1. – Chantal, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Sibculo and have been living in Westerhaar for a few years now. The villages are not that big so you get to know everyone quickly. When there is a party in the neighborhood, people from the surrounding villages all come along to have fun with each other. I think it is super fun that all this is possible in the village.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
My family and friends are everything to me and I like to do fun things with them in my free time. Every now and then we go to a festival in large groups in party buses, but I also like a day of shopping and having a drink on a terrace. If the people around me are happy, I am too.
3.- International Model – Miss Beauty of Overijssel 2025 Finalist . When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
It was always a dream of mine to participate in a beauty pageant, but I just didn’t dare. When the casting days came this year I thought maybe now is the right time to go through with it. The moment I heard that I was a finalist of miss beauty I was so happy and so proud that I did it now. All the fun days with the beautiful finalists and a top organization feels like one big dream.
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Chantal in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
Always keep smiling and do everything you can because you know that if you really want something, it will work out.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Self-confidence and loyalty.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
It’s super important to me to be able to show other girls that you can just be yourself in any situation. Every girl is beautiful and who you are as a person makes you so unique. No matter how difficult it is sometimes, especially in these times… always try to make your dreams your reality, that always puts yourself a step up and it’s okay to fail, that only makes you stronger and I want that for you give along.
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I thought it was all super exciting and was quite nervous. Of course we sometimes take a nice photo for Snapchat or Instagram. but this felt very special. At the same time, I was so sure of myself and happiness really radiated from me.
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I see so many messages these days, mainly private matters from someone else that we have nothing to do with. Or then I hear that there are online conversations in a group that go from bad to worse to try to make someone insecure. Such a small screen ruins so much… luckily I open my phone and see a sweet quote on my Instagram and then I look at my phone with a big smile and everyone deserves that!
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I prefer to communicate via social media via WhatsApp or Snapchat. But if there is anything you can message me about anything. My favorite apps are Snapchat and Instagram.
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
My advice is to always keep talking. Are you afraid of the next step? Find someone who understands you and is willing to help you achieve your next goals. If you also find this exciting, make notes for yourself with points for improvement and what you would like to achieve, which will also give you more motivation to achieve your goals. And so much self-confidence.
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
It’s not about how good looking you look from the outside. It’s about what you are like on the inside as a person and that makes you a beauty ❤
12.- Chantal, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
There were certainly obstacles and there still are… things don’t always go well planned as I would have liked. But at times like that you have to be hard on yourself and just keep trying until you succeed.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
I haven’t thought about that, but I don’t think being an actress is really my thing either.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
This absolutely should not happen. What these poor women have to experience cannot be called a future. I believe that everyone has the right to a good life without violence and yet this happens. The government must do something about this so that this does not happen again.
15.- Chantal, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
My motivation is: Don’t wait for the perfect moment, grab the moment and make it perfect. I am so grateful that everyone around me is healthy and happy. And grateful for all the wonderful memories I was able to make with many loving people.
16.- Chantal, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
This is a fun question! I have just landed after 13 beautiful / sunny days in Curacao. I like to travel and I recommend Curacao, Spain and Turkey, super fun to enjoy, go out or go to a big bazaar. I would really like to go to Thailand one day… just save up a bit haha.
