1. – Tyeisha, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?

I was born and raised in Leeuwarden, a city in the north of the Netherlands. What I love about Leeuwarden is its cozy atmosphere and the beautiful canals. It’s a peaceful place that always feels familiar. I later moved to Groningen for my studies, which has a very different energy. livelier and full of opportunities. Both cities hold a special place in my heart for different reasons.

2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?

One of my favorite hobbies is practicing yoga. It helps me feel grounded and at peace. I also really enjoy working out, as it keeps me both physically and mentally strong.

What makes me laugh the most is spending time with my family and friends. Their energy, humor, and the fun moments we share always brighten my day and bring me so much joy.

3.- International Model – Miss Beauty of Groningen 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model ? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?

I decided to take my first steps when I was invited to participate in Miss Beauty of Groningen 2025. It was something I never thought I’d do, as I used to struggle with insecurities and challenges regarding my mental health. However, I saw this as an opportunity to step out of my comfort zone, inspire others, and embrace my own growth journey.

Achieving my dreams and pursuing my passions feels empowering. It shows me that no matter where you start or what you’ve been through, it’s possible to grow into the best version of yourself. Being recognized as a woman who inspires others is humbling and motivates me to continue sharing my story, helping others, and advocating for causes close to my heart. It’s an incredible feeling to turn my challenges into strength and to encourage others to do the same.

4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Tyeisha in each activity carried out as a model?

I think what makes me unique in this role is my willingness to embrace vulnerability and show that it’s okay to still be figuring things out. Being a model is something I’m still growing into, and I don’t always feel completely confident in this role. I sometimes find it challenging to fully show myself, but I’m learning to accept and embrace that part of the journey.

What matters most to me is creating a sense of safety. Where people feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable. I believe that true connection comes from authenticity, and that’s what I aim to bring to every activity I take part in. By being open about my own growth, I hope to inspire others to do the same.

5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be a model?

I believe confidence is the main virtue any woman must have to be a model. Confidence is about embracing who you are, flaws and all, and allowing your authenticity to shine. It’s not about perfection but about self-acceptance and showing up as your true self. Being confident also means trusting your journey, even when things feel uncertain. I’m still learning to build this confidence myself, and it’s a process I’m embracing. I want to inspire others to see that confidence is something we can grow into and it’s not about having it all figured out but about believing in your worth.

6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?

I’m humbled by the idea of inspiring young girls who want to be models. For me, it’s not about being perfect but showing that growth and self-acceptance are key. I want them to see that confidence comes from embracing who you are and that their worth is so much more than appearances. If I can help others feel seen and inspired to chase their dreams, that means everything to me.

7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera?

The first time I modeled in front of a camera, like during the headshots for the pageant, I found it really nerve-wracking. It felt unfamiliar to let go of control and just pose. Thankfully, it turned out much better than I expected. The photographers were so kind and supportive, which made the experience enjoyable. Plus, having the other girls from the competition around, who were super helpful and encouraging, really put me at ease. It ended up being a fun experience.

8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?

I see social media as both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it’s an incredible tool to connect with people, share your story, and inspire others. It gives a platform to voices that might not have been heard otherwise. On the other hand, it can create pressure to constantly compare yourself to others and project a perfect image. I believe it’s all about finding balance. Using social media intentionally and staying true to yourself while setting boundaries to protect your mental health.

9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?

My favorite social media platform is Instagram. I love how visual and creative it is, and it’s a great way to connect with others. However, it’s been a bit of a challenge for me to post content consistently, as I didn’t do it as much in the past. I have so many fun ideas, but it’s still a bit of a puzzle to create the content exactly the way I want, especially since I’m still figuring out all the features of the app. It’s a learning process, but I’m excited to grow and improve!

10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?

For young people with talent, my advice is to take the first step, even if it’s scary. Growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Believe in yourself and surround yourself with supportive people. You’re capable of more than you think.

For parents, I’d say listen with an open mind and encourage your child’s passion. Even small support can give them the confidence they need to chase their dreams.

11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion ?

It’s easy to feel the pressure to fit into certain standards, but I’ve learned that embracing your uniqueness is what truly makes you stand out. It’s a reminder that confidence in your own skin is the best accessory you can wear.

12.- Tyeisha, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles? How did you overcome obstacles?

Participating in this pageant is fun, but it hasn’t been easy for me. I’ve faced self-doubt and stepping out of my comfort zone, sometimes feeling unsure if I belonged in this space. I’ve worked through these challenges by focusing on personal growth, reminding myself why I’m joining, to inspire others, and grow. It’s still a learning process, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?

I haven’t really thought about becoming an actress. As a child, it seemed like a fun idea, but right now, I’m focused on the present and what’s in front of me. I have no experience with acting, but I take life as it comes and am always open to new opportunities. You’ll never know untill you try it, right?

14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?

I believe women will play an increasingly powerful role in shaping the future, even in societies where they are still oppressed. Education, awareness, and access to resources are key to driving change. Organizations like Simavi are doing incredible work in empowering women, and it inspires me to contribute to this cause.

15.- Tyeisha, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?

My biggest motivation is the chance to create a better version of myself while making a difference for others. More than anything, I feel grateful simply to be here today and to have the opportunity to grow, overcome challenges, and keep moving forward.

16.- Tyeisha, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?

I enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, though I haven’t explored as much as I’d like yet. Some of the places I dream of visiting are Japan, Bali, and South Africa, all known for their unique beauty and culture.

In the Netherlands, I’d recommend visiting Amsterdam for its iconic canals and museums, but also Groningen. It’s a lively, youthful city full of energy and amazing food spots. And of course, my hometown Leeuwarden, which has a cozy and charming vibe.
