1. – Femi, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Uden. It is a wonderful town to live in, not too big, with a beautiful nature reserve, the Maashorst. Fun fact: the final of Miss Universe Noord-Brabant will be held in Uden as well!
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are of course pageantry, but I also love sports like fitness and football. In my spare time, I enjoy horseriding. And last but definitely not least, I truly love spending time with my family and friends. They are very important to me!
3.-International Model, Miss Universe Noord-Brabant 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
My beauty pageant journey began in 2022 when I joined Miss Beauty of Noord-Brabant 2023. I ended up as Miss Friendship of Noord-Brabant 2023 and 1st runner-up Miss Beauty of Noord-Brabant 2023. It brought me so much joy, and that’s one of the main reasons I wanted to compete in another pageant. Miss Universe Noord-Brabant seemed like the perfect opportunity!
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Femi in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
My unique strength is creativity! I always try to come up with new ideas. I am also very driven to achieve my goals and strive for the best possible results.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
To be an international queen, your heart needs to be in the right place! I believe kindness is the key to succes, and showing kindness to others brings people together. Beauty on the outside is nice, but a beautiful heart is golden!
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I am aware of the platform this title gives me. Personally, I find it very important to be a role model for the younger generation. I want to inspire young women to chase their dreams, do what makes them happy, and believe in their own strength.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
At first, I was a bit insecure, but after the first activity, I felt so much joy and confidence! I had the best time and experienced a huge personal growth.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media has a huge impact nowadays. I think it’s a beautiful platform to share your story and inspire others, if it is used wisely.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite social media platform is Instagram. I love creating story posts, and what I enjoy most is how easy it is to interact with new people.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Step out of your comfort zone! Never let insecurities stop you from doing what you love. The earlier you start following your dreams, the more life will give you in return.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is to live in the moment and enjoy it.
12.- Femi, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
At the start of my pageant journey, I struggled with insecurities. I was constantly worried about other people’s opinions and felt insecure about my weight. Attending the casting for Miss Beauty of Noord-Brabant 2023 was a huge step for me, but in the end, it became one of the most valuable moments of my life. That was the moment I truly started to grow as a person. I am incredibly proud to say that I have overcome these fears and have developed into a strong, confident woman.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Acting sounds like so much fun! I love the entertainment industry, and that’s also one of the reasons I enjoy pageants so much. The feeling of performing on stage with other amazing women brings me so much joy.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women’s rights will continue to improve in the future. Today, many strong women are already standing up for women’s rights, and together, we are striving for a better future.
15.- Femi, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My biggest motivation is to inspire young women to follow their dreams. If you had told little Femi that she would compete in pageants, she wouldn’t have believed you. I am so grateful for the opportunity and the support I’ve received. That is giving me the confidence to do what brings me joy.
16.- Femi, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I absolutely love to travel! I’ve been to Germany, Belgium, England, France, Spain, and Italy, but I plan on visiting many more countries. High on my travel list are South Africa, Mexico, and the USA. If you ever visit the Netherlands, I would definitely recommend going to the Efteling in Noord-Brabant. I love theme parks, and the Efteling offers such a wonderful and unique experience.
17.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.
18.- Femi, your last words or final tips
If I become Miss Universe Noord-Brabant 2025, I want to be an example for young women. I want to show that no dream is too big with a positive mindset and a kind heart. Stepping into pageantry has truly been one of the greatest gifts in my life. I have learned so much and have grown into a strong young woman who knows what she wants and what she can achieve. I want every woman to feel this kind of empowerment. So my final tip would be: Never let anyone stop you from doing the things that make you happy. Be kind to each other and support others in achieving their goals.
