1.- Brooke, you were born inUSA, What do you like about your hometown in USA?
I love the diversity, everyone comes from a different background with a different story, as well as the food, nothing beats New Mexico chili!
2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
I spend a lot of time with my family, we are all super close so it’s always a good time! I also enjoy crafting. I used to have a small business but being a full time college student and model I dont have as much time for it! Modeling ,photoshoots, runway shows and meeting people is what brings me joy!
3.- International Model – When do you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I decided to enter my first beauty pageant in 2021, it was right after the pandemic. I felt very isolated and shy so I knew I needed to do something to get out of my comfort zone. I ended up placing in the Top 5 for Miss New Mexico Teen USA! I met some of my best friends in the process, as well as better public speaking and stage presence! About 6 months later a designer in New York saw my headshot and reached out! If I would have never decided to compete in the pageant I would not have all the opportunities I have now. I feel incredibly grateful and fulfilled. Achieving my dreams, pursuing my passions, and being recognized as an influential model brings me so much joy and inspires me to keep pushing forward.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Brooke in each activity carried out as a person and model?
I think when I go to shows and photoshoots, or when meeting models, designers and photographers I always go in with a positive and friendly attitude. I bring my own personal touch to everything I do, you have to in this industry in order to stick out from the rest! Being kind to everyone you meet and always be willing to learn.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
I feel it’s important for models and really anyone in any profession to be humble. To be thankful for what they do and what they have.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Since I started modeling I have received messages and comments from girls all over the world asking for advice, congratulating me and overall just being super supportive. Girls I’ve never even met before! And I love talking to them, not only do I inspire them, but they inspire me. My younger self would have never guessed where I am now so I love helping other girls wanting to pursue their dream. Being a model is great, but being able to inspire and empower others is even better!
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
When I walked New York Fashion Week for the first time, I remember stepping out onto the runway and everything going silent. I consider myself to be relatively shy but when I was walking down the runway it felt so natural. It felt as if i’ve walked hundreds of catwalks. When I got to the end of the runway I heard people clapping and it felt like thousands of camera flashes were going off. It’s my favorite feeling.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social Media benefits models and influencers a lot, we are able to share all our work with people from all over the world, as well as connect with others. It has opened up so many opportunities and possibilities! I think everyone is able to express themselves which is a great thing.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love instagram, ever since my following increased i’ve been sharing even more photos, it’s so much fun! Everytime I have a show or photoshoot I make a reel of everything I recorded and put it together to share with my followers!
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
I would tell young people that everyone has talents. Sometimes you just have to look for yours and cultivate that talent. I would tell them you are going to fail when you take chances, but you learn and move forward. The saying is true “if you try you may fail, but if you do not try, you’re sure to fail.” Believe in yourself even when others don’t. It’s a tough world, there are lots of obstacles, when parents see that their children are trying to do something for themselves, a dream they may have, parents should support that for their children. If they don’t want to support it, definitely do not hinder their efforts and ambitions.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I have learned there are many people in this industry that are passionate about what they do, and most of the people I have met want to help you. This is an exciting industry and its fast moving, that being said, I have learned that I will not always be what a particular show or designer is looking for, but to keep moving forward and that I am going to meet with rejection but I will not give up, I will keep trying no matter how many times I fail!
12.- Brooke, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
The obstacles I have faced have been not getting to walk for every designer I want to and being rejected, I learn from it and move on. The obstacle is rejection, you must know you will not always be the perfect fit, but it’s okay because you wont give up.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Modeling and acting can come hand in hand, as of now modeling is my main focus. Maybe one day in the future I will venture into the entertainment industry, but for now my heart belongs to the fashion industry!
14.- Brooke, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
I am very grateful for the friends I have made, the opportunities I have been presented with, everyone I have met and especially my parents, who have supported me every step of the way. My motivation comes through wanting to be better than I was, wanting to learn even more and to leave a positive impact on everyone I meet. The support and encouragement I receive from my friends, family, and people on the internet inspires me to strive for more.
15.- Brooke, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from USA?
Our country is full of amazing places to visit. I would recommend New York, Washington D.C, Los Angeles and Dallas to anyone. I also love visiting small towns throughout the country ,they have so much history and character to them!
