Zahlia 4Inclusion @zahlia4inclusion,

In this exclusive interview with Perumira, we meet Zahlia Wilson-Scott, a proud Miss Teen Galaxy Australia National Finalist 2026 whose story is defined by resilience, purpose and heart. Raised in outer Brisbane, Zahlia grew up in a low socioeconomic area and faced challenges early in life, yet she has always seen her hometown as a place of beauty, strength and identity. Those experiences shaped her determination and grounded outlook on life.
Balancing school, study and work, Zahlia enjoys simple moments that bring her joy — experimenting with makeup, listening to music and unwinding with movies. These quiet passions allow her to recharge while staying connected to her creative side.
Zahlia began her pageant journey at just eight years old, inspired by her older sister. While others moved on, her passion only grew stronger. Today, she finds deep fulfilment not only in pursuing her dreams, but in giving back to her community, supporting young people, and advocating for disability awareness and inclusion. As a young woman living with multiple health conditions, Zahlia proudly embraces her scars as symbols of resilience, strength and survival.
What truly sets Zahlia apart is her commitment to showing others that difference is not a limitation. Through kindness, courage and authenticity, she uses her platform to inspire young girls and boys to believe in themselves, understand that winning isn’t everything, and recognise that personal growth matters more than comparison.
1.- Zahlia, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

I started pageants at the age of eight almost 10 years ago, it’s actually a funny story on how it started, my older sister started them and of course as the younger one i looked up to her and begged my mum relentlessly to let me do them aswell but while my sisters love died mine lived on and will continue to.
I feel the upmost joy, i love giving back to my community and i love making a difference to the young girls and boys i meet, i know what it was like to be nervous. Resilience, power and strength. But also kindness, love and caring

It hasn’t always been easy, i have scoliosis and from 2023-2025 i had surgery every year and even one that left me in a wheelchair for 9 months, but that never stopped me from getting on stage. This is such a deep topic for me. As an English Australian woman i have always felt sorrow for the children and families of affected families.
