Welcome Elaina Braverman!!!!
1.- Elaina, you were born in Russia ,What do you like about your hometown in Russia?
I don’t remember much about Russia as I was only 3 years old when I moved to the U S.
What are your hobbies?
I love to do art, make and design custom picture frames and paint.I also enjoy taking long walks on the beach.
What makes you laugh alot or gives you a lot of joy?
My Mom makes me laugh a lot. She’s very funny and my two cats give me a lot of joy. I have a red tabby named Mandy and a grey and white tabby named Smokey. I love them both!
2.- Currently in USA, What do you feel for USA, its people and its culture?
I love the USA, its people and its culture. I think we have a lot more freedom here than in other countries and I am very grateful for that and to my parents for adopting when I was a toddler.
3.- Model , When did you decide to take your first steps as a model?
I was about 14 when I started modeling in New York Fashion Week. I loved doing it and have been walking the runway in NY Fashion week ever since.
What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I feel proud and happy being able to fulfill my dreams of being a model and actress as well as an influencer. I love beauty and fashion! I also enjoy acting and recently had principal roles in two independent films that should be released soon.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Elaina in each activity carried out as a person and model?
I think that what makes me stand out as a person is that I am very kind to everyone I meet and I never judge a book by its cover. As a model I think I stand out because of my blonde hair and confident walk on the runway as well as my smile.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
Confidence is key and to love what you do, because if you love what you do you will be successful at it.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I think it’s really important to be a good role model for young girls in general as well as those who want to be models. I don’t drink or smoke, I eat healthy and I am hard-working and kind. I think these are all good traits to have to be happy and guarantee success in any business, especially the modeling world.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
I had a good feeling modeling in front of the camera and learned to play to the camera when possible. I feel very comfortable in front of the camera.
What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
My first time at a beauty pageant I had so much fun! I wasn’t nervous. I came in 1st runner up. I got more confident as I competed in other pageants and won several.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think that social media can be great because you can reach a lot of people and connect with family and friends. It’s also a good way to promote brands I like and share them with my followers.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media?
Whats your favorite social media? I love interacting with my friends and fans on social media. I prefer Facebook but also use Instagram. I prefer comments vs direct messaging.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step?
Get training and try to find an agent. Don’t give up on your dreams.
What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Parents need to support their children’s dreams and passions for them to be successful.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
In fashion I’ve learned to be serious about my craft and to work hard. In beauty pageants I learned how to focus on doing my best and not to worry about the competition. I’ve also made close friends doing both pageants and modeling.
12.- Elaina, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
I had obstacles being a model because I am petite but certain brands didn’t care about my height. I did a national ad campaign for Maxim Hygiene launching their new lingerie line and that was fun.
13.- Elaina, are you an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry? Do you like theather, cinema or TV?
Yes I am an actress. I love acting in films and on TV. I worked on the movie “The Greatest Showman” and that is how I got my Screen Actors Guild card. I have supporting roles in two upcoming feature films Saving Ana and Sweet 18 so I am excited about that and have another movie project planned.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think that many societies still don’t offer women equal rights as men and that needs to change. Women make major contributions to society in all fields
15.- Elaina, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I am motivated to succeed and I am grateful everyday for my family and friends.
16.- Elaina, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from the USA?
I very much enjoy traveling to warm places like the Carribean. I recommend Nassau, St Martin and the Bahamas. In the US I love traveling to Orlando, Florida
