1.- Kimberly, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
Dordrecht is the city where I was born and I absolutely love this city. The fact that it is a city on an island gives it a unique character that you don’t find everywhere. The historical background of Dordrecht, with its centuries-old buildings and beautiful canals, evokes a sense of connection to the past. At the same time, the city has managed to adapt to modern times with charming shopping streets and delightful dining options. It’s simply a pleasant, welcoming city to grow up in, where you can experience both the tranquility of history and the liveliness of the present.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
Actually, almost everything I do is a hobby for me. My biggest hobby is being involved in beauty pageants. I love working and utilizing my skills. I also thoroughly enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like doing photoshoots and walking the catwalk at fashion events, something I definitely want to improve on.
3.-International Model, Super Model Universe Nederland 2024 . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have archieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I have always wanted to take the plunge and participate in a beauty pageant. I have so much admiration for all the strong women in the world, and I want to further develop my own strength so that I can be an example for other women. My first beauty pageant experience was at Miss Beauty of South Holland. The moment I made it through the casting and had my first training day, I was overjoyed. It confirmed what I had always believed; I was thrilled and felt completely at home. This is a place and environment where I am happy, can be myself, and can continue to grow. The journey of Miss Beauty of South Holland was incredibly enjoyable, and I was very proud of myself for finishing in the top 8.
After this journey, it was not over for me yet. I had learned a lot, but there is still more to learn. I decided to take a new chance at Super Model Universe Netherlands, a beauty pageant that I have heard a lot about and that I feel suits me well.
I am incredibly proud to have won, to wear this beautiful title, and to have the opportunity to be an example and pursue my passion.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Kimberly in each activity carried out as a Beauty Queen and model?
I think strength defines me. Strength in terms of hope and perseverance. Like many, everyone carries their own baggage. I do too, and a turning point has come in my life where I made a promise to myself. I would turn all challenges into strength and prove to myself that I am worthy of being happy and becoming the best version of myself. So, I never give up and look at life through colorful lenses.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
To be a successful international model, confidence is key. Confidence in oneself, abilities, and unique beauty is essential in the competitive modeling industry. It allows a model to showcase individuality and stand out. Additionally, virtues like compassion, strength, passion, and the ability to convey it to others are important. Being patient, solution-oriented, intelligent, and maintaining a strong work ethic are qualities that, when combined, lead to the best outcomes in the modeling world.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Being aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who aspire to be models is a significant responsibility and also something I take great pride in. It is important to me to serve as a role model for many girls and teenagers, inspiring them to follow their dreams with confidence, resilience, and kindness. Empowering the next generation of young women to embrace their unique qualities and pursue their passions is both rewarding and humbling. I strive to set a positive example and encourage them to believe in themselves and their potential to achieve great things.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I stood in front of the camera, I was very shy. I didn’t know how to move my body beautifully for the camera. Over time, it became easier and more natural. However, I really enjoy doing it; telling your story through a photo, video, or during a beauty pageant is the most fun for me.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media today is a powerful tool that can drive both positive change and negative consequences. On one hand, it connects people globally, amplifying voices and fostering social movements. For instance, platforms have played a crucial role in raising awareness for issues like climate change and social justice.
However, with that power comes responsibility. The spread of misinformation can create division and confusion, affecting public opinion. It’s essential for us to engage critically and thoughtfully with the content we encounter.
In essence, I believe we should harness the positive potential of social media to inspire kindness, inclusivity, and informed discussions, creating a ripple effect of positive change in our communities.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love interacting with my followers on Instagram because it allows for a vibrant and visual connection. I enjoy sharing behind-the-scenes glimpses of my life and work, as well as engaging with my audience through stories and polls. Responding to comments and direct messages is important to me, as it fosters a sense of community and makes my followers feel valued.
Instagram’s visual nature also inspires creativity, whether through photography, videos, or collaborations with other creators. I appreciate how it enables me to express myself while also learning from others. Ultimately, I see Instagram as a platform where I can inspire and be inspired, creating meaningful connections with people from all walks of life.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people who have talent but are hesitant to take the next step, I would say: believe in yourself and embrace the journey. It’s normal to feel fear or self-doubt, but remember that each small step you take can lead to greater opportunities. Start by sharing your talent with friends or participating in local events to build your confidence. Surround yourself with supportive people who encourage you to grow and explore your passions.
For parents who may not fully support their children’s talents, I would advise them to keep an open mind and recognize the importance of nurturing creativity. Every child is unique, and their talents can lead to fulfilling careers and personal happiness. Engage in conversations with your child about their interests and aspirations, and consider how you can help them pursue their passions. Supporting their journey, even in small ways, can make a significant difference in their confidence and success.

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
From my experience in the world of fashion and beauty pageants, I have learned several valuable lessons that extend far beyond the runway.
First and foremost, I’ve learned the importance of confidence. The ability to believe in oneself and project that confidence can significantly impact how we are perceived and how we perform in various aspects of life.
Additionally, I’ve come to appreciate the value of hard work and dedication. Success in pageants requires countless hours of preparation, practice, and perseverance, teaching me that commitment to my goals is essential.
Another key lesson is the significance of advocacy and using one’s platform for positive change. Pageants often encourage contestants to engage with social issues, allowing us to raise awareness and make meaningful contributions to our communities.
Lastly, I’ve learned that beauty is not just about appearance; it encompasses character, kindness, and authenticity. True beauty shines from within, and cultivating a positive attitude and empathy towards others is what makes someone truly remarkable.

12.- Kimberly, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model has been a rewarding journey, but it certainly hasn’t been easy. Like many in the industry, I faced various obstacles along the way. One significant challenge was dealing with rejection. In modeling, it’s common to hear ‘no’ more often than ‘yes,’ which can be discouraging. To overcome this, I learned to view rejection as an opportunity for growth rather than a setback. Each experience taught me something new about myself and the industry.
Another obstacle was the pressure to conform to certain beauty standards. I realized early on that embracing my unique features was crucial. I focused on building my confidence and celebrating my individuality, which helped me to stand out in a competitive field.
I also encountered moments of self-doubt, especially in a fast-paced environment. To combat this, I surrounded myself with a supportive network of friends and mentors who encouraged me and provided honest feedback. Their support reminded me of my worth beyond just my appearance.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, I have thought about being an actress, and I’m definitely open to exploring opportunities in the entertainment industry! I find the world of acting incredibly fascinating, as it allows for creative expression and storytelling in a way that connects with audiences on a deep level. I would love to delve into various roles and genres, as each experience can provide new insights and challenges.
The entertainment industry is vibrant and constantly evolving, and I’m excited about the possibilities it offers. Whether it’s through film, television, or theater, I believe that acting can be a powerful medium for inspiring others and sparking important conversations. I’m eager to embrace new experiences and see where this journey might take me!
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that the future holds great potential for women in all societies, including those where they still face significant challenges. While it’s disheartening to witness the abuse and discrimination that many women endure, I am optimistic about the progress that can be made through collective efforts and advocacy.
As awareness grows and conversations about gender equality become more widespread, I envision a future where women are empowered to take on leadership roles, make decisions about their own lives, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Education plays a crucial role in this transformation; when women are educated and equipped with the necessary skills, they can break the cycle of oppression and inspire future generations.

This drives me to strive for excellence in all that I do and to uplift those around me.
Every day, I feel incredibly grateful for the support of my family and friends, who encourage me to chase my dreams and remind me of my worth. I am also thankful for the opportunities I have to learn and grow, whether through my experiences in modeling, community involvement, or personal development.
Additionally, I appreciate the little moments—like a beautiful sunrise, a smile from a stranger, or a meaningful conversation—that remind me of the beauty in life. This gratitude fuels my motivation and helps me stay grounded as I pursue my goals.
16.- Kimberly, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I absolutely love to travel! I’m half French, so I visit France often, particularly the city of Toulouse. I really enjoy it there; it has a wonderful mix of nature and vibrant community life, with plenty of activities happening in the village. The blend of culture, history, and beautiful landscapes makes it a fantastic place to explore.
In addition to France, I’ve traveled to various countries, but I would love to explore more. One place I highly recommend visiting from my home country, the Netherlands, is the Schiermonnikoog, part of the Wadden Islands. It’s a serene and beautiful destination where you can enjoy stunning natural landscapes, peaceful beaches, and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle and connect with nature.
Overall, I’m always eager to discover new places and cultures, and I look forward to my future travels!
