I feel incredibly honoured and excited to be a finalist for the Australia Galaxy Pageant 2025. This platform truly embodies the mission of ‘Be the best version of yourself,’ and I’m inspired to embrace this journey of growth and self-discovery. For me, being part of such a prestigious pageant is not just about representing myself but also about inspiring others to pursue their own personal development. It’s an opportunity to challenge myself, grow in confidence, and make a positive impact. I look forward to using this platform to celebrate individuality and empower others to strive for their best selves

2.- What inspired you to join the Australia Galaxy Pageant, and what do you hope to achieve through this experience?

    • According to the Galaxy pageant system, they prioritise the personal development of delegates. I am determined to enhance my self-confidence and master public speaking skills beyond the pageant stage.

    • The Galaxy system fosters a supportive environment where participants forge enduring friendships and are surrounded by like-minded, driven individuals. I aim to establish connections with friends, mentors and industry professionals.

    • As a survivor of postpartum depression and anxiety, I am deeply passionate about supporting new mothers and families. For this reason, I have launched my own legacy project called «Empowering Mothers». I hope to use this exciting pageant opportunity to promote my advocacy platform and make a positive difference in the community.

3.- The pageant emphasizes personal growth and community service. How have these values influenced your journey so far?

The values of personal growth and community service that the Australia Galaxy Pageant emphasises deeply resonate with me. My journey so far has been one of continuous learning and self-improvement, where I’ve embraced challenges to grow and develop confidence. Community service has been a significant part of my life, and I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations like the Salvation Army, God’s Christmas Gifts, Evening View Club, and parkrun in my hometown. Through these experiences, I’ve learned the importance of compassion, empathy,

and the power of giving back to create a positive impact. These moments have not only shaped who I am today but also inspired me to use this platform to continue making a difference. I’m excited to further embody these values through the pageant and beyond.

4.- What message do you want to convey to other women through your participation in this competition?

The message I want to convey to other women through my participation in this competition is that it’s never too late or too early to become the best version of yourself. This journey has taught me that growth begins when you step out of your comfort zone and embrace opportunities to learn and evolve. Through my experiences, including volunteering with organizations like the Salvation Army, God’s Christmas Gifts, Evening View Club, and Parkrun, I’ve realized the power of giving back and the strength that comes from community. I hope to inspire women to believe in their potential, support one another, and pursue their dreams unapologetically. We are all capable of greatness when we choose to believe in ourselves and our ability to make a difference.

5.- Can you share your preparation routine for the national pageant, both physically and mentally?

Preparing for the national pageant has been an exciting and rewarding journey that requires a balance of physical and mental readiness. Physically, I’ve been focusing on maintaining a healthy lifestyle by staying active with regular workouts, practising good nutrition, and honing my stage presence by perfecting my walk and poses. I’ve also been curating outfits and accessories that reflect my personality and align with the pageant’s themes.

Mentally, I’ve dedicated time to building my confidence and communication skills. One of the most impactful steps I’ve taken is participating in live radio interviews & podcasts, which have helped me refine my speaking ability and feel more comfortable in high-pressure situations. I’ve also prac- tised public speaking, enhanced my interview skills, and engaged in mindfulness techniques to stay focused and grounded.

This preparation routine has been about holistic growth, becoming the best version of myself while embracing opportunities to grow and inspire others. It’s an experience that perfectly aligns with the values of the Australia Galaxy Pageant

As a survivor of postpartum depression and anxiety, I am deeply committed to raising awareness about this important issue. To support this cause, I joined and began volunteering with Gidget Foundation Australia, an organisation dedicated to helping new mothers and parents overcome postpartum depression and anxiety while working to reduce the associated stigma. My passion for supporting new mothers stems from my own experiences, and I am honoured to contribute to a foundation that provides vital resources and encouragement to those navigating this challenging journey.

7.- As a survivor of postpartum depression and anxiety, how has your personal experience shaped your advocacy?

This experience fueled my passion for advocating for maternal mental health, so I’ve dedicated my time to raising awareness and supporting others through organisations like the Gidget Foundation. Through volunteering, live radio interviews, and community outreach, I aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health challenges and encourage open conversations. My hope is to inspire others to seek help and know that they’re not alone in their journey.

8.- What has been the most rewarding aspect of working with Gidget Foundation Australia?

The most rewarding aspect of working with Gidget Foundation Australia has been witnessing the impact I can make in the lives of new parents who are struggling.

9.- Can you share more about your campaign, «Empowering Mothers,» and the impact it has had so far?

I have created 25 methods to support new mothers and regularly share practical ways to implement them in daily life. To enhance awareness and engagement, I introduced the unique hashtag #StandByAMom, making it easy to track and connect with motherhood-related posts. This initiative streamlines my advocacy efforts and encourages community participation. Additionally, I host the Empowering Mothers Podcast, providing a platform for mothers to share their lived experiences, discuss maternal mental health, and offer valuable insights for new mothers and society.

10.- How do you plan to expand the reach of your advocacy through the Australia Galaxy platform?

The Australia Galaxy platform provides opportunities for media exposure, interviews, and public speaking engagements. I will use these opportunities to share my journey, advocate for perinatal mental health, and inspire action through my Empowering Mothers Podcast and community initiatives. Through my participation, I aim to highlight the importance of supporting new mothers and reducing the stigma surrounding postpartum challenges.

Motherhood and Family

11.- Being a mother of twins is an extraordinary journey. What has been the most rewarding aspect of motherhood for you?

The most rewarding aspect of motherhood for me has been witnessing the unique bond between my twins and seeing them grow into their own personalities.

12.- How do you balance your roles as a mother, a volunteer, and a pageant finalist?

Balancing motherhood, volunteering, and my journey as a pageant finalist requires careful time management, a strong support system, and a deep passion for what I do. I prioritize my responsibilities by setting clear goals, planning ahead, and making the most of every moment. My husband and family play a huge role in supporting me, allowing me to dedicate time to volunteering and preparing for the pageant.

13.- What inspired you to start your YouTube channel, «Twin Mom Diary»?

I started my YouTube channel, Twin Mom Diary, to document my journey as a mother of twins and to create a supportive space for other moms who may be going through similar experiences. When I became a mother, I faced many challenges, including postpartum depression, sleep deprivation, and cultural stigma around mental health. I realized that many mothers feel isolated in their struggles, and I wanted to share my story to help others feel less alone. Through my channel, I provide real- life insights into twin parenting, share tips on managing daily challenges, and discuss maternal men- tal health openly. My goal is to empower and support mothers by letting them know that they are not alone in their journey.

14.- What topics or advice do you share on your channel to motivate young mothers?

On Twin Mom Diary, I share practical parenting tips, self-care strategies, and honest discussions about motherhood, real lifestyles, and traveling with twins. I talk about balancing motherhood, managing daily challenges, and making family adventures easier. My goal is to inspire and support young mothers by showing them that they can embrace motherhood while enjoying a fulfilling lifestyle.

15.- How have your twins influenced your perspective on life and your goals?

My twins have completely transformed my perspective on life and my goals. They have taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of being present in every moment. Motherhood has made me more compassionate and driven to create a supportive community for other mothers facing simi- lar challenges. Their presence has also inspired my advocacy work, from launching #StandByA- Mom to starting my Empowering Mothers Podcast. I want to build a world where mothers feel sup- ported, understood, and empowered.

Fitness and Well-being

16.- You’re also a fitness enthusiast. How has fitness played a role in your mental and physical well-being?

Fitness has been a crucial part of my mental and physical well-being, especially as a mother. After experiencing the challenges of postpartum recovery and motherhood, I turned to Pilates, home workouts, and meditation to regain my strength and find balance. Exercise not only helps me stay physically active but also serves as a powerful tool for managing stress and improving my mental clarity. Staying consistent with fitness has given me more energy to keep up with my twins, boosted my confidence, and reinforced the importance of self-care. It’s not just about physical health, it’s about feeling strong, empowered, and ready to take on the demands of motherhood and life.

17.- What advice would you give to mothers looking to incorporate fitness into their daily routines?

My advice to mothers looking to incorporate fitness into their daily routines is to start small and be consistent. Finding even 10–15 minutes a day for movement, whether it’s a quick home workout, a walk with the stroller, or stretching while the kids play, can make a big difference.

18.- Do you believe physical health contributes significantly to overcoming mental health challenges? Why or why not?

Yes, I strongly believe that physical health contributes significantly to overcoming mental health challenges. Regular exercise has been a game-changer for me in managing stress and improving my mental well-being. After my experience with postpartum depression and anxiety, I found that physical activity, whether it was Pilates, meditation, or even short walks, helped clear my mind, boost my mood, and give me the energy to navigate daily life.

19.- Can you share a fitness routine or habit that has helped you maintain balance in your life?

To maintain balance in my life, I follow a flexible yet consistent fitness routine. I do weight exercises twice a week, dedicate one day to walking, and on the remaining days, I incorporate 10-minute home workouts with my twins. This approach keeps me active while allowing me to spend quality time with my children

20.- What message do you have for women who struggle to find time for self-care amid their responsibilities?

My message to women who struggle to find time for self-care is that you deserve to take care of yourself just as much as you care for others. Self-care doesn’t have to be time-consuming, it can be as simple as 10 minutes of movement, deep breathing, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea. Small, con- sistent actions can make a big difference in your well-being.

Empowerment and Leadership

21.- What does empowerment mean to you, and how do you incorporate it into your daily life?

To me, empowerment means having the confidence, strength, and support to embrace who you are and pursue your goals without fear. It’s about lifting yourself and others up, knowing that challeng- es don’t define you but rather shape your resilience. I incorporate empowerment into my daily life by prioritizing self-care, setting personal and professional goals, and using my platform to advocate for mothers.

22.- How do you see your platform, «Empowering Mothers,» evolving in the next five years?

In the next five years, I see Empowering Mothers growing into a larger support network that direct- ly impacts mothers in need. I hope to secure sponsorships from local businesses to provide essential resources for mothers struggling during pregnancy and postpartum. These sponsorships could help fund care packages, wellness programs, or support services to make a real difference in their jour- ney. I also envision expanding my #StandByAMom initiative, reaching more communities, and en- couraging widespread participation. Through my Empowering Mothers Podcast, I plan to bring in more expert voices, real-life stories, and valuable advice to educate and inspire mothers worldwide. Ultimately, my goal is to create a lasting support system where mothers feel seen, heard, and em- powered, knowing that they are never alone in their motherhood journey.

23.- What advice would you give to other women who wish to turn personal challenges into impactful advocacy?

My advice to women who want to turn their personal challenges into impactful advocacy is to em- brace their story and use it as a source of strength. Every challenge we overcome holds the power to inspire and help others going through similar struggles. Start by identifying the message or cause that deeply resonates with you. Then, take small but meaningful steps, whether it’s sharing your ex- perience, creating a support network, or partnering with organizations that align with your mission.

24.- What role does leadership play in your life as an advocate and a pageant finalist?

Leadership plays a vital role in my journey as both an advocate and a pageant finalist. To me, lead- ership is about inspiring action, creating positive change, and uplifting others. Through my #StandByAMom initiative and Empowering Mothers Podcast, I lead by sharing my experiences, raising awareness about maternal mental health, and encouraging communities to support mothers. As a pageant finalist, leadership means using my platform to amplify important conversations, set an example of resilience, and empower others to take action. I believe true leadership is not just about standing in the spotlight but about making a meaningful impact and inspiring others to do the same.

25.- How can women like you inspire change in communities worldwide?

Women like me can inspire change in communities worldwide by sharing our stories, using our voices, and taking action. Change begins when we speak up about important issues, raise aware- ness, and encourage open conversations. Women can create impact by leading with compassion, collaborating with others, and using social media and local outreach to spread awareness on causes that matter.

Future Aspirations

26.- What are your goals for the upcoming national competition in May 2025?

My goals for the upcoming Australia Galaxy National Competition in May 2025 go beyond just winning a title, I want to use this platform to amplify my advocacy for maternal mental health and the importance of supporting mothers. I aim to bring more visibility to my #StandByAMom initia- tive, encouraging people to take action in their own communities. I also hope to connect with like- minded women, build strong networks, and inspire others with my journey as a mother, advocate, and pageant finalist. Most importantly, I want to step onto that stage with confidence, knowing that I have stayed true to my mission and used this opportunity to make a meaningful impact. Regard- less of the outcome, my ultimate goal is to continue empowering mothers, expanding my advocacy, and making a lasting difference in the lives of women and families.

27.- How do you envision using the Australia Galaxy title to further your advocacy and personal mission?

I would use the opportunity to travel across Australia and participate in larger and multicultural events. These experiences will allow me to connect with diverse communities and raise awareness for various causes, including my #StandByAMom initiative. I am passionate about celebrating different cultures and connecting with people from all walks of life, and I believe these events will help me expand my reach, build stronger networks, and inspire others to take action within their own communities.

28.- Are there any new projects or campaigns you are working on for 2024 and 2025?

For 2025, I’m excited to be involved in a couple of meaningful projects. This March, I’ll be work- ing on Clean Up Australia Day 2025, an event that encourages environmental stewardship and community action. This project aligns with my belief in the power of collective efforts to improve our environment and create positive change in our communities. It’s a cause I’m deeply passionate about because a cleaner environment directly contributes to the health and well-being of all, espe- cially mothers and children. In addition, I’m also volunteering for a run event focused on raising awareness for Type 1 diabetes. As someone who values supporting causes close to my heart, I see this event as a way to raise awareness, educate others, and promote health and wellness for those living with this condition. Through these initiatives, I aim to champion values of community en- gagement, environmental responsibility, and health advocacy while making a meaningful impact in areas that matter to me.

29.- What legacy would you like to leave behind as a pageant finalist, a mother, and an advocate?

As a pageant finalist, a mother, and an advocate, I want my legacy to be one of empowerment, compassion, and meaningful change. Through my journey with the Australia Galaxy Pageant, I aim to inspire women, especially mothers, to embrace their strengths, prioritize their mental health, and support each other without judgment.

30.- What final message would you like to share with your supporters and the audience reading this interview?

This pageant journey has been one of the most incredible and transformative experiences of my life. It has allowed me to share my story, amplify my advocacy for maternal mental health, and connect with many inspiring individuals. To my supporters, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your encouragement, kindness, and belief in me have been a source of strength every step of the way. As a mother, advocate, and Australia Galaxy Pageant finalist, I want my journey to show that pageant- ry is more than just beauty; it’s about purpose, impact, and using your voice for meaningful change.
