1. – Judith, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
My city, Groningen, is THE student city of The Netherlands. The average age of the people that live here is under 30. It has a lot of young creative people and is all about exploring yourself and your dreams.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My main hobby is dancing. Dancing is my way of expressing my feelings and giving myself new energy. I also love Christmas! I usually decorate my Christmas tree 2 months before Christmas.
3.- International Model – Miss Aura Netherlands 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model ? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
The first time I took steps to become a model was during the Miss Beauty of Groningen 2024 pageant. This is where I fell in love with pageants. The thing I love so much about pageants is that I can use my voice and platform to inspire people as well as improving myself as a model. I think it is always important to be open about your journey, because you can be the inspiration someone needs.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Judith in each activity carried out as a model?
I think what makes me stand out is that I am showing that I am not perfect and neither want to be perfect. I believe that beauty is not only on the outside, but also comes from within. I think this transcends through all the work I do as a model.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be a model?
A dream. If you can look beyond the things you already have and have the courage to chase your dream, that is the key to not only be a model, but also to be the person you want to be.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Personally I believe that having role model can be crucial in developing yourself. Having a role model you can relate to can feel like the big sister you need when you can not figure something out yourself. Role models may not answer all your questions, but certainly can give your inspiration to help with the daily struggles in life.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
The camera for me felt like a magic. Standing in front of the camera and learning to be more confident was something that helped me not only improve myself, but also gave me a chance to show to the world who Judith Bogema is.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think the power of social media is underestimated. There are so many people who are active on social media, which means that there are so many people you can reach when posting something. It also means that what you post is visible for a lot of people and that there will be people who can have negative reactions to what you post. This can be hard for a lot of people and I think because social media has such big power we all should be more kind to each other.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite social media platform is Instagram. I love this platform so much, because you can share photos, videos, go live and chat. My favorite thing is when I make Instagrams stories and I can share polls, do a quiz or ask for ratings. This way I can make my content interactive for my followers.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I think it is important as a parent to show support to your child and show them that no matter their fears or insecurities. Support gives young people courage and it makes them believe in themselves. Parents can definitely give that extra push to their child to make them follow their dreams.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion ?
No matter who you are, where you are from or what your dream is, you can reach it. I truly believe that.
12.- Judith, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
In the beginning of my career as a model I was very insecure about my body. I thought I did not fit in and felt like I had to lose weight. Later on I discovered that that is the beauty of me. Not fitting in and showing young girls that you do not need to fit suddenly became my motivation. Now I stand with confidence and a message in all my pictures.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I actually was an actress. I started pre-acting school when I was 15 years old and I came to the normal acting school when I was 17 years old. I loved acting so much and still love it until this day. I still like acting, however the reason I stopped was that I missed the art of creation.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I think specifically in these societies it takes a lot of courage to stand up for yourself as a woman. I think the most important these woman can do is work together, and stand together as one, because together you are standing stronger than alone. I think woman from all over the world should support each other and work together to stand up for the woman, especially for the woman in those countries.
15.- Judith, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is my dreams. My dream is to inspire people, make the world a better place and become a better version of myself through pageantry and win a pageant would be the ultimate goal.
16.- Judith, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I love to travel. I recently did my internship for my major facility management in Bali, Indonesia. I love to explore new cultures and see the beauty of other countries. Indonesia is a very diverse country I would definitely recommend. However, I would recommend The Netherlands even more! I love the beautiful flat scenery of my country and the cozy cities full of canals and historic buildings. I would like to invite everyone to my city Groningen!
