1. – Aveline, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Enschede, a city in the Netherlands. It’s a pretty big city but it has a lot of different cultures, which always fascinated me. I live in Arnhem now for my studies and I love it there as well. I do miss my parents, pets and other family a lot. So, I visit my hometown all the time.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I have a lot of hobbies! I like trying new things. I like singing, dancing, painting, surfing, going to the movies and baking. Mostly creative things. I also love spending time with family and friends.
3.-International Model, Miss Beauty of Gelderland 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I always really liked being in the spotlight as a child and I think it just grew from there. I think I started modelling when I was around 12 years old, but it was mostly making pictures with a photographer I know well. Then, a year ago, it started to evolve more into a passion and this year is my first pageant. I am so incredibly grateful that I am a finalist of Miss Beauty of Gelderland 2025. I hope I can be an inspiration for young girls around the world.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Aveline in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I always stay true to myself, and I want to inspire others. I have always been an animal friend, which is why I have been a vegetarian for 5 years now.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
First of all, I think it’s very important to be yourself. But I also think you should allow yourself to be proud of your achievements.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I don’t think I’m that aware of it yet, because I think there are so many things I need to achieve first to be an idol. But I think all young girls look up to someone. I always looked up to Emma Watson. A strong beautiful woman, who does so much for human rights and is also an amazing actress.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time in front of a camera was really exciting. I remember feeling really confident after it. It still gives me that thrill.
I was really proud of myself when I heard that I made it through the casting of Miss Beauty of Gelderland 2025.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think social media is a really powerful thing. You can reach so many people. But I think a lot of people need to be kinder to each other on social media, there is still a lot of cyber bullying.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I like to post on Instagram. I post on my story most of the time.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
You never know if you never try. It’s a difficult thing when parents don’t support their children’s talents. I’d advise those parents to listen to their children. Your children have their own dreams, and they are their own person.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
Be kind to others and stay true to yourself.
12.- Aveline, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
It comes with obstacles. You just have to find the right people to believe in you.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I am studying Musical performer in Arnhem, which means that I am studying dance, singing and acting. I really like the entertainment industry, and I would love to make a career in it.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
We women are so incredibly strong, and I think it’s a shame that a lot of women are being abused. This is why we still need to fight for equality.
15.- Aveline, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I feel grateful for growing up in a warm house with enough food and a lovely family. I feel grateful for how far I’ve already come.
16.- Aveline, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I would like to travel more. I have been to Belgium, France, Germany, England and Spain but I would like to visit other European countries like Greece or Sweden. Or a big city like New York or Tokyo.
I would recommend visiting The Hague in the Netherlands, there is a lovely beach and it’s a great city to go shopping. I go there a lot because my best friend lives there.
