1.- Tjesta, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Echt, it’s a small village in the middle of Limburg. I like it here because it is not the biggest village you know almost everyone of your age.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I’m a very active person, 3 times in the week I play soccer in a women’s team, I also like to dance and then especially style dancing and in my spare time I go to the gym to workout. Outside of that I spend a lot of time with my family and to play with my dog.
3.- International Model – Miss Beauty of Limburg 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
My childhood was not the easiest because of that I never had the dreams to compete in a beauty show like this. Now that I’m older I see this as a chance to step out of my comfort zone and show an other side of me. Friends and family know me as an active girl who likes to sport a lot, not the girl who needs hours to do her make-up and also want to show other girls that everything can be possible. Now that I started this adventure I do everything that’s possible to win but I also want to enjoy this beautiful experience.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Tjesta in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
I always try to be myself. Like I said before I never was the girl who took al lot of time to get ready. Don’t get me wrong I was never going outside without taking care of myself but I didn’t used make-up a lot. That’s something a I want to show others “you don’t need make-up to be pretty’’ Everyone is beautiful the way he or she is.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?
The only thing you need in my eyes is to be confident and to be respectful to others.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes I am aware that you can be a role model for a large group of young people who look up to a Miss Beauty. For this reason, I believe that you should always demonstrate the importance of staying true to yourself and being honest. You aim to set a positive example, allowing these young girls to feel comfortable in their own bodies as well.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
To be honest at first it was a little bit awkward. I wasn’t used to all those faces looking at me. Now after a few weeks and getting amazing support from the organization and a good bond with all the other misses I feel a lot more confidence in the cameras.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is a beautiful place but can also be a very dangerous place. People on social media can act anonymously and because of that they can say very mean things. I experienced this myself one time and it hurt me a lot. But social media is also a good platform to express yourself in the way you like, share things with your friends, give or take advice from others and the most important of all: Enjoy yourself!
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? What’s your favorite social media?
Instagram is my favorite social media platform. Its easy to connect and react to people.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
If you have talent and like to do it, then follow your heart. For the parents it is important to support their children don’t say no but guide them in a good direction.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
If you feel comfortable in your own skin with your own style you still can be 10 times more pretty then in the best clothes.
12.- Tjesta, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
At first it was not easy because I wasn’t used to all the attention and camera’s. But with the right people around me who supported me it became a lot better.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes when I was a child I always wanted to play in musicals to dance and act a small role.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women everywhere around to world should have the freedom to pursue whatever they want and when they choose to. I’m passionate about advocating for a future where all this is possible and women have the same rights as man all around the globe.
15.- Tjesta, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My family and friends are my motivation to me. I’m very thankful that the helped me and supported me with the thing I want and like.
16.- Tjesta, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I really want to travel to every nice place I can think of. Till this day I visited a lot of countries in Europe but after my study I want to travel a lot more and further.
17.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.
