In this exclusive interview with Perumira Global Talent, Kim shares her journey through the world of pageantry, her inspirations, and the powerful lessons she has learned while wearing the colors of Germany. From the heart of Münster to the most prestigious international stages, she continues to inspire a new generation of empowered women.

1. – Kim, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born and raised in Münster, Northrhine-Westphalia, Germany. I was raised in a good environment and although I grew up as the only child in my family and lacked for nothing, I remained very down-to-earth and quickly learned how to manage money. By the age of 15 I was already tutoring. I spent my school years at a private episcopal girls’ high school.
What I love about Münster is its Christian heritage as I am deeply religious. Faith has always accompanied me whether through my school years, singing in the cathedral choir, my volunteer work in the diocese or in my personal life.
I also love the rural charm and nature in Münster which provides a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Additionally Münster is Germany’s most famous cycling city and as someone who enjoys cycling this is another reason why I appreciate the city.
Münster is also a vibrant student city, hosting a large university and various colleges. This has led to a diverse population of young and old, creating a dynamic and welcoming atmosphere. The city embraces a «young lifestyle,» with many trendy (and often vegan) cafés and restaurants that cater to modern tastes.
On the Prinzipalmarkt, you can find a variety of shops offering options for every budget, making it an enjoyable place to explore. Additionally, the weekly farmers’ market is a highlight, offering fresh produce, local delicacies, and a lively atmosphere.
Moreover Münster is known for its beautiful historic architecture such as the Prinzipalmarkt, the St. Paul’s Cathedral and its picturesque promenade. The combination of tradition, modernity, and a vibrant community makes Münster truly special.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My hobbies include sports, learning languages, traveling, modeling, acting, volunteering, reading and spending time with family and friends.
What gives me the most joy are the simple moments I share with my loved ones—whether it’s spending quality time with my family, catching up with friends or relaxing with my boyfriend. I also find great happiness in being around my two cats; their playful antics and affectionate nature always bring a smile to my face.

When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I started my modeling journey in 2012 at the age of 15. Back then there were no smartphones or social media and I was discovered in a very traditional way—scouted on the street. Since then I’ve had various modeling jobs. In 2015 at the age of 18 I participated in my first national beauty pageants. Until then I had never really been involved with the world of pageantry but after seeing an announcement in a local newspaper in my hometown I decided to try my luck at my first competition. This marked the beginning of my journey in beauty pageants with several more following shortly after.
After taking a break from pageants for a while (though I continued modeling) I returned to the scene in 2023 where I actively competed again and even earned several international titles for Germany. However my proudest achievement remains reaching the Top 14 at Miss Universe Estonia representing the country of my roots. It’s an accomplishment that holds a special place in my heart.
In addition to modeling and pageantry I am deeply committed to volunteer work. I am actively involved in supporting a women’s shelter and contributing to church activities. Empowering young women and being a role model for them is a mission close to my heart. I aim to inspire them to believe in themselves pursue their dreams and embrace their worth.
I also see my reach as an influencer as a powerful tool to promote these values. Through my platform I strive to raise awareness share positive messages and encourage others to make a difference in their communities. Achieving my dreams has been incredibly rewarding but being able to use my journey to inspire and uplift others is the ultimate highlight of my career.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Kim in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
What sets me apart as a beauty queen and model is my authenticity, passion, and dedication to making a positive impact. Whether I’m on the runway, in a photoshoot, or participating in a pageant, I bring a genuine sense of purpose to everything I do.
As a beauty queen, I believe my unique stamp lies in using my platform to inspire and empower others. I am deeply committed to being a role model for young women, encouraging them to embrace their individuality and pursue their dreams with confidence. My volunteer work, such as supporting women’s shelters and church initiatives, reflects my dedication to giving back and using my influence for good.
As a model, my versatility, professionalism, and ability to adapt to diverse creative visions make me stand out. I approach every project with enthusiasm and a collaborative spirit, ensuring that I not only deliver exceptional results but also leave a lasting impression on the people I work with.
Ultimately, my goal is to bring meaning and heart to everything I do—combining beauty, substance, and purpose to create a legacy that inspires others.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
The main virtue any woman must have to succeed as an international model is resilience. The world of modeling is competitive and demanding requiring not only physical discipline but also mental strength and the ability to adapt to new environments and challenges.
For me resilience has been key to embracing opportunities on an international level. I have been fortunate to work on several international projects and to walk the runways of prestigious events like Berlin and Paris Fashion Week multiple times. Each experience has taught me the importance of perseverance professionalism and staying true to myself while representing diverse creative visions.
In addition confidence and the ability to connect with others are essential virtues. An international model must carry herself with grace and authenticity inspiring those around her while staying grounded. These qualities allow her to not only excel in her career but also to leave a lasting impression wherever she goes.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
Yes, I am aware that I am an inspiring woman for many girls who dream of becoming models. It is incredibly important to me to be a role model and show others that anything is possible if you work hard for it and believe in yourself.
It’s a responsibility I take very seriously. For me, it’s not just about outer beauty but also about inner strength and self-confidence. I want to show girls and teenagers that they shouldn’t let doubts or societal norms hold them back. Anyone can pursue their dreams if they believe in themselves and have the courage to live them.
It fills me with pride to take on this role and know that I can have a positive influence on the next generation. Seeing how young women feel motivated by my journey to chase their own goals is one of the greatest rewards for me.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
The first time I modeled in front of a video camera I felt a mix of excitement and nervousness. It was a completely new experience for me and I wasn’t sure what to expect. But once I got into the flow of it I realized how much I enjoyed it. There’s something magical about being in front of the camera and bringing a vision to life. It made me feel confident and empowered.
The first time I participated in a beauty pageant I felt nervous but also proud. It was a completely different world from modeling and I wasn’t sure if I would fit in. But as soon as I got on stage and embraced the experience it felt amazing. I learned that beauty pageants are not just about looks but also about grace, confidence and representing something bigger than yourself. The feeling of walking on that stage for the first time was unforgettable and pushed me to keep going.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I believe social media today has an immense power both positive and negative. It allows people to connect with each other globally, share ideas and promote important causes. For someone like me, it’s been a great platform to reach a wider audience, inspire others and build a personal brand. However I also think it’s important to stay grounded. Social media can sometimes create unrealistic expectations or pressure but it’s all about how you choose to use it.
Personally, I try to use my platform to spread positivity, share my experiences and motivate others. I believe social media is a tool that can be used to empower people, especially young women, if it’s approached with the right mindset. It’s about being authentic and using your voice to make a meaningful impact.
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I try to stay active on all social media platforms to connect with my followers as each platform offers something unique. However, I feel I connect the best with my audience on Instagram. It’s a platform where I can truly express myself, share moments from my daily life, showcase my work and engage with my followers in a meaningful way. Instagram has also given me the largest reach and I love how interactive it is—whether it’s through stories, posts or direct messages, I enjoy having the opportunity to engage with my community.
While I use other social media platforms as well, Instagram remains my favorite because it allows me to share more personal and creative content with my followers, making the interaction feel more genuine.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
For young people who have talent but are hesitant to take the next step, my advice would be to believe in themselves and take that first step no matter how small. The journey towards success often begins with stepping out of your comfort zone and facing your fears. Don’t let doubts hold you back but remember that failure is part of the process—it’s how you learn and grow. Surround yourself with positive influences and people who believe in you. Keep working on your craft and the right opportunities will come.
To parents who may not support their children’s talents, I would say it’s important to listen and understand their passions. Supporting your child’s dreams doesn’t mean pushing them into something they don’t want but it does mean encouraging their potential and helping them build confidence. Every child is different and nurturing their talents can open doors for personal growth and happiness. It’s essential to be there for them and provide the guidance they need even if the path they choose isn’t what you envisioned for them.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
The world of fashion and beauty pageants has taught me that it is a very competitive and demanding industry but also incredibly rewarding. It’s a hard business that requires perseverance, resilience and a strong belief in yourself. There are times when things don’t go as planned or when criticism can feel overwhelming but I’ve learned never to give up. Success doesn’t come overnight and every challenge is an opportunity to grow stronger and better.
One of the most beautiful lessons I’ve learned is the value of sisterhood. Despite the competitive nature of the industry, I have met incredible women who support and inspire one another. These bonds go beyond the stage and have shown me how powerful women can be when they uplift each other. Sisterhood is not just about friendship but about celebrating each other’s strengths and being there through challenges.
I’ve also learned the importance of authenticity and staying true to yourself. In an industry that often focuses on external beauty, inner strength and character are what truly set you apart. Building genuine connections, staying professional and having a positive attitude are just as important as your appearance.
Lastly, these experiences have taught me the value of teamwork and support. Behind every model or beauty queen there is a team of people who contribute to the journey. Respecting and appreciating their efforts has been a key lesson for me.
12.- Kim, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
Being a model has never been easy for me. Like many others, I faced numerous obstacles along the way. From the pressure to meet industry standards to navigating a highly competitive environment, there were moments when self-doubt crept in. Additionally, starting out at a time when social media wasn’t as prominent meant that opportunities weren’t as easily accessible as they are today.
One of the biggest challenges was learning to handle rejection and criticism. In this industry, it’s inevitable but I’ve learned not to take it personally. Instead, I use it as motivation to improve and grow. Staying focused on my goals and believing in my unique qualities helped me overcome these hurdles.
Another challenge was balancing modeling with other responsibilities in my life. Time management and staying disciplined were key to ensuring I could give my best to everything I committed to.
The support of my family, friends and faith played a significant role in overcoming these obstacles. They reminded me of my worth and encouraged me to keep pushing forward. Over time, I realized that perseverance, resilience and staying true to myself are the keys to succeeding in this industry. Obstacles are a part of any journey but they shape you into a stronger and more confident person.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
In my opinion modeling and acting go together hand in hand, so yes, I have always had a passion for the entertainment industry. I was fortunate to receive formal acting training during my school years and I’ve continued to develop my skills over time. Acting has been a natural extension of my modeling career allowing me to explore new ways of expressing myself and telling stories.
Whenever I’m not working on a modeling job I often find myself involved in acting projects. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to be part of large international productions which was a dream come true and I’ve also taken on smaller roles in national productions. Each experience has taught me something new and has allowed me to grow as a performer.
The entertainment industry is dynamic and exciting and I enjoy the creativity it allows me to explore. Whether I’m in front of the camera as a model or as an actress I love the challenge of bringing ideas and emotions to life.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I believe that the role of women in society is continuing to evolve and while progress has been made worldwide there is still a long way to go in many places where women face oppression and abuse. Women are strong, capable and deserving of equal opportunities and respect and it is essential for societies to recognize this and create environments where they can thrive.
Education and empowerment are key factors in transforming these societies. When women are given access to education, resources and opportunities they not only uplift themselves but also contribute significantly to their families, communities and nations. It’s not just about fighting for equality but also about breaking stereotypes and proving that women can excel in any field they choose.
In the future I see women playing even more significant roles as leaders, innovators and changemakers. However this requires a collective effort from governments, organizations and individuals to challenge systemic issues and advocate for women’s rights. Change is possible when we all work together to support and uplift women everywhere.
15.- Kim, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation comes from the desire to continuously grow and improve both personally and professionally. Every day I’m driven by the opportunity to challenge myself, overcome obstacles and reach new milestones in my career and life. The pursuit of my goals whether in modeling, acting or personal development fuels my passion and keeps me focused.
I feel incredibly grateful every day for my health and the health of my family which allows us to live active and fulfilling lives. I’m also thankful for the love and support of my family, friends and the people around me who encourage me to be the best version of myself. My gratitude extends to the opportunities I’ve had to pursue my passions and the privilege of connecting with others through my work. Ultimately I’m grateful for the lessons life teaches me every day and for the ability to share my journey with those who support me.
16.- Kim, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I absolutely love traveling, especially because I am already speaking 5 languages (German, English, Russian, French, Spanish) and still learning more languages. Exploring new cultures, meeting new people and experiencing unique landscapes is something that inspires and enriches me deeply.
I’ve had the privilege of visiting several countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
There are still so many places I’d love to explore! On my travel list are countries like Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Dominican Republic, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Monaco, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and the United States.
If you’re planning to visit Germany, there are so many amazing places to see. In Cologne I recommend the breathtaking Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) and a stroll along the Rhine promenade. The city’s vibrant atmosphere during the Cologne Carnival is also something you shouldn’t miss. Nearby in Bonn you can visit the Beethoven House, the birthplace of the famous composer and the picturesque Rheinaue park.
Beyond these cities Germany offers stunning natural landscapes such as the Black Forest for hiking, the Bavarian Alps for skiing and the romantic Rhine Valley with its castles and vineyards. For a more urban experience Berlin’s historical landmarks and Hamburg’s bustling harbor are must-sees. Germany truly has something for everyone from nature lovers to history enthusiasts.
