1.- Ivana, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in the heart of Europe, in Slovakia. What I love most about my hometown is its unique blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. Slovakia is a small country, but it’s filled with majestic mountains, charming villages and a deep history that’s reflected in every corner. Growing up there taught me to appreciate traditions, community and the beauty of simplicity.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I have a few hobbies that bring me a lot of joy and balance in life. I love traveling, exploring new places and cultures. I’m also really into fashion. Fitness is a big part of my life too, I actively train and enjoy staying fit. And of course, spending time with my family, frends and my dogs is something that brings me genuine happiness. They always know how to make me laugh.
3.-International Model, Top Model of the World Slovakia 2024. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
My first experience with modeling was when I was 18 years old, participating in my first beauty competition. After that, I received my first offers and collaborations. Modeling is not just a job for me, it’s also my passion and I truly appreciate being able to do what I love.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Ivana in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
My unique stamp is my approach to every role. I always aim to give my best, whether in front of the camera or on the runway and bring authenticity to each moment. I believe that true beauty is a combination of inner and outer qualities. My goal is to inspire and leave a positive impression.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue that every woman must have to become an international model is resilience. Modeling is a competitive industry that requires the ability to handle rejection, adapt to diverse environments and continuously move forward. Along with resilience, discipline is crucial to success in the field.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Being an inspiration for young girls who dream of becoming models is a tremendous honor for me. It’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly because I understand how important it is to be a positive role model. For me, being an idol isn’t just about success or beauty, it’s about showing that hard work can lead to achieving your dreams. I hope to encourage others to embrace their uniqueness and pursue what they love.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
When I first modeled in front of a video camera, I had mixed feelings, it was a combination of excitement and nervousness. Over time and with more experience, that transformed into confidence. At my first beauty pageant, I experienced similar emotions, excitement for the opportunity mixed with a bit of fear. These were unforgettable moments that ignited my passion for modeling.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media has enormous power today. It is a tool that connects people all over the world, providing a platform to share stories, showcase work and engage with audiences. However, it is important to use it responsibly and to keep in mind that not everything on social media reflects reality.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I post both regular posts and stories. Most often, they include photos and videos from photo shoots and fashion shows, but also glimpses from my personal life. My favorite social platform is Instagram.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would advise young people with talent who hesitate to take the next step to believe in themselves and their potential. They can start with small steps, like joining a regional competition or creating a portfolio. For parents, I would recommend supporting their children’s dreams, as this will make them happy, even if their aspirations are different from what the parents might have envisioned.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve realized the importance of being confident and authentic, it’s what truly sets you apart.
12.- Ivana, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model hasn’t always been easy for me. Like any career, it has its own challenges. However, I’ve learned to see obstacles as opportunities to improve.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Being an actress has been my dream since childhood. During my school years, I actively pursued acting and even performed in theater. Recently, I was fortunate to play a small role in a Slovak film and TV series, for which I am very grateful because I truly enjoy it.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
The role of women in the future, especially in societies where they still face abuse or inequality will depend on continuous efforts to create change and empower them. Over the last few decades, women worldwide have made remarkable progress in various fields, showing that all they need is the opportunity.
15.- Ivana, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My everyday motivation is to continuously improve in everything I do. I am grateful that my family and I are healthy, as that is the greatest happiness.
16.- Ivana, do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I really enjoy traveling. I’ve visited several countries across Europe and a few years ago, I went to the USA. This year, I had the opportunity to attend a global competition in Egypt. Slovakia also has many beautiful places and stunning nature, one of which is the High Tatras, our majestic mountain range.
