fulfillment of the reign I have always dreamed of.

22.- If you could start one global initiative tomorrow, what would it focus on and why?

My goal is to expand my platform into a global initiative that brings together neurodivergent individuals from all corners of the world, especially within the pageantry community. I want to create a space where people can connect, share their experiences, and support one another in pursuing their dreams.

23.- What legacy would you like to leave as Miss Face of Humanity Australia 2026?

The legacy I hope to leave is that of a girl who dreamed big and never gave up. Someone who stayed true to herself and never let anyone define her goals. I want to be remembered as a positive influence, making a meaningful impact and serving as a role model for the neurodivergent community.
