1. – Liselot, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Enschede and moved to Groningen when I was 12. I lived there until mid-2024 and have now moved back to Overdinkel, a small village near Enschede, but Enschede is better haha.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I have a lease pony called Blessie she is a Haflinger/KWPN. I played football for 4 years which I really enjoyed.
3.- International Model – Miss Teen of Overijssel 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model ? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I always told my mother that I wanted to become a model but because I struggled very much with my mental and physical health I always thought that this was not feasible but now I see all the possibilities that I can do and am so grateful for this.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Liselot in each activity carried out as a model?
I think what makes me so unique is that I was born with a darm sickness and A good kind of bone tumors and that has brought me a story that no one can steal. It was always super hard and I was always so scared to ask people for help but now I can take power from that. His is also my advocacy and I am super happy that I can help children/adults with my story and how I experienced it.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be a model?
Being open to everything, you will have nice experiences but also less pleasant experiences. And dare to make choices, mistakes are part of it and it also shapes you as a person and makes you who you are to this day.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I think it’s important when you’re building a platform for yourself that you know that a lot of people are going to look up to you and that it’s important that you set a good example and are honest with your followers
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?
I have not modeled for a brand yet but my first shoot ever was for myself and I was so happy and felt so lucky I finally got to do what I always wanted. And I hope I can make modeling my work later.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think social media is great i mean u can make a name for yourself, make friends, and promote your brand but social media also has a darker side. Think of sexting, bullying, or scams. we need to stop that and make social media a safe and lovely place for everyone.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
My favorite social platform I have to say Tiktok or Insta I don’t know haha Tiktok is more of a younger group and Insta is a bit older so it kinda depends on what kinda content u make but I post a lot on both
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
My advise is just to do what U want and not care what other people think. Everyone is going to judge and we are not going to change that so who cares do what is best for u and if someone doesn’t believe in u their fault because when u believe in yourself self u will do it dreams are NEVER too big and when u succeed it’s on them and their loss.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion ?
I’ve learned not to be scared to make some risky choices because you will find something u like when u have 2 super different things It doesn’t mean u can do anything with them it’s not what u have but what u do with them you can make everything work.
12.- Liselot, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
I haven’t modeled for brands but would love to change that i think my biggest dream would be Dior I just love that brand from bags to their makeup.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I have actually haha. I love the industry and u can go every way with acting. My fav actress needs to be Madelyn Cline I think she is amazing at her work and she is definitely a person I look up to but yes I would LOVE to become an actress.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I would say that every woman has rights in this world and choices that are made but not everyone respects that. And exactly what needs to change this world is for everyone so everyone has rights and we need to respect that and support everyone with their choice. If we do that the world will be better and safer for everyone
15.- Liselot, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is just to think of what I have already done and to look to the past just makes me more exiting for further so even though the past was hard I am grateful it happened because it made me the person I am today and am super happy of who I am.
16.- Liselot, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I love to travel we go to Italy the most and I loved it last year I have been to Paris and London. I really want to go to America to have a high school experience but I am a bit too young now so that is something for the future. I was in Paris when the Olympics were going on so I wanna go again when it is a bit calmer. oeh and Valencia is so good you really need to visit them in the summer.
