At just 11 years old, Delilah «Dee» Hefner is already carving her place in Hollywood. Originally from Illinois and now based in sunny Florida, Delilah has swiftly become an actress to watch in the entertainment world. Following this breakout role, Delilah is set to star in two highly anticipated releases in 2025: Bad Apples and Grind, showcasing her versatility and remarkable talent.

1.- Delilah, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Pekin, Illinois. I have never lived in the city that was born in. I lived in Morton, Illinois for quite some time and moved to Florida for a while and now I’m back in the Peoria area. I miss the beaches of Florida but I do like Peoria because where we live it is quiet and peaceful.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I enjoy drawing a lot. When I have time to draw I usually make original character designs. I also have been playing my guitar more and teaching myself how to play some of my favorite songs. I like to cosplay also, making TikTok’s with different characters. A lot of them are from Stranger Things.
3 – International Actress, When do you decide to take your first steps as an actress? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I have been acting since I was 6, almost 7 years old. My whole life people said I should be in movies or television. Mostly because I guess I used to make up little skits all the time and have my family watch. I would even have them participate and direct them in the skits too. My family says I’ve always been very expressive and I that translates well to acting. I love being on set and it makes me feel very happy that I am able to do something that brings me so much joy.
4.- As an actress, do you prefer television, theatre, cinema?
I have never done theatre. I prefer television and cinema for different reasons. With television, you really have the chance to make a character your own and grow with them over time. So I like seeing the changes in a character. I like cinema because I enjoy telling a whole story and I enjoy that my character can have such a range of emotions and be such a big part of the storyline.
5- What kind of characters do you like to play or feel most comfortable playing?
I always play a little girl since I’m just now 11. My favorite character ever to play is Vangelica from the Acrostar Films series Blood Sisters. Vangelica although a child is a vampire and she is dark and funny and cool. It was such a fun character to make my own.
6.- Which famous artist would you like to perform with or share the stage with?
I don’t really know. I mean it would be very cool to be able to be on a film set with literally anyone from the cast of Stranger Things. I binged watch all seasons at the Airbnb when I was filming Bad Apples. It was a good time to watch because the director Steve Morris also is a huge fan so I got to talk to him about my theories.
7.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Delilah in each activity carried out as a person and actress?
I don’t know what a unique stamp of Delilah would be. I have been told that when I’m on a film set and we are filming that I am mature and professional, especially for a child. I do my best to follow directions and alway he prepared.
8.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an artist?
Not just any woman, but any person must have courage. You have to have courage to be able to give a character your all. You cannot worry about how you look, or what others are thinking while they watch you do your scene, except for the director, of course. You have to have courage to make bold character choices and stick with them.
9.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be actresses? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I am just happy to be doing what I love to do. If I can inspire others to follow their dreams than that makes me happy.
10- What was your feeling the first time in front of a video camera?
I have been in front of a video camera as long as I can remember. My mom used to always have me sing and do nursery rhymes or read on camera just to show my family who lived out of state. So when I was on camera for a film set for the first time, I wasn’t afraid or nervous at all because I was used to it.
11.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think that with AI now it’s a little bit a dangerous and that people need to stop believing everything they see.
12.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I like to comment and show support on content that I like. If a follower messages me I message back and like to chat in comments. TikTok is my favorite!
13.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Just believe in yourself and your ability and take a chance! Support your child fully, make sure that they are always loving what they are doing and that you are also making sure that they are always comfortable on set and with those that they work with.
14.- What important lessons have you learned from the entertainment industry?
I have learned the importance of being prepared. Showing up on set and knowing your character, the story and knowing your lines is very important. I have learned that following directions and working well with others will help you get cast again with the same directors. So it is important that you do both. I have also learned that rejection is a part of the business and that you can’t take it personal. Even if I feel like I did a great job on my audition, I have to understand that I just might not be the best fit for the role.
15.- Delilah, being an actress for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
I wouldn’t say that being an actress is easy for me. It’s a lot of hard work. An obstacle that I have had to overcome is uncomfortable wardrobe. I am picky when it comes to my everyday clothes and like to be comfortable. So sometimes if a wardrobe is itchy, or tight, or if the sleeves are not a certain length it can be distracting. I have learned to put it out of my head when I’m filming and if I have long breaks between scenes I change into my comfy clothes in between. Another obstacle would be sometimes I have filmed scenes that were either a brand new experience and a little scary at fist or scenes that were physically demanding. I’ve been tied up, in a coffin, kidnapped, playing and running on big sand dunes, running in corn fields and even holding a snake for a photo shoot. I have learned that I need to remember that no one is going to put me in an unsafe situation and I’m actually safe. With the physically demanding scenes I just do it and I know that I will eventually get a break.
16.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
It can just take one person to promote change. Women and men alike can change the world.
17.- Delilah, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I just really love being on set and making friends. To continue to be cast I have to work hard and train and put in the work by doing self tape auditions and memorizing scripts and attending table reads. I’m grateful that I’m given the change to earn roles and I’m grateful when I get to work with people that I really like.
18.- Delilah, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I like to travel but I have never been to other countries. I have visited Colorado a lot and there is a lot to do there. Hiking in the mountains is cool. In my country I think everyone should visit Chicago because it’s a big city and there is so much cool stuff to do there.
19.- Delilah, your last words or final tips
