1.- Nao, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. I currently work at a major IT company, while also serving as a Training Director in the beauty pageant industry, where I mentor and develop the next generation.
What I love most about my hometown is the balance between tradition and modernity. You can experience history, culture, and innovation all at once. It’s a place where discipline and kindness coexist, and those values have shaped who I am today.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies include traveling, exploring different cultures, and expressing myself through fashion, beauty and creative content. I also enjoy meaningful conversations and moments that allow me to grow. What makes me laugh the most is genuine, spontaneous moments with people I love.
3.- Miss Supranational Japan 2025 – The Miss Globe Japan 2023 . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I first started my journey in modeling and beauty pageants when I realized that beauty could be a powerful tool to deliver a message. Through my experiences, especially after facing personal struggles, I understood that being on stage is not just about appearance, but about sharing strength, resilience, and authenticity. Achieving my dreams has made me feel grateful, but more importantly, responsible to use my voice for something meaningful.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Nao in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I believe my unique stamp is the balance of strength and vulnerability. I carry both elegance and a real human story. I don’t aim to be perfect, but to be authentic and inspiring.
I also coach finalists in areas such as speech, social media, Q&A, English, communication, walking, and even hair and makeup. Many of them describe my approach as “tough love,” because I truly believe in their potential and encourage them to grow beyond their limits.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The most important virtue for an international model is self-awareness. Knowing who you are, what you stand for, and how you present yourself to the world is essential. Confidence without self-awareness is empty, but with it, it becomes powerful.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I am very aware that I may influence many young girls. It is something I take seriously. I want to show them that they don’t have to sacrifice themselves to be loved or successful. They deserve to choose their own happiness.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled in front of a camera, I was nervous but excited. It felt like a new world opened to me. In my first beauty pageant, I felt overwhelmed, but also deeply alive. It was the beginning of discovering my true self.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media today is a very powerful tool. It can inspire, connect, and influence people across the world. At the same time, it requires responsibility. I believe it should be used to uplift and empower others, not to create pressure or unrealistic standards.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I like to interact with my followers in a genuine and honest way. I try to share both the beautiful moments and the struggles, so they can feel connected on a deeper level. My favorite platform is Instagram because it allows me to express both visuals and emotions.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people who have talent but are afraid to take the next step, I would say: you don’t need to be perfect to start. Growth comes from action, not from waiting. And to parents, I would say: please believe in your children. Your support can change their entire life.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
One of the most important lessons I have learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants is that true beauty comes from within. Confidence, kindness, and resilience are what truly make someone shine.
12.- Nao, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model has not always been easy for me. I have faced challenges, including mental health struggles and moments of self-doubt. However, I overcame them by taking time to heal, stepping away when needed, and slowly rebuilding my confidence through small successes.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, I have thought about becoming an actress. I am very interested in the entertainment industry because it allows me to express emotions and tell stories that can touch people’s hearts.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe the role of women in the future is to continue breaking barriers and redefining strength. Women should not be limited by expectations. Instead, they should be free to choose their own path and be respected for who they are.
15.- Nao, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from my past experiences and the desire to turn them into something meaningful. Every day, I feel grateful for the opportunity to grow, to connect with people, and to live authentically.
16.- Nao, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I love traveling. I have visited places like the United States, Indonesia, and other parts of the world, and I would love to explore even more countries in the future. From Japan, I would recommend Kyoto for its culture, Tokyo for its energy, and Okinawa for its natural beauty.
