She is simply the «Sun of Canada», her beauty, talent, leadership and professionalism are evident and admired by everyone.
Her charisma and firm personality make her one of the women with the most beauty titles in her country, radiating sweetness and freshness.
It is an honor to present again the beautiful Dominique Doucette, graduate in Industrial Relations and Human Resources advisor, Miss Canada 2015, Miss Teen 2015 and today Miss Universe Canada 2020 Finalist.
Dominique gives us an updated interview, she has been with us since September 29, 2019 and today we know more about our Canadian queen.

- Miss Teenager 2015 (Miss Photogenic Universe 2015)
- Duchess of Lévis for the Quebec Winter Carnaval 2018
- Those are the only pageants that I did. I only lost the Miss New Brunswick Pageant.
- I have a bachelor in Industrial Relations. I work as a Human Ressources specialist in a company in Quebec city.
1.- Dominique , you were born in Canada ,What do you like about your hometown? What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
I love the food and the seafood. I love the mountain and the wild life part of my hometown. We have snow and different weather types. I love that the people from New-Brunswick are really heartwarming.
I think I found something to laugh in every situations in life. But spending time with my friends and traveling is the best memories I have.
2.- Are you degree in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Advisor? Why did you decide to embrace this profession? What do you like most about your profession?
3.- Model , beauty queen, Miss Canada 2015 & and winner of Miss Teenager Universe 2015 When do you decide to take your first steps as a model, beauty pageants and beauty queen? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized woman today?
I decide to start the pageantry in my hometown called Campbellton in 2014. I decide to take a step on stage to have a role in differents organisations and to raise fund for many causes.
I am very proud and very happy that I achieve my dreams and that a lots of young girls look up to me.
6.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Dominique in each activity carried out as a person and model?
I think that I’m very candide and I’m always really honest. I also a good analyse when I met someone new so it’s easy to figure my place in a group.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I was really young, so I was not nervous at all. Even today, I enjoy being on stage.
I think I felt overwheld in my first pageant about how much knowledge and intelligent the girls were. I think that I learn to really empowered each other and how good it felt to learn about every contestant.
9.- What do you think about the power of social networks today?
I think it’s the key to succes. Either in my career and in my social life it’s really important to help around because you never know when you will need help and from who. I was raised to always be nice with everyone, and today I couldn’t agree more how this value means to me. If I can inspire someone, help them out, give them advise or only mention how grateful I am to be in contact I do it as often as I can.
10.- Whatt would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I think that every time you fail, it is what create your caracter. I wish my children fail a few time, so they learn that not everything is granted. I think when you fail you become even better, so I think everyone need to have failures. When something bad happen you enjoy the good time even more. I think that support is the main reason why I got a beautiful path in the pageantry. But I hope girl that you will follow your dreameven if your parents doen’t support you.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
Don’t get caught up with the trend and with what people told you a beauty queen should be. Don’t be a copy! Be Beautiful your own way and that’s why you will be a perfect representative for your town or your country!
12.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think that in a few years we won’t even talk about it. I hope in 10 years it won’t be an issue anymore. I think we need to continue to fight and one day it will only be an old story. We need to stick togetheras woman and we need to stop being jealous of other womens because we are scared she gonna steal our position. We need to work with each other to steal man’s place!
13.- Dominique , what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I feel grateful for everything. I feel grateful for being here, for having a job but most importantly I feel grateful for my family.
14.- Dominique Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from the Canada, your country?
I Love to travel! I went to Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Italia, United States ( New-York, Florida, California, Maine, Massachusset, Louisiana and many mores), Panama, Cuba, Republic Dominican, Guatemala, etc.
I traveled a few provinces in Canada too.
The next trip on my list are Greece, Peru, Hawaï.
The whole country is wonderful, but I have a preferences for the Atlantic provinces since I was born and raise on the east coast of Canada.
