1. – Tessa, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Weurt, a small town in the Netherlands. What I love most about Weurt is the peacefulness and the natural surroundings. There’s something so comforting about the open fields, forests, and quiet streets. It feels like a great place to relax and recharge, but it’s also close enough to bigger cities like Nijmegen.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My main hobbies are horseback riding and dancing. I also love spending time with friends and family those little moments together always make me laugh and feel happy.
3.- International Model – Miss Teen of Gelderland 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided to take my first steps into modeling and beauty pageants when I was about 15. It was something I had always dreamed of, but I didn’t feel confident enough to pursue until then. Now, as a finalist for Miss Teen of Gelderland, it feels surreal. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. It motivates me to keep pushing forward and to inspire others to follow their dreams as well
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Tessa in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I think my uniqueness comes from staying true to myself. I’m not afraid to show who I really am, whether I’m on stage, in front of the camera, or just interacting with others. I bring positivity, and a love for the things I do, and I think that shines through in everything I do.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
I believe the most important virtue for an international model is confidence. You have to believe in yourself, your abilities, and your worth. Confidence is what allows you to take on challenges and remain grounded in an industry that can sometimes be tough.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I am aware that I can be an influence on others, and it means a lot to me. Being a role model is an incredible responsibility, and I take it seriously. It’s important to me to show young girls that they can achieve their goals, no matter how big their dreams are. I want to be someone who encourages others to believe in themselves and their talents.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled in front of a camera, I was nervous but excited. It felt like an incredible opportunity, and once I got into the rhythm, I felt free and empowered. This is my first beauty peagent. It’s very excited. You meet new girls. You make new friends and you learn to be yourself and to be confident.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media today is a powerful tool. It’s a way to connect with people from all over the world, to share your story, and to influence change. It can be used to spread positivity, inspire, and create communities. But it’s also important to use it responsibly and be mindful of how it affects mental health.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love interacting with my followers through comments and stories. My favorite platform is Instagram because I love sharing photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes moments of my journey. I also enjoy TikTok for its fun, creative side, where I can share video’s of myself and insights into my life.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people: Don’t let fear hold you back. It’s okay to be nervous, but you have to take that first step. The road might be difficult, but every challenge is an opportunity to grow and learn. For parents: Support is so important. Encourage your children to follow their passions, even if you’re unsure about the future. Talent and hard work should be nurtured, and sometimes the best thing you can do is believe in them when they don’t yet believe in themselves.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is to be confident. You are beautifull the way you are.
12.- Tessa, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
This is my first time being a model. The first time infront of the camera was really exciting and tens. I didn’t know how to pose because I never had a photoshoot before.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
No i have never thought about it. I really like to Watch movies. But i don’t see myself as an actress in the movies.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women will continue to fight for equality, and as more voices speak out, change will happen. In societies where women still face abuse or oppression, it’s crucial that we continue to raise awareness and push for progress. I hope for a future where every woman is treated with respect and given equal opportunities to thrive
15.- Tessa, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from the desire to inspire others and make a positive impact. Every day, I’m grateful for my family, my friends, and the opportunities. I’ve had to chase my dreams. I’m also grateful for my health, my passion for dancing and my passion for horseback riding.
16.- Tessa, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I absolutely love to travel! I’ve been to some European countries like France and Germany, but I’d love to explore places like the United States. In the Netherlands, I’d recommend visiting the beautiful city of Amsterdam for its culture, museums, and vibrant atmosphere. The Dutch countryside is also stunning, especially during the tulip season!
