1.- Antonija, congratulations on representing your beauty and spirit on the road to Miss Universe Croatia 2025! How are you feeling during this exciting journey?
Thank you very much. I feel very excited and proud to be a part of this story and to represent myself on this journey.
2. Can you tell us when and how you decided to enter the world of pageantry? Was Miss Universe always your dream?
It all came into my life unplanned,still at the age of fifteen,when a photographer told me that I was the right person for this world. Miss Universe It wasn’t my dream,i didn’t expect it,but I’m glad for where I am today,and that an unexpected dream can happen.
3. What does your daily preparation look like leading up to the national competition?
My daily preparations before the competition are reduced to regular exercises,a healthy and balanced diet,those rehearsals for choreography and performance.
4. Are you working with any pageant coaches or mentors to enhance your stage presence and public speaking?
I’m collaborating with Marija Kraljević and Ivana Delač, she helped me a lot and Miss 2024.Zrinka Ćorić.
5. How important is physical fitness in your preparation, and do you follow a specific workout or nutrition plan?
Physical fitness plays an extremely important role in the preparation of,improves self- confidence and stamina. I have cardio running and cycling for my preparations.Diet plan absolutely,focus on fruits,vegetables,grains and hydration with enough water.
6. Tell us about your pageant training team—makeup artists, stylists, runway coaches. Who’s behind the scenes?
The competition team consists of the chief executive officers MiSs Universe Croatia Vladimir and Marija Kraljević,the former Miss Ivana Delač,and Miss 2024.Zrinka Ćorić. Maja Zatezalo she is in charge of makeup. The hairstayle is done by the girls from the hairdressing salonscissors and hair. Behind the scenes are four photographers and cameramen Boris Šeper and his assistant Mario,and Šime Aviani with Emanuell Mancy.
7. What role has your modeling agency or management played in supporting you through this competition?
My fashion agency Royal Models from Split played a big role in this competition,they gave me tremendous support. Director Damir Puhalović he is very happy and satisfield that I am in the opportunity to represent Croatia at this competition.
8. Are you involved in any advocacy or social projects that you plan to highlight during Miss Universe Croatia?
Yes,I am involved and I want to help the humanitarian organization Brave Bear,which focuses on helping children in need, especially those who are sick, helpless,abandoned or poor. And I want to get involved in a social project in the field of ecology and environmental protection.
9. How do you stay mentally and emotionally balanced with the pressure of such a prestigious competition?
Set realistic expectations,understanding that competition is only one aspect of life. Focus on your own development and experience. Excercise regularly and reduce stress.
10. What is your personal definition of beauty, and how do you express it on and off the stage?
My definition of beauty often refers to harmony and expressiveness.On stage, I express it with clothes,make-up and scenography.Offstage with self-confidence,kidness and empathy.
11. How would you describe your unique style and personality that you bring to the Miss Universe stage?
I would describe myself by being very relaxed,happy and being able to show myself as I am on stage.
12. What have you learned the most about yourself throughout your pageant journey so far?
The most I’ve learned about myself during this journey is that I need a lot more confidence and faith in myself,that not everything is so black in the life,and that there are very nice things that need to happen,life hurts you sometimes,but it also makes you stronger.
13. If crowned Miss Universe Croatia, what message would you want to share with young women in your country?
I would tell them to believe in themselves, their abilities and potential. You are amazing and you can achieve anything you can imagine. Be brave,don’t be afraid to take risks,sometimes the biggest rewards are hidden behind the biggest challenges.
Learn from mistakes,failures are on integral part of the journey. Be patient,the search for dreams takes time and effort,don’t give up on your goals. Be true to yourself and your values.You’re not trying to be someone else.
14. Which former Miss Universe titleholders do you admire the most and why?
I’m very impressed with Miss Zrinka Ćorić, her beauty,personality and ambitions.I like her self-confidence and positive attitude,she is a fascinanting person. I’m admiring and Ivana Delač because she is realistic and not afraid of challenges,she is strong and brave,dedicated and ambitious,but also empathetic.
15. Do you have a signature walk, pose, or look that you’ve been perfecting for the final night?
Of course I have, I have my few poses that i will present at the competition and my magical seductive looks towards the audience with an elegant and special gait.
16. What kind of gown or fashion statement are you planning to showcase for the final show—can you give us a hint?
I’II present the dress Baribi in heels Baldinini and swimsuit Pletix.
17. Croatia is known for its culture and beauty. How do you plan to represent your country on the global stage?
I plan to represent my country on the global stage by promoting our identity,economic development and growth. We are also known for our sporting successes,which represents national pride and unity for us.
18. What would it mean to you personally to become Miss Universe Croatia 2025?
It would mean a lot to me because it would open the door even more to many opportunities in my career,including modeling, and public speaking and humanitarian work.
This title is not only about appearance,but also about strengh,self-confidence and the ability to influence society.
