1. – Linn, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Medemblik. What I love about my hometown is that you can easily find both the hustle and bustle of the city and the peace and quiet you need. It’s the perfect balance for me.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies include experimenting with makeup, styling my hair, and picking out outfits. I also love spending time with my friends and family. These simple moments bring me so much joy and laughter.
3.-International Model, Miss Teen of Noord-Holland 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I first took part in a pageant last year at the Miss Teen of Noord-Holland 2024 casting, but I wasn’t selected. That setback motivated me to try again, and now I’m proud to be a finalist for Miss Teen of Noord-Holland 2025.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Linn in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
What sets me apart is that I always stay true to my authentic self. Even when faced with doubts or criticism, I stick to my values and goals. My belief in myself and my resilience help me push through any challenges I face.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Self-confidence and determination are key. Self-confidence helps you stand out and feel comfortable in your own skin, while determination helps you overcome the obstacles and rejections you’ll inevitably face.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I know that many young girls look up to me as they dream of being in a pageant. It means a lot to me to be an inspiration to others. I hope that through my journey, I can show them that with self-belief, anything is possible.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I stood in front of the camera, I was nervous but excited. It was definitely outside my comfort zone, and it still is at times, but I’m slowly starting to enjoy it more and more.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
Social media is a powerful tool for connecting people across the globe. It allows us to share our stories, showcase our creativity, and raise awareness about important causes. But it’s important to use it responsibly and not let it negatively affect our mental health.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I love connecting with my followers through DMs and comments. I enjoy hearing their stories and supporting them in any way I can. Instagram is my favorite platform because it allows me to engage with people on a personal level.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
Before joining the pageant, I already understood the importance of knowing my self-worth and loving myself. The pageant has given me a platform to not only demonstrate this but also to inspire other girls to do the same. My advice to young people is to believe in themselves and take that first step. For parents, I would suggest that they listen to their children and encourage them to pursue what makes them happy. Talent is a gift, and with support, kids can achieve great things.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
I’ve learned that growth comes from overcoming challenges and staying true to yourself. Beauty pageants have taught me the value of resilience and how to build self-confidence while staying focused on my goals.
12.- Linn, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Becoming a finalist in Miss Teen of Noord-Holland wasn’t easy. I was rejected the first time I tried, but I didn’t give up. A year later, I’m proud to call myself a finalist for Miss Teen of Noord-Holland 2025. It was a journey that taught me the importance of perseverance.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I’ve never really thought about being an actress. My focus is entirely on pageants right now. The entertainment industry is exciting, but my passion lies in pageantry, where I can express myself and grow as a person.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that women’s roles will continue to grow stronger globally, even in societies where they are still oppressed. Education and empowerment are key to creating change. I find it beautiful that Miss Beauty of the Netherlands supports Simavi, an organization that works for women’s health and rights. I’m proud to be part of this initiative and contribute to such an important cause.
15.- Linn, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from wanting to inspire others and to challenge myself to become the best version of me. I’m grateful for the love and support of my family and friends, the opportunities that come my way, and the small moments that make life special.
16.- Linn, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
Yes, I love traveling! I’ve been to countries like France, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, but my favorite place so far has been Brazil – the culture and scenery are amazing. As for the Netherlands, I would highly recommend visiting Amsterdam. It has a rich history, beautiful canals, and plenty of things to explore.
