Brooke Murray  @brookemurrayyyyy

Perumira Global Talent proudly welcomes readers to an exclusive conversation with Brooke Murray, the radiant Miss Galaxy Australia 2025. In the Southern Hemisphere’s spotlight, Brooke stands as a modern icon of grace, confidence, and extraordinary presence, celebrated across Australia and beyond as the nation’s most beautiful woman. Her luminous smile, statuesque figure, and effortless elegance embody the essence of the Galaxy crown, captivating audiences wherever she appears.

Beyond the runway and the crown, Brooke brings depth and purpose to her reign. A devoted advocate for Invisible Illnesses, she uses her voice to illuminate unseen battles with compassion and courage. When the cameras fade, she is also a book lover, forever chasing stories and knowledge, and the visionary Director of Inspire Pageants and The Pageant Institute, shaping future leaders of the pageant world.

Yet it is as Miss Galaxy Australia that Brooke truly shines—commanding stages, inspiring communities, and redefining what contemporary beauty means: powerful, poised, and purposeful. This interview explores her journey, her dreams, and the spirit behind the crown, offering a rare glimpse into the woman who continues to elevate Australia on the global stage with unmatched beauty and brilliance.

1.- Brooke, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

I was born and raised South-West of Sydney in Australia, in the Macarthur region. It is the perfect mix of residential and rural, with everything from farms to major shopping centres within 15mins of each other. I have been surrounded by this incredible community with amazing spirit my whole life!

2.- What are your hobbies?  what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?

I enjoy going on adventures with my two dogs, walking our local trails as well as going to the beach. I also love reading; I read for 1-2 hours every night! My family, friends and clients give me a lot of joy and laughs, and I feel endless joy getting into my community and giving my time to causes close to my heart.

3.-  Miss Galaxy Australia 2025. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?

I began in pageants a decade ago; coming from a dance background, I wanted to try a new creative and performance-based platform that allowed me to simultaneously give back to my community. Now 10-years down the track and holding the title of Miss Galaxy Australia 2025, I hold immense pride and joy for the goals I have achieved, the people I have met that have made a mark on my life, and the purpose I have found along the way. I know that pageantry, and the Galaxy system in particular, will continue to support me in achieving further goals in future, and to continue to make a positive influence in the world.

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Brooke in each activity carried out as a  beauty queen and model?

Something unique that I bring to each activity is my approachable and quirky personality. I am someone who is unapologetically myself, and is known to be a bit of a goofball (something that I’m so proud is celebrated in the Galaxy sisterhood) whilst making those around me feel comfortable and appreciated. I love to get to know people and have meaningful conversations, no matter the setting, and find so much happiness in brightening people’s days with my energy and passion.

5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?

Persistence- the modelling and pageant industry can be brutal, taking a toll on you physically, mentally and financially. It’s important to find strength and lessons in each experience, whether it’s a win or a redirect. Making clear goals (both big and small), finding your purpose and people that share similar values, and developing a thick skin are all very important for skills to be sustainable in this industry. But above all, being able to pick yourself up, lift your chin and try again is a virtue that is absolutely necessary not just as a model or queen, but as a woman in society.

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?

I wouldn’t see myself as an idol per say, but it’s incredibly important to me to lead by example and be a positive role model to our upcoming generations. In every appearance and every decision that I make as a queen, I think about what would have been beneficial and influential to my younger self, and keep that value in mind to leave a legacy full of purpose and impact.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?

The first time I stepped into pageantland I instantly felt at home, like I’d found my community and a place to be the best version of myself!

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?

I believe that social media is an incredibly powerful tool in todays society, one that should be wielded for good! It allows us to connect as a global community across all ages, cultures and experiences, which can be so positive in creating strong support networks.

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?

Instagram is probably my favourite! I love the ability to be able to share images and reels to my queens all over the world, and to be able to hype them up simultaneously through comments and messages.

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?

My biggest piece of advice when starting out is to seek an experienced and understanding coach to support you in finding your feet. With the right support network, I would encourage young people to jump in and take the chance to invest in you and your dreams! Regarding parents, I always say knowledge is power; so I would encourage them to do some research and talk to some other parents and figures in the community.

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?

I have learnt so many important lessons in my decade of pageantry; I’ve learnt lessons on resilience, confidence, sisterhood, self-love, presentation, values and purpose. Every pagenat that I attend I find that I always learn something new, regardless of whether I win or not.

12.- Brooke, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?

There have been many obstacles! As someone who is petite in height, a bit curvy and living with invisible illnesses, I wouldn’t say I look or prepare like the “typical” model or pageant girl. Overcoming the feeling of being different is something I feel we all face at some point in our lives, but for me grounding myself in my purpose, caring for my hollistic health and loving myself for who I am has allowed me to be my fullest and most successful self in the pageant world.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?

When I was younger yes; I did dance, drama and singing from a young age and performed lead roles in musicals throughout school. As I got older though I found my passion and purpose in other fields, but there will always be that creative part of me that loves the performing arts!

14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?

I have always believed that women have the intelligence, drive and passion to do anything they set their mind to! Women deserve an equal seat at the table, no matter where they live or what roles they seek, with continued work on global equity required to fully realise the potential of women across all societies.

15.- Brooke, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?

I am motivated by every young queen and king I come into contact with, by my sister queens and director who have been incredibly supportive throughout my reign, and by the people that I meet through my volunteering and work with invisible illnesses. There is so much to be grateful for; my family (pageant and related) and friends, my body (it may not be perfect, but it allows me to do the things I love), my ability to work and support others, the list goes on!

16.- Brooke, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?

I love to travel! I’ve been lucky enough to see many beautiful countries including Indonesia, Italy, France, Belgium, USA, New Zealand and Fiji. There are so many places I’ve still yet to see, with my bucket list including Thailand, Greece and the Phillipines. When travelling to Australia there’s so many incredible things to see! Some of my personal favourite spots are the Whitsundays in Queensland, Sydney landmarks like the Opera House and Harbour Bridge, and any of our beautiful beaches.

17.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.

18.- Brooke, your last words or final tips

Be sure to gravitate to the spaces in the industry that celebrate you and allow you to be the best version of your self, as Australia Galaxy Pageants has supported me to be.
