1.- Marianne, thank you very much for accepting our invitation. A native of Venezuela, what have you always loved about the city where you were born and raised? What are those lifelong hobbies that Marianne continues to practice and that she can’t stop? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. What I have always loved about my hometown is its vibrant energy and rich cultural mix. Caracas is a city that never sleeps, full of life and activities at any hour of the day. Additionally, the warmth of its people and the beauty of its landscapes, with the majestic Ávila as a backdrop, have always filled me with pride.
My upbringing, childhood, and adolescence were shared between two wonderful places, the place where i was born, Caracas, and shortly after being born, while still a child, I had the joy of living with my maternal grandparents in a small town on the banks of the Orinoco River called Pedernales, in Delta Amacuro, which I am very proud of. There, with the love of my grandparents, I grew up, started school, and was very happy.
Some lifelong hobbies that I continue to practice and cannot give up are related to exercise, fashion, and beauty. I love staying active, whether it’s through yoga, pilates, or simply running outdoors. Additionally, I have a great passion for fashion. I enjoy following the latest trends, experimenting with different styles, and creating unique combinations. Beauty is also something that has always interested me; I like taking care of my skin, trying new products and techniques, and learning about personal care.
These hobbies not only keep me healthy and energized but also allow me to express myself and feel good about myself. What always brings a smile to my face and fills me with joy is thinking about my mom, my family, and my friends.
My mom’s unconditional love and support have always been a source of strength and happiness for me. Spending time with my family and friends, sharing laughter, stories, and creating memories together, fills my heart with joy. Their presence in my life is truly priceless, and i am grateful for each and every one of them.
2.- International Model and Influencer. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today? Is it easy?
I decided to take my first steps in the modeling world driven by my love for fashion and beauty, and the desire to express my creativity in a unique way. From a young age, I was always drawn to the world of runways and photo shoots.
My interest began to develop by watching fashion shows and admiring the work of top international models, so when I had the opportunity, I took it with enthusiasm. Doing what I love and am passionate about is incredibly rewarding. It fills me with joy and motivates me to keep going, especially when I see the results of my work and the positive impact I can have on others. Deciding to enter the modeling world was both exciting and a bit intimidating. I knew it would be a path full of challenges, but also opportunities to grow and learn.
The mix of nerves and excitement drove me to move forward and seek more opportunities for professional development. However, it’s not always easy. Modeling requires a lot of discipline, perseverance, and the ability to handle criticism. There are times of great effort and dedication, but the satisfaction of pursuing and living my passion makes it all worthwhile.
3.- Marianne, are you aware of your growth as a person, model, will you become more and more of an influencer, an opinion leader, especially for children? How do you manage this? How do you like to interact with your followers who join you? What is your favourite social media?
Yes, I am aware that my growth as a person and as a model is contributing to me becoming a greater influencer and a leader of opinion, especially for younger people. This awareness motivates me to approach my role with responsibility and authenticity, understanding the impact I can have on others. I handle this role with humility and commitment. I strive to be a positive and authentic example, sharing not only the glamorous aspects of my career but also the challenges and lessons I encounter.
I believe it’s important to use my platform to inspire and support my followers, offering helpful advice and sharing empowering messages. I love interacting with my followers through social media.
I enjoy having direct and genuine conversations, answering their questions, and receiving their feedback. This close interaction allows me to better understand my audience and see what interests them and how I can positively contribute to their lives. As for my favorite social media platform, I currently feel most connected with Instagram. The platform allows me to share a variety of visual content, from photos and videos to stories that show more personal aspects of my life. Additionally, the direct interaction on Instagram helps me build a closer relationship with my followers and receive their feedback in real time.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Marianne in each activity carried out as a person and model?
My personal hallmark is my ability to combine beauty, fun and authenticity. Every project I undertake carries a spark of love, courage and the desire to inspire many women, because true beauty shines from within and is reflected in every act of kindness.
My presence is a reflection of my genuine commitment to my values and my passion for what I do. My unique approach to each project not only reflects my professionalism, but also a deep respect for my own journey and that of those around me.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
First, discipline is essential. Maintaining a consistent personal and professional care routine takes dedication. This includes a balanced and healthy diet, as well as a regular exercise routine to keep your body fit and healthy. Perseverance and consistency are also crucial values. The modeling industry can be very competitive and challenging. Punctuality and professionalism are essential in all areas of modeling.
Arriving on time for castings, photo shoots, and runway shows respect for others’ time and helps build a strong reputation in the industry. Finally, authenticity and self-confidence are key values. Being genuine and confident in who you are will not only make you stand out, but will also allow you to enjoy the process more and connect authentically with others.
6.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? Have you ever participated in a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled in front of a still camera, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. Seeing how the initial results of my work were captured was fascinating, and I realized I was in the right place, doing something I truly loved. The camera has a special way of capturing not just the appearance but also the essence of the moment, and that was what impressed me the most.
When I modeled in front of a video camera for the first time, the experience was even more intense. The dynamics of movement and the need to maintain a constant presence in front of the camera made me feel a bit more exposed, but it also allowed me to experience a deeper connection through the screen.
Yes, I have participated in a few beauty pageants since I was a child. These experiences were very valuable as they not only provided me with the opportunity to showcase my work and skills on a larger stage but also taught me a lot about the modeling world and the importance of preparation and self confidence.
7.- Marianne, would you like to venture at some stage of your life into the entertainment industry, such as TV, radio, or maybe more oriented towards acting, cinema, theatre? Have you always been extroverted?
Yes, I would love to explore different areas of the entertainment industry, such as television, radio, or even acting in film and theater. I’ve always been fascinated by the world of entertainment, and I think my modeling experience could be a great complement to these new ventures. The idea of telling stories and connecting with an audience in different ways is very exciting to me. As for being extroverted, I haven’t always been that way.
While I enjoy interacting with people and feel comfortable in social situations, I’ve also had moments of introversion. My experience in modeling and my interest in acting have helped me develop my extroverted side more, but I always strive to balance both aspects of my personality.
8.- Marianne, What do you think about the power of social media today?
The power of social media and new technologies is profound and multifaceted. They can connect people around the world, promoting cultural exchange, facilitate access to information, and drive innovation. However, they also present negative challenges, and it is crucial to use them responsibly. Using them consciously and ethically is key to maximizing their benefits and minimizing their risks.
9.- What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents? and What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step?
To parents who do not support their children’s talents, I would say that support and understanding are crucial for a child’s development and confidence. Every child possesses unique skills and passions that, if given the right environment, can flourish into significant achievements. Talents do not always fit traditional expectations or conventional career paths, and it is essential for parents to recognize that their role is to guide and support rather than impose restrictions based on their own expectations or fears. Listening to and valuing a child’s interests, even if they do not align with what one might have envisioned, can be key to their personal and professional development.
For young people who have talent and skill but are hesitant to take the next step, I would advise them to confront their fears with courage and persistence. It is natural to feel insecure when transitioning or facing a new challenge, but personal and professional growth often requires stepping out of one’s comfort zone. Setting clear and achievable goals, seeking support and guidance from mentors or experienced individuals in the field, and remembering that failure and obstacles are inevitable parts of the learning process can be helpful. Each attempt, even if it does not turn out as expected, provides valuable lessons that contribute to growth.
10.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion?
Firstly, it underscores the importance of authenticity. In an environment where external appearances and perceptions can be so dominant. Staying authentic allows me to remain true to my values and principles. It’s easy to focus solely on the superficial in this world, but I’ve learned that true beauty lies in how we treat others and in the kindness, empathy, and compassion we show. Outer beauty may capture attention, but inner beauty leaves a lasting impact. Working in a glamorous and design focused environment also teaches me to appreciate the effort, creativity, and dedication behind every creation.
Lastly, this experience has taught me to find balance. It’s possible to appreciate and enjoy glamour and beauty without losing sight of what truly matters human relationships, personal growth, and emotional well-being. In summary, each day in this world teaches me to be a better person more authentic, grateful, humble, and aware of the true beauty that resides within every human being.
11.- What do you think about the empowerment of women in recent years, reaching top positions all over the world? How can this situation be improved?
The empowerment of women in recent years, with many reaching top positions worldwide, represents a significant and positive shift towards gender equality and recognition of women’s potential in various fields.
This progress not only highlights the talent and capability of women but also marks a crucial step toward a more equitable and diverse society. Increased representation in leadership, politics, business, and other sectors enriches decision-making processes and fosters a more inclusive culture.
12- Marianne, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
What motivates me every day is the possibility of growth and constant learning. I’m inspired by knowing that each day brings new opportunities to improve my skills and knowledge. Additionally, the ability to help others and make a positive difference in their lives drives me forward. I feel grateful every day for several reasons.
Firstly, for my health and the ability to face each day with energy. I’m also thankful for my family and close friends, who provide unwavering support and love. Every interaction with them reminds me how fortunate I am to have such wonderful people in my life. Furthermore, I’m grateful for the experiences and challenges I’ve faced. Even though some have been tough, they’ve taught me valuable lessons and made me more resilient.
Lastly, I appreciate the small things in everyday life, like a beautiful sunrise, a meaningful conversation, or simply a moment of peace. These things fill me with gratitude and motivate me to move forward with a positive.
13.- Marianne, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from Venezuela, your country?
Yes, I love traveling. I’ve been fortunate to visit several countries in Latin America and Europe, among others. Each place has its own culture and beauty, and I have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different parts of the world. There are many countries I would love to visit in the future.
I would like to go to Japan for its blend of tradition and modernity, Switzerland for its rich history and cuisine, and Australia for its unique landscapes and wildlife.
As for Venezuela, I recommend visiting several wonderful places. The Los Roques archipelago is known for its paradise-like beaches and crystal-clear waters. Additionally, Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, in Canaima National Park, is an impressive natural spectacle that is definitely worth seeing.
