1.- Melanie, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
Hiii I am Melanie. I am born in Amsterdam in the Netherlands. I grown up in the city that’s called Almere and i am living currently in the town Drachten.
I love that town because it’s not to bissy and the people are here very friendly.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are modeling that’s makes me happy because I want to inspire people.
3.-International Model, Ms Curve Nederland 2024 1st RU. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided to start in 2019 with pageant. I was always bullied when i was younger and being a part of the pageant world showed me that I am beautiful and that i am also a woman that may been seen !
When I started I found out that I really love the pageant world every time I found out a little bit more about myself and that I need to follow my dreams.
I just really hope that I can inspire other woman in the world with my story.
4.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue that any woman should have as model is self confidence.
5.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I am a little aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls and i really hope I can inspire them or help them.
6.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time standing in front of the camera gave me a wird feelingIi didn’t have any confidence and didn’t know what to do.
7.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is so powerful! It can help you reach a huge audience and connect with people all over the world. It’s amazing how it can spread messages quickly and bring people together for various causes or just to share everyday moments.
8.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite social media is Instagram and I love to communicate whit my followers by everything you can do.
9.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would encourage young people with talent but hesitating to take the next step to believe in themselves and their abilities. It’s normal to feel nervous or uncertain, but taking that leap of faith can lead to amazing opportunities and personal growth.
Remember, sometimes the biggest rewards come from stepping out of your comfort zone. Just go for it!
10.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I learned in the fashion and beauty pageants is that you always take care about each other,and help where you can.
11.- Melanie, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model isn’t always easy and definitely not as a curvy model, because still today I hear that I am not beautiful and should not be a model and that I am not innouf.
Bud everyday I tell myself that I am innouf and that I am beautiful and I am how i am.
12.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
It’s remarkable to see the progress women have made globally, but it’s disheartening that some societies still perpetuate abuse against women. In these societies, it’s crucial to continue advocating for gender equality and empowering women to break free from such cycles of abuse.
Looking ahead, I believe education, awareness, and support systems will play key roles in shaping a more equitable future for women in these societies.
13.- Melanie, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is happiness, and i am grateful to be here everyday with my family and friends.
14.- Melanie, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
If i like to travel ? Yes i do i like to travel to places where you can learn from other cultures and can see stuff that belongs in the history.
What I would recommend to travel to in my country is of course Amsterdam because its a beautiful city white beautiful big market where you can shop.
The Netherlands has some more stunning places to visit! You might enjoy exploring the picturesque Keukenhof Gardens, known for its vibrant tulip displays, or wandering around the charming village of Giethoorn with its beautiful canals. Another must-see spot is the historic windmills at Kinderdijk. These places offer a glimpse of the beauty the Netherlands has to offer. 🌷✨

My last words or final tip – believe in yourself it doesn’t matter what a other person thinks about you you are in this world to live your live not someone else his life.
So believe and follow you’re dreams whit confidence and dont give up following back is okay because that’s only makes you stronger and eventually you will be there.
