Georgia Grace Gleeson – Official Website

Born and raised in South West Sydney, Georgia Grace Gleeson represents a new generation of Australian beauty: authentic, compassionate and purpose-driven. Growing up in a deeply multicultural community shaped her open-minded worldview and strong sense of inclusion—values that continue to guide her journey today as a Miss Galaxy Australia National Finalist 2026.

Dance has been Georgia’s constant since the age of two. What began as a passion quickly became a second home, teaching her discipline, storytelling and emotional expression through movement. From classical dance to aerial acrobatics on the Lyra hoop, Georgia finds freedom and joy in creative motion, using her body as a language to communicate resilience and emotion.

Her entry into the world of modelling began at just 12 years old, but it was in 2024 that she truly found her place within the Galaxy Pageant system—one that aligned perfectly with her values, morals and beliefs. During a period marked by anxiety, pageantry became a source of healing, clarity and empowerment. Since then, Georgia has dedicated herself to community service, volunteering with organisations such as Heart Kids, Share The Dignity, Walk for Prems and local environmental initiatives.

Relatable, emotionally intelligent and unafraid to show vulnerability, Georgia believes true queens are defined not by perfection, but by heart. Today, she proudly uses her voice and platform to inspire young women to be seen, heard and unapologetically themselves.

1.- Georgia, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. What do you like about your hometown?

I was born and raised in South West Sydney and went to a small primary school with around 107 students. I was then given the opportunity to further my education and move to Southern Sydney for the rest of my primary and High School Studying. The thing I love most about my hometown is how multicultural it is being immersed in a vibrant diverse community.

2.- What are your hobbies? What makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?

I have been a dancer from the age of two and it has truly felt like a second home. Over the years dance has been the one thing that has never changed. Dance has challenged me, brought out the best in me and taught me many life lessons. It gives me such thorough enjoyment to tell stories through movement. I have also branched my dancing out into aerial acro with learning how to perform in a Lyra hoop. I love any way that I am able to move my body creatively and let all my cares drift away!

3.- Miss Galaxy Australia National finalist 2026 . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have about achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?

I took my first steps as a model when I was scouted at a shopping mall for a modelling agency at the age of 12. My first steps into pageant land was in 2024 when I noticed that my values, morals and beliefs matched perfectly with the Australia Galaxy Pageant system. At the time I was experiencing an overwhelming amount of anxiety and as soon as I entered pageant land I felt a sense of relief, like I had arrived home. From that point I knew who I was meant to be… a Galaxy Girl! Over the past months I have been volunteering within local communities helping out with large causes. I have worked with organisations such as Heart Kids, Share The Dignity, Local Councils tree planting, FSHD, Walk For Prems and many more.

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Georgia in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?

My unique Georgia stamp would have to be wearing my heart on my sleeve. I truly care so much about each organisation I am able to touch and each person’s life I can help change. After each event I debrief with my mum and it always ends up in what more can we do to help them!

5.- What is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an international model?

I believe you must be able to be relatable as an International Queen/Model. People want to see someone they can aspire to be like from all walks of life. No one wants to see a perfect Barbie clone, they want to be able to acknowledge personality, growth and flaws because nobody is perfect! As a perfectionist, I struggle to let people see the moments when things are not precisely polished or planned but it is those moments when people see the real queen. The girl behind all of the sparkle must be the same girl who is seen onstage for someone to be a true queen.

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?

It is extremely important for me to be able to be a role model as a young adult. I am in the next generation of powerhouse women and I want to inspire them to put themselves out to be seen and make themselves heard. Everyone deserves for their voice to be heard not only for themselves but to benefit the following women behind her.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?

The first time I competed in Australia Galaxy Pageants I was really nervous but as soon as it started I was in my element. It is always good to remind yourself there is so much more than just what is seen onstage or behind the camera!

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?

Social media is powerful in connecting the world together, I love that aspect. I also believe it is damaging to young minds creating bad habits of comparison and unrealistic standards. You only see so much from behind a screen and there is so much more than what is seen on your feed. It is feeding the increasing amount of perfectionists and it is a mind battling game to play with yourself. However I have to acknowledge the powerful movements that occur because of social media! Mental health is becoming more prevalent, acknowledging and bringing resources to people across the globe.

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?

I love to interact through relatable posts on Instagram! But I do love Tik Tok bringing the dance community together and giving creatives a platform to share their unique talent.

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?

I would advise young people who have talent to start small and simple like a local fashion show or even community performances. Just getting yourself in front of a crowd really helps to feel what it is like to have an audience and build your resume. I would encourage parents to hear out their child’s talent and know that they can provide boundaries.

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?

From Australia Galaxy Pageants I have learnt that there is space for everyone in everybody. You just have to find the right system that aligns with your values.

12.- Georgia, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?

I have had to develop my confidence and self belief. It is difficult coming from a sport like dance where you are always looking in a mirror comparing yourself to the girl next to you. You are constantly put in formations that reflect the talent of how your one teacher perceives you. Coming into pageants I believe it has helped me grow my self confidence but also realise that everyone has flaws. Knowing that it is okay to not be perfect and lots of training nurturing my mental health has helped me overcome those obstacles.

13.- Have you thought about becoming an actress?. Do you like the entertainment industry?

I only dream about becoming an actress, I have been featured in a movie recently as a background actress and it was so fun! I could definitely see my creative mind in this field pursuing acting as a career.

14.- Georgia, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?

I am continuously grateful everyday for the ongoing support from my family. I would not be able to be in the position I am in today without them. I am most motivated by ensuring the younger me is proud of what she has become and her achievements.

15.- Georgia, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?

I love to travel. I have been to multiple destinations around the globe such as Paris, Los Angeles and all around Australia. I would love to visit more locations in the future! I would recommend visiting Sydney Australia, seeing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I am so lucky for these once in a lifetime landmarks to be in my own backyard.

16.- You and me (Jaime William) are going to play ping pong, I will tell you one word and you will answer with another word that comes to your mind.
