In today’s global fashion scene, a new generation of women is redefining what it means to be a model, designer, and changemaker. One of those inspiring voices is Ksenia Chekan, an international model, creative designer, and the reigning Miss Economic World 2025, whose journey beautifully blends fashion, art, and humanitarian purpose.
Originally from Eastern Europe, Ksenia grew up surrounded by creativity and performance. From a young age she dedicated herself to ballroom dancing and ballet, experiences that shaped her discipline, elegance, and artistic sensitivity. Over the years, that early passion for the stage naturally evolved into a successful path in international modeling, where she has built a reputation for professionalism, versatility, and refined style.
But Ksenia’s vision goes far beyond the runway. As a designer and creative thinker, she sees fashion as a powerful form of self-expression, storytelling, and cultural identity. Her artistic background and design studies allow her to approach fashion with a deeper perspective that connects aesthetics with emotion.
Alongside her creative career, Ksenia is also the founder of Art & Charity, a meaningful initiative that brings together artists, musicians, and cultural performers to support social causes and charitable projects.
Elegant, passionate, and purpose-driven, Ksenia Chekan represents a modern vision of beauty—one where creativity, compassion, and inspiration come together to create positive change in the world.

1.- Xenia, congratulations on winning Miss Economic World 2025. What did this international crown mean for you both personally and professionally?
Winning the Miss Economic World 2025 title is a very meaningful moment for me. Personally, it represents the result of many years of dedication, discipline, and belief in my dreams. Every step of my journey – from childhood performances on stage to international competitions – helped shape who I am today.
Professionally, this title gives me a powerful platform to share my ideas, creativity, and social initiatives with a wider international audience. For me, the crown is not only an honor but also a responsibility to inspire, create, and contribute to positive change.
2.- You are known as both a model and a designer. How did your journey in the fashion industry begin?
My journey into the fashion world actually began long before modeling. From the age of six, I practiced ballroom dancing for more than ten years, and I also studied ballet for two years. Because of this, the stage became a natural part of my life from a very young age. Dance taught me discipline, elegance, and the ability to express emotions through movement.
At the same time, I have always been passionate about art. I graduated from an art school and later entered university to study design. Creativity has always been an important part of my life and self-expression.
Modeling became a natural continuation of my love for the stage and artistic expression. At the same time, I am also taking my first steps in fashion design and exploring this direction as part of my creative journey.

3.- Many models eventually explore design. What inspired you to move from the runway into creating your own fashion concepts?
Being part of the fashion industry as a model allowed me to observe the creative process very closely. I became fascinated with how visual ideas turn into artistic concepts and how fashion communicates emotion and identity.
This curiosity inspired me to explore the creative side of fashion more deeply and to develop my own design ideas and concepts.
4.- How would you describe your design style and creative identity as a designer?
My creative style is elegant, feminine, and artistic.
I am inspired by harmony, textures, silhouettes, and the emotional impact that visual elements can create.
For me, fashion and design are closely connected to storytelling and expression. Through creative concepts and clothing design ideas, I like to explore beauty, individuality, and emotion.
5.- As someone from Eastern Europe, do your cultural roots influence your fashion designs or artistic vision?
Yes, cultural roots always influence artistic perception. Eastern Europe has a rich cultural heritage, strong traditions, and a deep artistic history. These elements naturally shape my aesthetic vision and creative inspiration.
I believe culture adds depth and authenticity to creative work.

6.- The fashion industry can be highly competitive. What qualities helped you build a successful career as an international model?
Discipline and perseverance are very important. My background in dance taught me how to work hard, stay focused, and constantly improve.
Confidence, adaptability, and respect for the people you work with are also essential in this industry. Modeling often requires working in different countries and cultures, so openness and professionalism play a big role.
In addition, I also participate in international beauty pageants as a jury member, including competitions such as Miss Europe Romania, Miss Top Model of the Year, and others. This experience allows me to support and evaluate new talents in the modeling industry.
7.- How do you see the connection between fashion, confidence, and female empowerment?
Fashion can strongly influence how a person feels about themselves. When someone feels confident in what they wear, it is reflected in their energy and the way they position themselves.
For me, female empowerment begins with self-confidence and self-expression. Fashion helps women express their individuality, strength, and character.

8.- What lessons from your modeling career have influenced the way you approach fashion concepts and design ideas?
Modeling gave me a deeper understanding of how fashion works in reality – how silhouettes move, how garments interact with the body, and how small details create a strong visual impression.
This experience helps me approach creative concepts with a better understanding of how fashion combines aesthetics with movement and expression.
9.- Tell us about your charity initiative Art & Charity. What inspired you to create this project?
I created the Art & Charity project to bring together different forms of art in support of meaningful social initiatives. The idea was to unite artists from different fields – including visual art, music, and opera – and use their talent to support charitable projects and organizations.
Art has a unique power to inspire people and bring attention to important causes. Through this project, I wanted to create a platform where creativity can help raise awareness and contribute to positive change.

10.- Art & Charity combines creativity with social impact. How does art become a tool to help communities?
Art communicates emotions and ideas in a universal language that people from different cultures understand. It can inspire empathy, raise awareness, and bring people together around meaningful causes.
Through cultural events and creative collaborations, art can attract attention to social initiatives and encourage people to support communities in need.
11.- What types of projects or activities do you develop through Art & Charity?
Through Art & Charity, we organize creative events and collaborations that bring together artists and cultural performers in support of charitable initiatives. The project connects different artistic communities — including visual artists, musicians, and opera performers – and unites them around meaningful social causes.
Our goal is to use the power of art and culture to inspire people, raise awareness, and support charitable organizations and initiatives through these cultural events.

12.- Many beauty queens today are building social platforms. How important is it for pageant winners to lead meaningful social initiatives?
I believe it is very important. A title gives recognition and influence, and it should be used responsibly.
Pageant winners have the opportunity to bring attention to important social issues and inspire others to contribute to positive change.
13.- As a designer and activist, how do you balance fashion, creativity, and humanitarian work in your daily life?
For me these areas are connected through creativity and purpose. Fashion and art inspire people, while humanitarian work adds deeper meaning to what we do.
Balance comes from understanding priorities and staying passionate about your mission.
14.- Being a mother, model, and entrepreneur requires great discipline.
What motivates you to keep pursuing your dreams?
My motivation comes from my family, my dreams, and my desire to grow both personally and professionally. Being a mother gives me strength and inspiration every day and reminds me that everything we do can become an example for the next generation.

15.- What role do you believe fashion and art can play in promoting compassion and social awareness?
Fashion and art influence culture and public conversation. They have the power to highlight important issues and encourage people to think differently.
When creativity is used with purpose, it can inspire empathy, awareness, and positive change.
16.- For young women who dream of becoming models, designers, or beauty queens, what advice would you give them?
My advice is to believe in yourself and never be afraid to follow your dreams. Confidence and courage are very important, especially when the path is not always easy.
Be brave, work hard, and stay true to who you are. I truly believe that success belongs to the brave – to those who dare to dream and take steps toward their goals.
17.- The fashion world is evolving quickly. What changes would you like to see in the future of the global modeling industry?
I would like to see more diversity, authenticity, and respect for individuality. Fashion should celebrate different cultures, personalities, and stories.
The industry is moving toward greater inclusivity and creativity, and I believe this direction will make it even more inspiring.

18.- Are you currently working on new fashion collections or creative projects that we should watch for?
Yes, I have many ideas and plans for future creative and business projects, including continuing to develop and promote myself in the field of fashion design.
At the moment, however, my main focus is on the development of my charitable initiative, Art & Charity. This project is very important to me, and I am working on expanding it and making it more large-scale. My goal is to grow it into a platform that brings together art, culture, and charitable initiatives.
19.- Looking ahead, what are your biggest dreams as a designer, model, and humanitarian?
My biggest dream is to leave a meaningful and positive mark on the world. I would like my work to inspire people and bring more kindness, beauty, and compassion into society.
I believe that art and fashion have the power to influence emotions and perspectives. Through creativity, through fashion, and through self-expression, I hope to contribute to making the world a little more thoughtful, inspired, and kind.
20.- What message would you like to share with readers around the world about beauty, creativity, and kindness?
My message to the world is simple: we should support and help each other more. The world becomes a better place when we learn to be more empathetic, understanding, and compassionate toward one another.
Love should be present in everything we do – in our words, our actions, and even in the smallest steps we take each day. When we choose kindness, empathy, and love, we create a better future not only for ourselves but for all humanity.
