1. – Demi, tell me about the city where you were born and raised. ,What do you like about your hometown?
I was born in Lelystad on 28 of August 2003. I was born at home. I lived there for 13 years and then we moved to Dronten. I liked Lelystad growing up but now that I live in Dronten I can’t imagine me moving back.
2.- What are your hobbies? what makes you laugh a lot or gives you joy?
I started playing soccer again after 6 years and I really enjoy it again. I also love going to the gym I also have a personal trainer degree so I can really combine that. Spending time with the people I love gives me joy.
3.-International Model, Miss Beauty of Flevoland 2025 Finalist. When did you decide to take your first steps as a model and beauty pageants? What feeling do you have achieving your dreams, your passions and being a recognized influencer woman today?
I was asked for my first pageant in 2019 I then was a finalist for miss teen of Flevoland. But I didn’t take things seriously and didn’t understand everything because I was also in my exam year so missed a lot.
I would love to achieve my dream and become miss beauty of Flevoland 2025. I am really serious about it and would love to inspire women🤍
4.- What do you think is the distinctive, unique stamp of Demi in each activity carried out as a beauty queen and model?
My distinctive stamp as a beauty queen and model likely comes from my unique ability to connect with others and express myself creatively.
5.- Whats is the main virtue that any woman must have to be an internacional model?
Confidence, like they always say confidence is key✨
Self-confidence allows you to present yourself well, embrace your unique qualities, and feel comfortable in various situations. This not only helps when posing for the camera but also in dealing with the pressures of the industry and building a strong presence. Additionally, perseverance is crucial, as the fashion world can often be competitive and challenging.
6.- Are you aware of being an influential woman for thousands of girls who want to be models? How important is it to you to be an idol for many girls and teenagers?
No and yes. Sometimes I forget that so many people see my account. I always react to my DMs if people have questions and am well aware maybe some look up to me. I would love to become an idol for these girls and make them see how every one of them is beautiful
7.- What was your feeling the first time you modeled in front of a video camera? What did you feel the first time at a beauty pageant?
I remember I was feeling very nervous but the photographer and people at the pageant were really sweet so that really helped
8.- What do you think about the power of social media today?
I think it has a lot of power today. I think it has a lot of negative influence on people because a lot of pictures are edited and girls want to look like the instagram models instead of loving the way they look. It could also have a good influence because more and more people are talking about how fake social media is and that everyone looks beautiful🤍
9.- How do you like to interact with your followers on social media? Whats your favorite social media?
I like to interact with people through Instagram. And instagram is also my favorite social media
10.- What would you advise young people who have talent but do not dare to take the next step? What would you advise parents who do not support their children’s talents?
My dad always said do what you love today, Because tomorrow is not promised. When you’re older you’re not gonna think I shouldn’t have done that, you are gonna think about all the things you didn’t do. So just take the risk and als yourself the question what is the worst that can happen?
I would say just try it out if your child is really passionate about something help them and see it through. You want your child to be happy right? So give it a shot
11.- What important lessons have you learned from the world of fashion and beauty pageants?
That you are beautiful just the way you are. I would always look at other people and compare myself to them. I would see the things others had and I didn’t and got really insecure about myself. Now I want to show girls that your beautiful just the way you are and if you try to be the best you everything is possible🤍
12.- Demi, being a model for you has been easy? Were there obstacles?How did you overcome obstacles?
I haven’t done a lot of photoshoots just a few and loved every single one of them. But I would say the biggest obstacle for me is doing my make up. I have no experience so I do my best.
13.- Have you thought about being an actress? Do you like the entertainment industry?
Yes I have thought about it but I don’t know if it is something for me.
14.- Worldwide, women have acquired a greater role even though there are societies where they are still abused. What is your opinion of the role of women in the future in these societies?
I would love to see a fitter were there is Equality for every single women.
15.- Demi, what is your motivation and what do you feel grateful for every day?
To be alive. My dad died last year from prostate cancer and he always said do what you love today because tomorrow is not promised. And I am so grateful that he was my dad and learned me everything I needed to know.
Together with my mom and grandparents.
16.- Demi, Do you like to travel? What countries do you know? What other countries would you like to know and which places do you recommend to visit from your country?
I really love to travel. But since a year I am really scared to fly. I have been to Turkey, England, Greece, Spain, Germany, Belgium and France.
I would recommend to visit Amsterdam. The Netherlands has a lot of great things to see.
