1) Naomi, congratulations on winning the title of Miss Interglobal Netherlands 2026. What went through your mind the moment you realized you would represent the Netherlands on the international stage?
Honestly, it was a moment of disbelief. When I found out that I would represent the Netherlands as Miss Interglobal Netherlands 2026, it took a few moments to truly sink in. I felt incredibly honored and deeply grateful for the trust that the Miss Interglobal organization placed in me by inviting me to take on this journey.
For me, this title is about much more than wearing a crown; it is an opportunity to represent my country, share my values, and connect with inspiring people from around the world. Knowing that the organization saw potential in me gave me a tremendous sense of responsibility, but also motivation to give my very best. Above all, I felt thankful, proud, and excited for everything that lies ahead.
2) Bali will be the host destination for Miss Interglobal International this summer. What are you most looking forward to during this international experience?
What I am looking forward to most is meeting and connecting with inspiring women from all over the world. We all come from different cultures, backgrounds, and experiences, yet we share the same passion for growth, leadership, and making a positive impact.
I am excited to learn from their stories, build international friendships, and exchange ideas that can inspire future projects both personally and professionally. Of course, I am also looking forward to experiencing the beautiful culture of Bali, but above all, I see this as a unique opportunity to represent the Netherlands with pride and to grow through this incredible international experience.
3) What personal qualities do you believe make you a strong representative of the Netherlands on a global platform?
I believe my greatest strengths are my authenticity, resilience, and ability to connect with people from different backgrounds. I am someone who is not afraid to step outside of my comfort zone, take on new challenges, and continue growing through every experience.
As both a titleholder and a director, I have learned the importance of leadership, responsibility, and empowering others. I believe representing the Netherlands is not only about showcasing who I am as an individual, but also about reflecting the values of openness, respect, and diversity that our country is known for.
Most importantly, I always strive to stay true to myself. I believe authenticity is one of the most powerful qualities a woman can bring to an international stage, and it is something I am proud to represent.
4) Many people only see the glamour of a beauty pageant. What happens behind the scenes that the public often does not get to see?
Many people see the crowns, gowns, and glamorous moments on stage, but there is so much more happening behind the scenes. Being part of a pageant requires dedication, discipline, and continuous personal growth.
Behind every appearance are hours of preparation, including public speaking, interviews, networking, community involvement, and learning how to represent yourself and your country with confidence and professionalism. There are also moments of self-reflection, overcoming challenges, and pushing beyond your comfort zone.
What people often do not see is the strong sense of sisterhood that develops among the contestants. While it is a competition, it is also an environment where women support, inspire, and learn from one another. For me, those personal connections and the growth that happens behind the scenes are just as valuable as the moments on stage.
5) What have you discovered about yourself since the beginning of your journey toward Miss Interglobal?
Since the beginning of my Miss Interglobal journey, I have discovered that I am capable of balancing much more responsibility than I ever imagined. While preparing for my own international journey, I was also working as the Director of Miss Destiny Netherlands, organizing events, mentoring contestants, and providing training and guidance to young women pursuing their own dreams.
Managing both roles at the same time has taught me the importance of discipline, resilience, and effective leadership. There were moments when I had to balance my personal goals with the responsibility of supporting others, and that experience helped me grow both professionally and personally.
I have also learned that leadership is not only about standing in the spotlight yourself, but about helping others shine as well. Looking back, I am proud of the fact that I have been able to pursue my own dreams while empowering other women to pursue theirs. This journey has strengthened my confidence and shown me that with passion, dedication, and belief in yourself, it is possible to achieve more than you think.
6) If you had to combine beauty, intelligence, and character into one definition, what would that definition be?
If I had to combine beauty, intelligence, and character into one definition, I would say that true beauty is the reflection of who you are on the inside and how you choose to share that with the world.
Beauty is not only about appearance; it is also about confidence, kindness, and the way you treat others. Intelligence gives you the ability to learn, grow, and make meaningful choices, while character shows your values, your integrity, and the person you are when no one is watching.
I believe one of the most powerful things a woman can do is use her voice to inspire others. A woman who believes in herself, shares her story, and empowers others creates a beauty that goes far beyond the outside. That is the kind of beauty that leaves a lasting impression.
7) As Miss Interglobal Netherlands, what message would you like to share with young women who look up to you?
As Miss Interglobal Netherlands, the message I would like to share with young women who look up to me is: never let anyone silence you.
Your story matters, your voice deserves to be heard, and your dreams deserve to be pursued. There will always be moments when you doubt yourself or face challenges, but those moments are exactly where you discover your strength.
I believe that every woman has the power to create an impact when she embraces who she is and dares to speak from the heart. Do not change yourself to fit into someone else’s expectations. Stay authentic, believe in your journey, and use your voice to inspire others.
Because one woman who believes in herself can inspire many more to believe in themselves too.
8) In your opinion, what makes Miss Interglobal unique compared to other international pageants?
In my opinion, what makes Miss Interglobal unique is that it goes beyond the traditional idea of a beauty pageant. It is not only about appearance, but about the woman behind the title, her story, her values, her intelligence, and the impact she wants to create.
Miss Interglobal brings women from different countries and cultures together, creating a platform where we can learn from each other, celebrate diversity, and build meaningful connections.
I believe a true international representative is someone who can inspire others, communicate with purpose, and use her position to make a positive difference. That combination of beauty, character, and global connection is what makes Miss Interglobal truly special.
9) How do you prepare yourself mentally for a competition where contestants from different countries and cultures come together?
Preparing myself mentally for a competition where women from different countries and cultures come together starts with believing in myself and trusting my own journey.
I remind myself that I am not there to be someone else; I am there to represent the Netherlands as the best version of myself. I focus on staying authentic, confident, and open to every experience this journey brings.
An international competition is not only about competing, but also about connecting, learning, and celebrating the unique stories of every woman involved. I am especially looking forward to learning from the stories and experiences of my sister queens, because every woman carries a journey that can inspire others.
I also hope to build meaningful international connections that can support and strengthen my advocacy, Unbroken Voices, where I want to create awareness and encourage women to use their voices and share their stories.
My goal is to step onto that international stage with confidence, gratitude, and an open heart, not only to represent the Netherlands, but also to create a positive impact beyond the competition itself.
10) You are not only a titleholder but also the director of Miss Destiny Netherlands. What inspired you to take on a leadership role within the pageant industry?
Taking on a leadership role as the Director of Miss Destiny Netherlands came from my passion for creating opportunities for other women.
My own journey in the pageant world showed me how powerful these platforms can be when they are used to build confidence, personal growth, and meaningful connections. I wanted to create a space where young women are not only prepared for a competition, but also supported in discovering their own strengths and potential.
Being a titleholder taught me the importance of having a voice, and being a director allows me to help others find and use theirs. For me, leadership is not about standing above others, it is about guiding, inspiring, and helping people become the best version of themselves.
That is what inspired me to take on this role within the pageant industry.
11) What qualities do you look for in young women who participate in Miss Destiny Netherlands
When I look for young women who participate in Miss Destiny Netherlands, I look beyond appearance. Of course, confidence and presentation are important, but I believe the most powerful qualities come from within.
I look for women who are authentic, driven, kind, and willing to grow. A strong candidate is someone who has a story, a purpose, and the courage to use her voice.
I also value resilience, because every woman’s journey comes with challenges. The ability to learn, overcome obstacles, and continue believing in yourself is what creates true strength.
For me, Miss Destiny Netherlands is about empowering women to discover their potential, not only as contestants, but as future leaders who can inspire others.
12) What brings you the greatest sense of fulfillment: standing on stage yourself or guiding others toward their own success?
What gives me the greatest sense of fulfillment is being able to guide others toward their own success.
Of course, standing on stage and representing a title is a beautiful and meaningful experience, but I believe the true impact comes from what you do beyond yourself. Seeing another woman gain confidence, discover her strengths, and believe in her own potential is incredibly rewarding.
My journey has taught me that leadership is not about being the only person in the spotlight; it is about creating space for others to shine as well.
As a titleholder and as a director, I feel most fulfilled when I can inspire, support, and help other women realize that their voice and dreams truly matter.
13) How do you see the role of beauty queens evolving in a world that is becoming increasingly fast-paced and interconnected?
I believe the role of beauty queens is evolving into something much more powerful than just representing beauty. In today’s world, a beauty queen is also a role model, a leader, and someone who can use her platform to create awareness and inspire change.
With social media and the world becoming more connected, we have the opportunity to reach people across borders and share meaningful messages. A title is not only a crown; it is a responsibility to represent values, encourage conversations, and make a positive impact.
I believe the beauty queens of the future are women who combine confidence, intelligence, compassion, and purpose. They are women who use their voices, not only for themselves, but to uplift and empower others.
For me, true influence comes from the ability to connect with people and leave a positive mark on the world.
14) Which person has had the greatest influence on your life or career, and why?
The person who has influenced my life and career the most is my mother.
She has always been one of my greatest sources of strength, support, and inspiration. Through her actions, she taught me the importance of resilience, kindness, determination, and staying true to yourself.
She showed me that a strong woman is not only someone who achieves her own goals, but also someone who supports and empowers the people around her. Many of the values I carry today, my dedication, my passion for helping others, and my belief in using my voice are inspired by the example she has given me.
I am grateful for everything she has taught me, because she helped shape the woman I am today.
15) If you could reach every young girl in the Netherlands for just one day, what life lesson would you want to share with them?
If I could reach every young girl in the Netherlands for one day, the life lesson I would share with them is: never underestimate your own worth.
Never let anyone make you feel that your voice does not matter or that your dreams are too big. Your story, your experiences, and your perspective are valuable, and the world deserves to hear them.
There will be moments of doubt and challenges along the way, but those moments do not define you they help you discover your strength. Believe in yourself, stay true to who you are, and never be afraid to take up space.
Because when one woman finds the courage to use her voice, she can inspire many others to find theirs too.
16) Looking back on everything you have achieved so far, which moment are you most proud of?
Looking back at everything I have achieved so far, one of the moments I am most proud of is the creation of Miss Destiny Netherlands.
What makes this journey so special to me is that while I was preparing for my own international journey as Miss Interglobal Netherlands 2026, I was also building a platform where other women could discover their own confidence, purpose, and voice.
Seeing our very first edition come to life and having the opportunity to crown seven incredible queens who will now share their stories and represent their own journeys internationally is something I am truly proud of.
It showed me that a dream can become bigger than yourself. Miss Destiny started with a vision, and seeing these women step into their power reminds me why I believe so strongly in creating opportunities for others.
For me, the greatest achievement is not only wearing a crown, but creating a platform where other women can find theirs.
17) What are your biggest dreams for the next five years, both within and beyond the world of pageantry?
My biggest dreams for the next five years are to continue growing both personally and professionally, while using every opportunity I receive to create a positive impact.
Within the pageant world, I hope to continue developing Miss Destiny Netherlands into an international platform that empowers women, creates opportunities, and gives women a space to share their stories and use their voices.
As I travel internationally with my queens, I also hope to build meaningful connections with inspiring people, organizations, and leaders from different countries. I believe these international relationships can create new opportunities, collaborations, and projects that go beyond borders.
Beyond pageantry, I want to continue developing my advocacy, Unbroken Voices, and create initiatives that encourage women to believe in themselves and the power of their own story.
My dream is not only to achieve success for myself, but to build something lasting, a legacy where the success of one woman helps open doors for many others.
18) Naomi, your journey allows you to connect with inspiring people from different countries and cultures. What qualities do you value most in someone with whom you would like to have a meaningful conversation about dreams, leadership, international projects, and the future?
The qualities I value most in someone I would like to have a meaningful conversation with are authenticity, curiosity, and a genuine desire to make a difference.
I am always inspired by people who have a story to share, who are open to learning from others, and who are passionate about creating positive change. I believe the most powerful conversations happen when people come together with different experiences, cultures, and perspectives.
When discussing dreams, leadership, international projects, and the future, I value someone who thinks beyond themselves someone who believes in collaboration, empowerment, and creating opportunities for others.
For me, true connection comes from being able to inspire each other, exchange ideas, and leave a conversation with a new perspective and renewed motivation.
