1. – Juily, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Pune, India. What I appreciate most about my city is the warm and welcoming nature of its residents, which is reminiscent of the atmosphere in the United Kingdom. This sense of hospitality contributes to Pune being a safe and pleasant place to live. People from diverse religious backgrounds come together to celebrate each other’s festivals and cultural events, fostering a spirit of unity and mutual respect.
Additionally, Pune is renowned for its local cuisine. Especially during weekends the city offers a variety of recreational and adventurous activities such as hiking and exploring historic forts and palaces, reflecting its rich heritage. Pune also provides ample opportunities for personal and professional growth, with its favorable climate, cultural diversity, and vibrant traditions. As one of India’s largest IT hubs and home to numerous educational institutions, Pune is often referred to as the «Oxford of the East.»
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies include playing badminton and tennis, swimming, singing, and visiting historical sites. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, socializing with friends, and watching comedy shows that bring me laughter and joy.
I am deeply passionate about charitable activities, such as feeding the homeless, supporting orphaned children, and assisting women who have experienced controlling or abusive relationships. Witnessing their smiles and knowing that my presence and support bring them comfort and hope is profoundly fulfilling. The trust they place in me, and the knowledge that I can be a source of strength for them during difficult times, brings me immense joy.
3.-International Model, Universal Women Great Britain Finalist 2025 – Ms North London Galaxy . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I first began considering a career in modelling while pursuing my diploma in Aviation. During my studies to become a Cabin Crew member (Air Hostess), I dedicated significant time and effort to personal development—focusing on enhancing my communication skills, social presentation, grooming, posture, and overall personality. I have always been passionate about exploring opportunities that are different from my previous academic and career pursuits. With a clear vision of my goals and an understanding of the sectors where I believe I can thrive, I found myself naturally drawn to the world of modelling.
My involvement in beauty pageants began as a result of the inspiration I found in Holly Pirrie, the Director of UK Galaxy Pageants. Although I had some awareness of beauty pageants in the past, my interest deepened after moving to the UK. While browsing TikTok, I came across videos of UK Galaxy Pageants where our director Holly Pirrie was seen enthusiastically supporting all the contestants on stage. Her uplifting and empowering presence left a lasting impression on me. I would say her whole team is very supportive and assists you at every single stage in your competition. I really appreciate that.
Having a leader like Holly Pirrie is truly a privilege. Her consistent encouragement and genuine support for every participant have earned my deep respect and admiration. I believe her positive influence is a major reason why so many of us are motivated to continue participating in UK Galaxy Pageants.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Juily in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I believe the distinctive, unique stamp I bring to every activity as a beauty queen and model is authenticity blended with purpose. I always strive to stay true to who I am, embracing my roots, values, and individuality while using my platform ¨Ṕoverty Insights¨(my own platform) and ¨Sunshine box¨ (collaboration with Sangeetha Menon) to inspire, uplift, and advocate, empower for women, young girls and our community. Whether I’m walking the runway, engaging with the community, or promoting a cause, I bring heartfelt intention, positivity, and a deep commitment to making others feel seen, heard, and valued by using my platform to give a voice to those who are suffering from gender based violence and abuse in their life. What sets me apart is not just how I present myself outwardly, but the genuine care and purpose that drive everything I do.
I would say being a Universal Women Great Britain Finalist 2025 is not just a title, but a kind heart that lies beneath the character which always put their community welfare first, strong love and respect for the society, someone who use their voice for women and young girls who are suffering from various serious issues in their life, educate and empower them. And I believe I have these qualities and that makes me unique.
5.- What is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
In my view, the main virtue any woman must have to be an international model is self-confidence. In an industry that often focuses on appearances, it is inner confidence that truly sets a model apart. Confidence allows us to embrace our uniqueness, handle criticism with grace, walk with purpose, and represent not just a brand but a message.
An international model must believe in her worth, respect her values, and stand strong in her identity, because confidence is what transforms beauty into influence, and presence into power.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I would say being an idol is something more than just a responsibility but how much you genuinely wish to offer your support to the women and young girls out there. I am truly aware and incredibly honored to have the opportunity to be a positive influence for many young girls who aspire to become models. For me, being seen as a role model is not about perfection but it is about being authentic, compassionate, and driven.
I believe it’s important to show that success is not just about outer beauty, but also about inner strength, resilience, and kindness. Is it about beauty with brains, someone is intellectual enough in beauty, glamour, health, sports, education and many other sectors and leverages those skills to educate our society and make a better place for everybody in the world. Knowing that my journey can inspire others motivates me to keep growing, to lead by example, and to use my platform to uplift and empower the next generation. If I can help even one girl believe in herself a little more, dream a little bigger, and know her worth, then I know I’m making a meaningful impact and that means everything to me.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I have been following beauty pageants and other lovely candidates on social media before my last UK Galaxy grand finals. I was pretty much familiar with a lot of other girls who were competing with me and even in other divisions and also with their advocacy for various causes. All those girls are amazing and they supported me a lot during my stage performances.
However I still felt a mix of excitement, nervousness, and overwhelming pride as it was a first pageant and a new world for me full of lights, energy, and incredibly inspiring women. But more than anything, I felt empowered. I realized that pageants are not just about appearance; they’re about confidence, purpose, and using your voice for advocacy for social issues. In that moment, I understood that I wasn’t just there to compete but I was there to grow, to represent something meaningful to me, and to embrace the journey of becoming the best version of myself. That first experience lit a fire in me, and I’ve carried that passion ever since.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I believe social media is one of the most powerful tools of our time. It connects people globally, amplifies voices, and has the potential to spark real change. When used with purpose, it becomes more than just a platform it becomes a movement. Personally, I use my social media to inspire confidence, promote kindness, and raise awareness about causes that matter deeply to me, such as supporting women affected by abuse, helping the homeless, and uplifting young girls and women who are suffering from gender based violence.
I aim to be authentic and intentional in everything I post, showing not just the highlights, but also the growth, values, and purpose behind my journey. With this influence, I feel a strong responsibility to spread positivity, educate, and empower others. Because when used with heart, social media truly can become a force for good.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? What’s your favorite social media?
I love interacting with my followers in a way that feels genuine and personal. I make it a priority to respond to messages, comments, and share encouraging words whenever I can. I believe social media should be a space where people feel seen, heard, and valued. Whether it’s through live sessions, Q&As, or simply replying to kind messages, I truly enjoy creating a safe, uplifting environment for my audience.
My favorite social media platform is Instagram and Snapchat, because it allows me to connect visually through photos, stories, and reels, while also sharing deeper messages through captions and direct interactions. It’s a beautiful space to express creativity, celebrate achievements, and most importantly, build a positive community.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people who have talent but are afraid to take the next step, I would say that trust your instincts, know your worth even when others don’t, especially when you’re just beginning. Fear is natural, but letting fear stop you will only keep your dreams out of reach. Your talent is a gift, and the world deserves to see it. Take that first step, no matter how small. Progress starts with courage, not perfection.
To parents who may not yet support their children’s talents, I would gently encourage them to listen with an open heart. Every child has a unique path, and support from family can be the difference between a hidden dream and a fulfilled destiny. Nurturing a child’s talent doesn’t mean pushing them into the spotlight, it means standing beside them, believing in them, and giving them the space to grow into who they truly are.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve learned the importance of self-confidence, the value of discipline, resilience, and grace under pressure and staying true to who I am. In spaces where comparison is common, I’ve learned that authenticity is what truly sets you apart. Pageants and the fashion world demand preparation, professionalism, and the ability to grow from both success and setbacks. Most importantly, I’ve realized that true beauty shines brightest when it comes from within through kindness, purpose, and the way we uplift others. These experiences have shaped me into a stronger, more compassionate woman, and I carry those lessons with pride in every area of my life.
12.- Juily, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model has never been an easy journey for me; it’s been filled with challenges, learning curves. Like many others, I faced obstacles such as unrealistic standards, and at times, the pressure to fit into certain expectations. But instead of letting those obstacles define me, I chose to let them shape me. I overcame them by staying grounded in my purpose, working constantly on my self-confidence, and reminding myself why I started. I surrounded myself with positive influences, kept improving my skills, and most importantly, stayed true to my identity. Every challenge made me more resilient. For me, modeling is not just about walking the runway, it’s about walking through life with strength, grace, and the belief that I am enough, just as I am.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, I have considered pursuing acting. I find the art of bringing a character to life on screen incredibly fascinating; it combines storytelling, emotional expression, and the opportunity to connect with audiences on a deeper level. As for the entertainment industry, I admire its creativity and the way it can inspire and unite people. However, I’m also mindful that it can be demanding and fast-paced. Not only what truly excites me is the chance to use both modeling and potential acting platforms to share positive messages, support causes I’m passionate about, and continue growing as a performer and person, but also if given the opportunity, I would love to explore acting, not just as a career, but as a way to grow artistically and continue inspiring others through storytelling.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe the role of women in the future even in societies where they still face abuse and inequality will be one of strength, leadership, and transformation. While there are still challenges to overcome, I see women rising with resilience, using their voices, and supporting one another like never before. Education, awareness, and global solidarity are key to breaking the cycle of oppression. As more women step into leadership roles and become advocates for change, they inspire future generations to demand respect, equality, and safety. I truly believe that empowered women will continue to shape more just, compassionate, and inclusive societies and the future belongs to them.
15.- Juily, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My greatest motivation comes from the desire to grow, to serve others, and to become a positive example for young girls who dream fearlessly just like I once did. Every day, I remind myself that I have a purpose, and that keeps me grounded and driven. I feel deeply grateful for the love and support of my family and friends for the opportunities I’ve been given and their support, and for the strength to overcome challenges. Most of all, I’m thankful for the chance to use my voice and my journey to inspire others. Gratitude gives me perspective, and motivation gives me direction and together, they guide everything I do.
16.- Juily, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I absolutely love to travel. Exploring new cultures, meeting people from different backgrounds, and experiencing the beauty of the world has always been something that excites and inspires me. I’ve had the opportunity to visit the UK which is leaving a unique mark on me. There are still many countries I dream of visiting such as Japan for its rich traditions, Switzerland for numerous lakes, villages and high peaks of the Alps, Indonesia(especially Bali) for its rich cultural heritage.
From my own country, I would highly recommend visiting Maldives to experience its incredible heritage, warm hospitality, and stunning destinations. I believe that travel not only broadens your perspective, but it also teaches you empathy, adaptability, and appreciation for the diversity of our world.

I encourage everyone to step forward, stand up for themselves, and use their voice to uplift not only their own lives but also the lives of those in need. I am confident in my ability to create a meaningful impact in the world and so can you. You are inherently worthy and capable of bringing positive change to your life and to the lives of others.
