1.- Christa ,What do you like about your hometown in USA? What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or does it give you a lot of joy?
I love how kind everyone in my state and hometown is. Even if you don’t know each other, people from New Jersey are very quick to help out a neighbor in need.
My hobbies are coaching cheerleading and baking.
My dogs, baking, and spending time with family and friends gives me joy.
2.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Christa in each activity carried out as a person and beauty queen?
The distinctive, unique stamp of Christa that I carry out in each activity is always making whoever I’m with feels special and giving my full attention to the activity I’m participating in.
3.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be a beauty queen?
The main virtues in a beauty queen are confidence and having a genuinely good heart. These set up a beauty queen for success, both on the stage and in relationships made through pageantry and modeling.
4.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
I love being an influential role model for many girls and teenagers. In a world where many times women are judged unfairly for decisions they make and jobs they do, girls and teenagers need to see that no matter what any one says, it’s okay to just be yourself. The more positive female role models there are in the world, the more we can empower the next generation of strong, beautiful, independent women.
5.- What do you think about the power of social networks today?
I think the power of social networks is amazing. With social media, you have the ability to connect with people from around the world. It also gives you a platform to really try to make a difference in your hometown, home state, and around the world.
6.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social networks? Whats your favorite social network?
To interact with my followers, I like to exchange likes and comments on each other’s posts. To me, a like says “hey, I see this, this is cool/interesting” while a comment says “hey, I’m really paying attention to you and really want to support you”. I also message back and forth with followers. My favorite social media is Instagram.
7.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
The most important lesson I have learned from the world of fashion and pageantry is that even if you’re not feeling confident, you just have to fake it until you do. This helped me gain the confidence I have, since when I started in pageantry I had about half the confidence I have today.
8.- Christa, being a beauty queen for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?
The biggest obstacle for me in the world of beauty has been my confidence. When I first started out, I was still becoming comfortable in who I am. To overcome this, I faked the confidence I knew I lacked and surrounded myself with people who encouraged me to be myself 100%. Without my support system, I wouldn’t be who I am today.
9.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe all women are capable of doing great, amazing things with their lives, but also know it is made difficult for women to have a greater role in some parts of the world. I am hopeful that with the constantly changing world, women in societies where they are still abused will one day be able to walk more freely and live more closely to how their sisters around the world live.
10.- Christa Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from USA?
I love traveling, but have unfortunately have not ventured outside the USA yet. At the top of my bucket list of countries to visit are Greece, Italy, Ireland, and Spain. For anyone coming to the USA, I would highly recommend visiting New York, Tennessee, New Jersey (especially the shoreline in the summer), and the beaches of North Carolina and South Carolina. If you love history, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC are also amazing.
