2028 edition · Please read carefully before registering.
Terms and Conditions
1. Organizer and ownership
Miss & Teen Brillanza – Terra di Luce is a virtual pageant created, organized and run by Perumira and its founder, Jaime William Mostacero Baca (“the Organizer”). It is not affiliated with any other pageant.
2. Eligibility and categories
The pageant is open to women and young people of any nationality and residence. There are two categories, by age on the video deadline: Miss Brillanza Gold (18 or over, no upper limit) and Teen Brillanza Crystal (13 to 17). Single, married and divorced women and mothers may enter Miss Brillanza Gold. There are no height or measurement requirements. Each person may enter only one category per edition.
3. Registration and fees
Entry fees are in euros: Miss Brillanza Gold €119 and Teen Brillanza Crystal €99. Payment options are sent via WhatsApp @perumira. There are no hidden charges or extra production costs. The entry fee is non-refundable once approved. If an entry is rejected for not meeting the requirements, the fee is refunded minus payment-platform costs.
4. Minimum participation
If a category has fewer than 5 contestants when registration closes, the Organizer may move it to the next edition or refund the fee. The Gold and Crystal categories are never merged, to protect minors.
5. Videos and stages
The pageant has six video stages: First Sparkle (introduction), Roots that Shine (national costume), Talent in the Light (talent), Gala Night (evening wear), Terra di Luce (cultural) and Voice of Light (jury questions). Videos must be recorded for this edition, be original, show only the contestant (and, in the cultural video, public places) and follow the length and content guidelines. Not allowed: AI-generated or AI-altered images or voices, filters that change the face or body, videos reused from other pageants, or adult, violent or discriminatory content. There is no swimsuit round. Videos are sent via WeTransfer and the link is shared via WhatsApp at @perumira.
6. Language
Every contestant may speak her native language. The pageant runs mainly in English, so anyone speaking another language must add English subtitles or a short English summary.
7. Music and copyright
Each contestant is responsible for the music and images in her videos and must use her own, royalty-free or licensed material. The Organizer may mute or replace the audio if a copyright claim arises.
8. Jury and scoring
Each category is scored by 5 judges. The total is 100 points: First Sparkle 10, Roots that Shine 15, Talent in the Light 25, Gala Night 15, Terra di Luce 15 and Voice of Light 20. In each stage the highest and lowest scores are dropped and the other three are averaged. The jury’s decisions are final. Judges may not score contestants they coach or with whom they have a personal relationship.
9. Video and image rights
The contestant keeps ownership of her videos. By registering, she grants Perumira a worldwide, free, non-exclusive licence to keep the videos submitted as part of the pageant and share them on Perumira’s official social media and website. This does not limit any rights the contestant has under the data-protection law that applies to her, including asking for her personal data to be deleted. Requests are reviewed within 30 days; content published as part of the official results may remain where the law allows.
10. Protection of minors (Teen Brillanza Crystal)
Contestants aged 13 to 17 need consent from a parent or legal guardian, who registers from their own WhatsApp and accepts these terms. All contact from the Organizer is made with the guardian and through official channels. There is no swimsuit round; clothing must be modest and age-appropriate, with natural makeup and no suggestive poses. The guardian must be present when filming in public places. Only the contestant’s first name and country are published; never her school, address, exact city or personal social accounts. Her videos are only posted on official Perumira channels, with moderated comments, and the guardian may request their removal at any time. There is no public vote in Teen.
11. Titles and prizes
Each category crowns a World Winner (Miss Brillanza Gold and Teen Brillanza Crystal). A Country Winner is named in each country with at least 2 contestants in the category. Prizes: crown, sash, a printed copy of Perumira Magazine and the Perumira Global Passport (Pro for World Winners and Smart for Country Winners). Runners-up and “Destellos” special awards receive a digital certificate. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. The Organizer pays shipping; import taxes or duties, if any, are paid by the winner. The winner (or her guardian) must send her address within 14 days or may lose the prize.
12. No promise of results
Taking part or winning does not guarantee contracts, modelling work, sponsorships or income. The Organizer does not promise professional or financial results.
13. Reign and conduct
The reign lasts 12 months. Winners must keep spotless conduct: nothing illegal, defamatory, discriminatory, sexually explicit or violent, and nothing that seriously harms the pageant’s image. If this happens, the Organizer will notify her in writing (for Teen, the guardian), hear her response and may withdraw the crown.
14. Exclusivity
During her reign, the winner may not enter any other pageant without the Organizer’s written permission.
15. Early resignation
If a Miss Brillanza Gold winner resigns before her reign ends, the title is withdrawn and she must pay a penalty of €150 (Country Winner) or €300 (World Winner), covering the prizes and the cost of naming a replacement. In Teen Brillanza Crystal there is no financial penalty: only the title is withdrawn.
16. Disqualification
The Organizer may disqualify a contestant for false information, identity fraud, copied or altered videos, vote manipulation or breach of these terms. In that case no refund is due.
17. Personal data
Perumira processes the data it receives via WhatsApp and WeTransfer to run the pageant, contact contestants (or their guardians), publish results and send prizes. Data may be stored on servers outside the contestant’s country. Access, correction or deletion can be requested via WhatsApp at @perumira.
18. Changes and force majeure
The Organizer may adjust dates, judges or formats for reasons beyond its control (technical, health, legal or force majeure) and will announce them on the official website.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith.
20. Acceptance
Confirming registration via WhatsApp and paying the fee means the contestant (and, if a minor, her guardian) has read and accepts these terms.
