1.- Souhaila, tell me about the city where you were born and raised.,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Casablanca, Morocco. Its the biggest city in the kingdom of Morocco and also the economical capital. I like that you can never get bored there, you can have the traditional side and also the more modern side of the city.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are handball, painting and also singing. I laugh the most when im with my friends, somehow they always cheer me up. Oh and cat memes of course.
3.- International Model, Miss Planet Morocco International 2024. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
Thats was about a really long time ago. I was already a Model in Morocco, but the beauty standards were a bit different back then and i studied at the same time.
So for me it was more of a hobby back then. When I came to Germany I started to accept my natural hair the way it is and that gave me more confidence to step in the modeling game again. That also led to me influencing young women like me to embrace their naturlal self and never give up on their dreams.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Souhaila in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
Diversity! That is my stamp and also my confidence.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue is confidence and passion. When you are confident and passionate about your dreams you will see the light of it!
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It is very important for me to be there for my community. As I made it I would like many to make it as well and it is very important for me not to be a gate keeper and share my knowledge with everyone.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Like I have made it. Its a feeling I cant describe! Like all my hard working didnt go in vain, like I deserved to be there.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social Media is very strong positivily and also negativily. Its a place of knowledge and also toxic, which everybody needs to be careful consuming it.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite Social Media is definately Instagram. Sometimes I spend a whole day answering messages from my community and I forget to do the content creation. Its important to me that I answer my girls about anything they need (about modeling etc.), because without them I wouldnt be here.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would give them fitting examples for them of people who decided to take the next step and did make it. Like is too short to not dare to do something that we love. To parents who do not support their kids I would say they need to give their kids a chance to prove themselves. Everybody deserves a chance like this and some might shock you.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
Always help each other! No matter if you are in a competition! Im a huge believer in good karma so I always believe in doing good for others and it will come back to me. Thats why im blessed and thats the biggest lesson I have ever learned.
12.- Souhaila, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Of couse it hasnt been easy as I am a mom. I had physical and emotional obstacels that I had to surpass. So i needed to work extra harder than others to get where I am now.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, that is definately my biggest dream, even before modeling. I am a really good actress when it comes to drama, comedy and horror and thats a talent I would like to go deeper in. I also used to write my own short scripts and used to pitch them to others.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think these societies might change in the future, because I have seen a change in different countries in the last years. The world is changing and even if their change is slow, there is still a progress.
15.- Souhaila, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I always look at people who are in a worse situation than me and that makes me feel grateful for where I am right now and also about the choices that I have made about my life.
16.- Souhaila, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Its one of my favorite things to do! I travel all the time for work and I love to have that opportunity to see many places. The list of the countries I have seen is quite long, so I can tell you that I have seen Africa, many in Europe and also a bit of Asia. Im definately looking forward to visiting the United States. I recommend seeing the entire Morocco, because Morocco has different regions with different cultures. Each one of them is special on their own. A person has to try them all!
17.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.
