1. – Dianne, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I have been raised in a small town in the Netherlands called Bakkeveen. I have lived there for the first 18 years of my live. I loved how this small town was always there for everyone. It was a safe space and it still feels like home.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies are singing and running. But what gives me the most joy in my life is being a very proud aunty to my 2 baby nieces.
3.- International Model – Mrs Unity Netherlands 2025 Finalist – Elite Diversity 2024 2nd RU – Miss Charity MDN 2024 . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
If you asked me 7 years ago, I would have never thought I would model or compete in a pageant. I decided to model at first, this was to overcome my stage fright when it came to singing on stage. I found myself looking at pageants on instagram at some point and thinking: I wish I could do this. But I also knew, If you don’t try you’ll never know how far you’ll get. I realised I had a voice and people listened to me. So I started talking about my personality disorder and giving people advice. This gave me a feeling of bravery that I needed as a kid.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Dianne in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
In my own way I an unique because I am a woman with BPD who also does whatever she wants. From the moment you get this label people tell you live stops and you won’t achieve anything. I want to show the world that this is not the case.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Kindness is the greatest gift you can give anyone. There are so many people who could really use an act of kindness and need it. By doing this we can make the world a better place.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
To be honest I am not aware of it yet that I might be an example to woman. But I do know from my own experience we all need an idol from time to time to look up to. They can give us the push we need and show us ways how to get to our goals
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
Both were very scary for me. First time in front of the camera I tried to look like a confident woman but I was so insecure. But when I did my first pageant I knew I had to be more myself. But still, the moment we had to get on stage I was very scared. But I loved every minute of it.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
It has both good and bad sides. We need to embrace the good so we can use it to do good. Be an example or to show the world more positives.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I try to show them about my personal progress. I use tiktok the most for this. Sometimes when people really need it I talk to them behind the scènes to help them in any way shape or form that I’m able to.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Just go for it. I know it can be scary and I know you might think you’re not good enough. But you’ll never know unless you try. It’s not faalangst, it’s a lesson. For the parents: please be there for your child. This world is a though enough place with the love of a parent, so please don’t let your child down.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
Be yourself, your perfect just the way you are.
12.- Dianne, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
It has not been easy. This world of a though one. And my mind can play tricks on me, it will tell me I’m worthless and I’ll never be good enough. I have to (to this day) tell myself I am enough and worth it. And keep on trying.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I have not, but I did wanted to go in to the theater when I was little. Maybe someday I will be brave enough to try this to. So yes, I do love the entertainment industry.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
We still have a long way to go when it comes to womans rights. But we are getting there. We need to keep on fighting for our freedom and make progress one step at the time.
15.- Dianne, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
Being an aunt makes me feel so grateful and my nieces motivate me to be better and to be an example for them
16.- Dianne, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I have not traveled a lot, I did do a city trip for the first time last year. I want to Rome and I would tell everyone to go there. This was so beautiful and the food was amazing. Not to mention the culture. I will visite Rome again of I can this year.
