1.- Ayanda, tell me about the city where you were born and raised.,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Gaborone, the capital city of Botswana. I love the friendly and welcoming people, the diverse cultures, and the beautiful natural landscapes in and around the city.
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies include reading, dancing, and traveling. I love to laugh and find joy in spending time with my family and friends.
3.-International Model, Miss Tourism World Botswana . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I am more of a Runway and editorial model than a pageant queen. Modeling has always been my passion at a young age, and it’s been an incredible journey to achieve my dreams and become a recognized influencer today. It’s an amazing feeling to have the opportunity to pursue my passions and make a positive impact.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Ayanda in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I believe my unique stamp as a beauty queen and model is my ability to connect with people and inspire others through my work.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue a woman must have to be an international model is confidence and resilience.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It’s an honor to be a role model for young girls and teenagers who aspire to be models.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled in front of a camera and participated in a beauty pageant, I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness, but I was determined to give it my best effort.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media has a powerful influence on people’s lives today, and it’s important to use it responsibly to spread positivity and promote meaningful causes.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love engaging with my followers on social media, especially on Instagram, where I can share my experiences and interact with people from all over the world.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
To young people with talent, I would advise them to believe in themselves and take small steps towards their goals every day. For parents, I would encourage them to support their children’s talents and help them find the right balance between pursuing their passions and focusing on their education.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
One important lesson I’ve learned is to stay true to myself and not let external pressures change who I am.
12.- Ayanda, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model and beauty pageant contestant has had its challenges, but I’ve learned to persevere and overcome obstacles through hard work, dedication, and a positive mindset.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Acting is not something I’ve pursued, but I appreciate the entertainment industry and the opportunities it provides for creativity and self-expression.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
Women have made significant progress in many parts of the world, but there is still much work to be done to address gender inequality and ensure equal rights for women in all societies.
15.- Ayanda, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from the desire to make a positive impact in the world and inspire others. I’m grateful every day for my family, friends, and the opportunities I’ve been given to pursue my dreams.
16.- Ayanda, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit several countries, including South Africa, Mozambique , Namibia, Zambia and China. I’d like to explore more of Africa and other parts of the world, and I recommend visiting the Okavango Delta and the Kalahari Desert in Botswana.
