1. – Denisa , tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

Hi, Jaime. I was born and raised in Havířov, a city in the Czech Republic. My entire family (at least the part I know 😀) is Czech. What I love most about the city is my mum, who still lives there. 😄❤ To give you a bit more about the city, it’s home to around 70,000 people. It’s a young, vibrant city full of festivities that people really enjoy. Whenever I visit, I see new developments, and I’m proud of how much effort they put into improving the city. When I was representing my hometown, the city was always very supportive.
Some people say that Havířov is just one long street, but that’s absolutely not true. It’s just how people perceive it when they’re out having fun, enjoying coffee, or shopping in the heart of the city. Havířov has many schools, beautiful places, nature, and a river. The Žermanická and Těrlická dams are so close that I could bike there alone as a kid. I spent 8 years at keyboard school and also participated in majorettes, gymnastics, classical dance, and theatre school. I would love to live my life there all over again. 🙂

2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
All my life, I’ve loved sports. When I’m active, I feel true happiness. I also love seeing smiles on other people’s faces, especially kids (mostly girls, they’re so cute, and you don’t have to jump into a cold river for a ball) and dogs. Actually, I’m in love with all animals—well, except for flies and mosquitoes, I think. 🙏🏻😅 I love discovering new things.

3.- International Model, Miss Summer Best Catwalk World 2024 , Miss Top Model Universe 2024, BCA Ambassador , Miss Adriatic Europe 2024, Miss Elite Czechia 2024 – When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?

I decided when I was a very young girl on holiday in Croatia. There was a contest, and I won first place! The feeling was indescribable—like touching the clouds. It was like a drug; I became a little addicted to that feeling afterward. Then I found a new passion because I saw something even more interesting: I saw a circus. I lost my way as a model because my face, legs, and back were always injured. After a very harsh accident with my back and belly, it was hard for me to find a new reason to live. I got an opportunity to look for some competitions, and when I returned, I immediately understood that this would be my way to heal.

But then things changed when I was invited to Miss Elite Czechia World. That became my new goal to achieve, like the last cloud I wanted to touch. Since my Instagram was stolen last year, it’s a pleasure that people are starting to recognize me now. It has been hard for me to start all over again, but I really appreciate this recognition.

I am very thankful, and I want to express my gratitude to those who have supported me on this journey. A special thanks to my fashion designer Jiřina Tauchmanová for helping me with the incredible outfits for Miss Elite World 2024, to Luxury Mani&Pedi Salon Royal Jessica for my beautiful nails, and to V. B. Hairstyle for my stunning hair. Your support means the world to me. Thank you!

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Denisa in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?

People often call me naturally talented. They say my elegance, catwalk, charm, smile, and character—when it’s not too crazy—are a real bomb. When I walk into a room, it feels like the sun starts shining again. I truly hope that this same energy will shine through during my last competition, Elite Model World. I really wish for that.

So far, my activities have included playing the keyboard, being a standlady, dancing, and participating in majorettes.

5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
First and foremost, you should value yourself and stay true to your goals. Appreciate every opportunity and know why you are doing it. Be at peace with everything it entails, and it entails a lot. Stay strong and true to yourself.

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
In these times, it’s extremely important for young people to have a role model, especially the right one. It’s as difficult to find one as it is to become one. It is a huge honor for me, and I will do everything in my power to help them, which will also help me with my own self-discipline and in becoming a true lady.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
For me, the first photo shoots, competitions, and shows felt completely natural. It got worse as I grew up and started overthinking things; it seems to me that the quality of my work actually got worse. 😅 Honestly, at my first competition, I was a hyperactive little beauty who was just excited to have so many people around and could be silly. 😂 I think I was about 14 years old. 😄 Anyway, I came in first place. 😀

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media today is incredibly powerful, shaping our world in ways that were unimaginable just a few years ago. For me, it’s not just about connecting with people globally, but also about sharing my journey and inspiring others. It allows individuals to build their own brand, share their passions, and create communities that transcend borders. However, I believe that with this power comes a great responsibility to be authentic and mindful. It’s easy to get caught up in the numbers and trends, but I think the true value of social media lies in its ability to spread positivity, support, and genuine connection. I try to use my platform not just to showcase my achievements, but to be a role model, sharing both the ups and downs, and encouraging others to pursue their dreams while staying true to themselves.

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
Actually, my most frequent communication happens through stories on Instagram and Facebook. Sometimes it’s not the most convenient when important information disappears after 24 hours. 😅 I don’t like spending too much of my life on the phone, so I definitely don’t text people regularly. I do use TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook, but honestly, I’d love to get back to reading books and magazines more often. 😄

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people with talent: Don’t be afraid to try new things and follow your dreams. If something doesn’t work out, see it as a learning experience and come back stronger for the next attempt. Both good and bad experiences are invaluable, and you don’t want to look back with regret for not trying.
To parents: Support your children in the things they excel at or are passionate about. As children, they have a greater opportunity to develop these skills. After all, you want to be the parents they honor for encouraging and supporting them in their youth!

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned in the world of fashion and beauty pageants is to always follow your dreams, no matter what challenges come your way. Whatever happens, stand up, and keep going. It’s through perseverance and resilience that you truly grow. Staying true to yourself and being authentic are also crucial in an industry where it’s easy to lose sight of who you are. Embracing both the highs and lows has taught me that every experience is valuable and contributes to my journey.

12.- Denisa, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
When you truly love something, you don’t see obstacles the same way; they just become part of the journey. But yes, there have been many challenges along the way. I’m not sure if I should name specific obstacles here, but what’s important is to stay strong and always find a way forward.
When I wasn’t sure how to continue in modeling, I opened a business in my second passion—an acrobatic school. Then, life threw more challenges my way with serious injuries, including operations on my back, pancreas, belly, and tendons in my hand and ankle—due to different accidents, not just from sports! 😅 But these experiences made me even more determined. I eventually returned to modeling, and while it’s different now, I love learning new things and overcoming obstacles. It’s all part of the adventure.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes, as a small girl, I played in theater, and I really enjoyed it! 🙂 I’ve actually thought about acting in movies too. I’ve had a few roles, but mostly non-speaking ones because I tend to freeze up during castings. 😂 I usually take jobs that I can get without having to go through a casting process. 😅

14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women have come a long way globally, but there’s still a lot of work to be done, especially in societies where they are still mistreated. I’m optimistic about the future, though. Women are strong and resilient, and I think our role will continue to grow. With more awareness and support, I hope that women in these societies will be able to stand up, demand their rights, and be heard. It’s a slow process, but every small step counts. We need to keep pushing forward, supporting each other, and never giving up. In the end, I believe women will play an even bigger and more powerful role in shaping the future.

15.- Denisa, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
When I can walk and breathe, I’m always happy! 🙂 Every day, I’m motivated to become a better version of myself—in knowledge, in sports, even in cleaning my flat. 😂 I’m not sure if my mother set me up this way as a child or if I just naturally became like this, but it’s how I approach life. I’m grateful for the simple things and for the drive to keep improving myself each day.

16.- Denisa, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I love traveling! I’ve visited Phuket, Singapore, Dubai, Greece, Lebanon, Cambodia, France, Italy, Sardinia, Sicily, Poland, Albania, Austria, Germany, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Spain, Egypt, Turkey… and probably a few more! I would actually love to see every country because I enjoy learning about different cultures, though there are some places I’d prefer not to visit alone. 😅
In my country, I highly recommend visiting Prague. It’s the capital city with beautiful architecture, and while many foreigners come to have fun, there’s also a lot of natural beauty. The Vltava River flows through the center, and you can explore gorgeous spots like Petřín, Divoká Šárka, Obora Hvězda, Radotínské údolí, and more. Other must-visit locations in the Czech Republic include České Švýcarsko, Karlovy Vary, Český Krumlov, and Špindlerův Mlýn during winter.

19. How do you maintain balance between your professional modeling career and your personal life? What strategies do you use to stay grounded?

“Balancing my career and personal life is all about time management and setting priorities. I make sure to set aside time for myself, my family, and my hobbies. I also practice self-care by staying active and making time to rest, which helps me stay grounded and focused.”

20. What has been the most challenging photoshoot or runway experience you’ve had, and how did you handle it?

“One of my most challenging experiences was during a runway show where I had to walk in very uncomfortable shoes. I focused on staying calm, steady, and professional, despite the discomfort. It’s all about maintaining your confidence, no matter the circumstances.”

21. As an ambassador for BCA, how do you use your platform to promote awareness and advocacy?

“I use my platform to raise awareness about breast cancer by sharing important information and personal stories of those affected. I also collaborate with organizations to promote screenings and educate people on early detection. Social media is a great tool for reaching a wider audience and encouraging conversation.”

22. In what ways do you believe the fashion industry has evolved in terms of inclusivity and diversity, and where do you think there’s still room for improvement?

“The fashion industry has definitely made progress in terms of inclusivity and diversity. We’re seeing more body types, ethnicities, and ages on the runway and in campaigns, which is amazing. However, there’s still room for improvement in areas like representation behind the scenes, such as in leadership roles, and continuing to make diversity the standard, not the exception.”

23. How important is physical and mental preparation in your line of work? Can you share any routines or practices that help you stay at your best?

“Physical and mental preparation is crucial. I make sure to stay active with regular workouts to keep my body strong. Mentally, I practice mindfulness and meditation to reduce stress. Staying organized also helps me stay on top of things without feeling overwhelmed.”

24. Who are your role models in the fashion and beauty industry, and how have they influenced your career?

“I look up to models like Naomi Campbell and Gisele Bündchen, who have had long, successful careers and maintained authenticity in their work. Their determination, resilience, and ability to constantly evolve in the industry inspire me to work hard and stay true to myself.”

25. What role does fashion play in expressing your personality? How do you choose outfits that align with your personal style?

“Fashion is a huge part of how I express myself. I choose outfits that make me feel confident and reflect my mood. Whether it’s something bold or classic, I like to mix styles to show different sides of my personality.”

26. How do you see the role of technology shaping the future of modeling and beauty pageants?

“Technology is already shaping modeling and pageants in so many ways, from virtual castings to digital runway shows. In the future, I think we’ll see more use of virtual reality, AI, and even avatars in fashion, which will make the industry more accessible and inclusive.”

27. What are your aspirations for the future? Are there any specific goals or projects you are currently working on or dreaming of?

“In the future, I’d love to continue growing my modeling career and work on projects that promote inclusivity and positive change in the industry. I’m also passionate about using my platform for causes close to my heart, like women’s empowerment and health awareness.”

28.- Denisa, your last words or final tips
My final tip would be to always stay true to yourself and never stop chasing your dreams. Life is full of challenges, but each one is an opportunity to grow and learn. Embrace the journey, enjoy every moment, and don’t be afraid to take risks. And most importantly, remember to live by this motto: be every day a better version of yourself. Keep your passion alive, stay strong, and always believe in yourself. You’ve got this!
