1.- Meltem, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Amersfoort, a beautiful city with a rich history and charming atmosphere. I love its welcoming community and beautiful streets.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are shopping, spending time with loved ones, and gaming. Laughter and joy come from being around those I care about and enjoying the small things in life.
3.-International Model, Miss Beauty of Utrecht 2025 Finalist – Miss Teen of Utrecht 2024 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
The first time I heard about pageants was when I was 13 years old! I took my first step into the pageant world when I became a finalist for Miss Teen of Utrecht 2024. Achieving these milestones fills me with pride and motivation to keep striving for my goals.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Meltem in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
My distinctive stamp as a beauty queen is authenticity. I bring my genuine self to every event and stay true to my values.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
A key virtue for any beauty queen is confidence! Believing in yourself no matter the situation.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It’s a big responsibility to inspire young girls. Being a positive role model motivates me to keep working hard and spreading kindness.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Competing in my first pageant was a mixed bag. I felt a mix of nerves and excitement but knew it was the start of something special.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is a powerful tool for connection and inspiration, but it must be used responsibly.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love engaging with my followers through messages and posts. My favorite platform is Instagram for its creativity and visuals.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people: trust yourself and take that leap. Never give up and keep moving forward! To parents: support your child’s talents! they deserve encouragement and support!
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve learned to be more confident and how to embrace feedback to grow.
12.- Meltem, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
It hasn’t been easy. There were challenges, but staying focused and surrounding myself with supportive people helped me overcome them.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Acting isn’t for me. I’m focused on pageants and other personal passions like cooking or baking!
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
Women will continue to break barriers and lead change. We must support equality and empowerment everywhere.
15.- Meltem, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from my family and loved ones. I’m grateful for their support and the opportunities I have every day.
16.- Meltem, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I enjoy traveling! I’ve explored a few places, but I’d love to see Japan and Italy. In the Netherlands, I recommend visiting Amsterdam and my hometown Amersfoort!
