1. Nadine, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you like about your hometown?
Den Helder. The city that gives you a new hairstyle every day, for free, thanks to the wind. It’s raw, honest, and a little misunderstood—just like me. I love the salty breeze, endless skies, and always knowing exactly where I stand. No frills, just real people.
2. What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh or brings you joy?
Writing. My kids give me immense joy—and the occasional mini heart attack. I find humor in everyday situations, especially when things go slightly wrong.
3. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and enter beauty contests? How does achieving your dreams feel?
When I realized I didn’t have to wait for anyone’s permission to chase my dreams. I believe the skills I developed through motherhood, combined with life experience and youthful energy, make me unique and powerful.
4. What’s the unique, distinctive stamp of Nadine in everything you do?
Authenticity. Not a polished image, but a real woman with stories written into her skin. Beauty isn’t about fitting into size 34 or having a flawless past—it’s about character, resilience, and humor.
5. What is the most important virtue every woman must have to become an international model?
Self-awareness. If you know who you are, no one can convince you otherwise.
6. Are you aware that you’re an influential woman for thousands of girls aspiring to become models? How important is being a role model to you?
Absolutely, and that awareness is both an honor and a big responsibility. I don’t want to portray perfection, just honesty, so others feel they’re enough and don’t have to wait to follow their dreams.
7. How did you feel the first time you modeled in front of a video camera or at a beauty contest?
Like rediscovering a piece of myself I didn’t even realize was missing.
8. What’s your opinion about the power of social media today?
Mixed feelings. On one hand, it’s a beautiful platform for genuine stories; on the other, it can be a playground of superficiality and filters. I choose authenticity.
9. How do you prefer interacting with your followers? What’s your favorite social media?
Instagram. I enjoy genuine interactions and meaningful conversations. Humor and relatability are central.
10. What advice would you give to young people who have talent but hesitate to take the next step?
Do it. Feel the fear and do it anyway—that’s where the magic happens.
11. What important lessons have you learned from the fashion world and beauty contests?
Know the game, but don’t get consumed by the rules. Be strategic but always stay true to yourself.
12. Was it easy for Nadine to become a model? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome them?
Easy? Absolutely not. I doubted myself and compared myself to others. But no one else can live my dreams for me, so I simply decided to go for it.
13. Have you thought about becoming an actress? Do you enjoy the entertainment industry?
Yes! Storytelling is natural to me, and acting feels like the logical next step.
14. What’s your opinion on the role of women in the future in these societies?
The future belongs to women who dare to speak up, who make themselves heard, and continuously reinvent themselves.
15. Nadine, what motivates you, and what are you grateful for every day?
My kids, self-love, and the daily opportunity to write my own story.
16. Do you enjoy traveling? Which countries have you visited, and where would you like to go?
Traveling is freedom. Curaçao feels like my second home, and Thailand and South Africa are still on my bucket list.
